'''Wigglevines''' are a plant-like species, which first appear in ''[[Donkey Kong Country Returns]]''. They only appear in the [[Forest (Donkey Kong Country Returns)|Forest]] world. In fact, their only appearance is in the level, [[Wigglevine Wonders]], where they play a major role in assisting [[Donkey Kong]] and [[Diddy Kong]].

As their name suggests, Wigglevines are organic plant-like creatures, which have a vine attached to them. They're also capable of flying, and come in different sizes. The [[Kong]]s can grab hold of a Wigglevine's vine, and it will carry them. The large Wigglevines can handle the Kongs' weight, and carry them past large [[abyss]]es. The small Wigglevines, however, can only handle the Kongs' weight briefly before their vines break. As a result, they're not capable of transporting the Kongs like their larger brethren.

Although the Wigglevines can help the Kongs get past abysses, they can't defend them from enemies, such as the [[Tiki Zing]]s. Therefore, the Kongs have to constantly move around to avoid the enemy attacks.
