Template:Species-infobox Polterpups are small, ghostly dogs that appear in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. They are one of the many ghosts live in Evershade Valley, and are typically friendly, but when the Dark Moon shattered they became very mischevious. There is one main Polterpup that appears throughout story mode, but other Polterpups only appear in the ScareScraper.

In the ScareScraper mode, they are feature in their own mode: Polterpup Mode. In Polterpup Mode, the Luigis must hunt down as many Polterpups as possible by using their Darklight Devices to see the footprints. Once a Polterpup has been located, he must be flashed with the Strobulb and vacuumed up. Each Polterpup has 50 HP, but rarely Luigi can find a Big Polterpup, which has 100 HP.

Appearance

Polterpups look similar to Poochy, but wear blue collars and are completely white and, like most other ghosts in the series, are slightly transparent. Their eyes are white too, but aren't transparent and therefore stick out more.

Ghost Container Description

Polterpup - Normally very playful and kind, the Polterpups started misbehaving after the Dark Moon shattered.

Big Polterpup - This pooch is big, so it might take more than one ghost hunter to keep him under control!
