Goat (Thing)
- “This statue of a voracious goat seems cute at first but becomes unsettling. We're pretty sure it moved this one time. And we swear we heard a baa.”

First appearance | Paper Mario: Sticker Star (2012) |
The Goat is a Thing in Paper Mario: Sticker Star. It can be found in Snow Rise after Birdo performs Swinging Swing and retrieves it from a distant mountain. It remains in Mario's Album until it is turned into a Sticker at a Sling-a-Thing station. Once it has been used as a sticker, the player must return to its original location and spin the nearby pine tree with Mario's Hammer to cause the Goat to fall from the sky. It may also be purchased from the Shady Toad for 140 Coins and sells for 20 coins.
As a sticker, it takes up four squares in Mario's Album. When it is used in a battle, the Goat will appear on the right-side of the screen and bleat. The camera zooms in on the enemies as the Goat opens its mouth and bites down on them while accordion music plays. After eight bites, it chews on the enemies before spitting them out and leaving. The player may press as the Goat bites down to increase the damage dealt.
The Goat can be placed into the Sticker Museum as #61, alongside other crush-based Things. Its description describes it moving, despite being a statue.
British English description[edit]
This statue of a goat seems charming at first, but ever since it's been here, there have been rumours of nibbled chimneys and eerie baas in the night.
