Small Spiders appear in the battle against the Giant Spider in Donkey Kong 64

Small Spiders[1] (alternatively known as Spiders[2]) are one-eyed, bluish-purple spiders and enemies in Donkey Kong 64. They are only encountered in Fungi Forest at night, during the mini-boss fight against their larger counterpart, the Giant Spider. The Giant Spider summons three Small Spiders to attack Tiny at the start of the battle. They can be defeated from a few hits, or instantly from the shockwave attack. From each hit, the Giant Spider summons three more Small Spiders to go after Tiny. After five hits, the Giant Spider transforms into a Small Spider, and can be defeated just like one.
