Out of curiosity, is there any way we could make a version of the stat charts for the characters, karts, etc a little easier to read and understand? While the information they give are relevant and accurate, I don't feel like it's very reader friendly. While I'm kinda speaking from personal experience right now (I'm not the strongest with math and such), it's also my opinion that the average person playing Mario Kart would be looking for a more simpler, straightforward way of figuring out the final stats for different kart combinations if they're looking for something specific (for example, a kart with high speed and handling specifically). I feel like, for the article itself, a easier to follow chart would be more useful while the in-game statistics that follow the more complicated means of calculating are good on the separate article. I could easily be wrong, as I can only speak for myself on this, but does anyone else find the charts hard to follow and use?

:You should first state the actual changes you're thinking about, before we can judge. The color coding right now shows the information you are talking about, only with a color scale that is friendly for the color blind people. Keep in mind that the game's UI this time shows the the internal stats in points, only with an odd scale and hiding a few stats.--Mister Wu (talk) 22:57, April 9, 2022 (EDT)

::I'm more or less talking about how the stats are shown in general. As it stands, everything is listed on a value of 0-5 (Dry Bones having a speed value of 2, using the example shown on the article), but I was thinking that, for the article itself, instead of having the 0-5 values, we instead use the values shown on the articles of the kart parts (for example, the Flame Rider's article lists that it lowers speed by 0.25). I feel that, for the Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe articles themselves, we use a decimal system that more closely reflects on how the in-game stat chart shows it; each character and vehicle customization part having their stat values read on a value out of 6 (Again, using the Flame Rider as an example: -0.25 in land speed, +0.25 for acceleration etc), while the in-game stat chart articles can be the place where the stat values are covered in a more detailed way. That way, we're not removing any necessary info, just simplifying it on a more commonly viewed article. I hope that makes sense, I was struggling to find a way to word all that.

"Inkling Girl" in character section should be renamed
The name changes depending on whether you're selecting inkling boy or girl. I think it would be more fitting to change the name to simply "inkling," so as to avoid confusion. 38.67.216.250 04:14, April 6, 2024 (EDT)
:Inkling Girl is the default appearance/name on the character selection, like how Link in his green tunic is his default appearance and how the male Villager is the default appearance. The other variants of all of these characters are listed in the section below. So to answer your request, no, it's best that Inkling's name is not changed as to match with other racers. 08:38, April 6, 2024 (EDT)
