World 2-2 (Super Mario Bros. 2)
Template:Levelbox World 2-2 (Chapter 2-2 in Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic; titled Don’t Be Discouraged![1] or Cobrat Attacks![2]) is the second level of World 2 in Super Mario Bros. 2.
Layout
Very similar to the first level; outside exploration is first, followed by an underground cavern. There is also an additional cavern where an extra life can be gained. In the first cavern, the player can get a Magical Potion. After the cavern there are six jars. Five of them are filled with red turtle shells and the other jar has a small heart and a POW. Then there is a large pit filled with Shyguys. After going down the large pit there is a door that leads to Red Birdo, who shoots both fireballs and eggs. This is the first time Birdo can do that (although Mushroom Blocks can be used instead to battle her here).
Ace Coin locations in Super Mario Advance
- The first coin is above the first bone.
- The second coin is above the bone on the second quicksand pit.
- The third one is in between the two pansers after all the jars.
- The fourth one is on the left side of the screen when the sand pit widens.
- The last one is on the left side of the pit when it splits in two.
Yoshi Egg locations in Super Mario Advance
- The first egg is on the right side of the wall that can crumble where the heart is. The player has to get the Magical Potion on the other side of the wall.
- The second egg is at the top of the pit. The player has to get the Magical Potion by going down the pit to the left side of the split next to the jar.
