World 4 is the fourth world of Super Mario Bros. This world introduces Lakitus, Spinies, and Buzzy Beetles as main enemies, and is the last to feature an underground level.

World 4-1 SMAS SMB World 4-1 Title Card.png The first level of World 4, this level introduces Lakitu and Spinies.
World 4-2 SMAS SMB World 4-2 Title Card.png An underground level, this level introduces Buzzy Beetles and contains two Warp Zones: one leading the player to World 5, and one leading him to World 6, World 7, and World 8.
World 4-3 SMAS SMB World 4-3 Title Card.png The third level of World 4, this level takes place on giant Super Mushrooms and has several lifts.
World 4-4 Preview for most castles from the Super Mario All-Stars versions of Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels. The castle level of World 4, which contains two puzzles where the player must choose the correct path. The boss is a Spiny disguised as Bowser.
