World 18 is a colorful sea world. in Dr. Mario World. The first area is available as of 11 PM PT on Jul. 29, 2020[1], while the second area, challenge stages and special stage are available as of 11 PM PT on Aug. 12, 2020[2].

When an area is cleared, Cheep Cheeps, Deep Cheeps and Sushis appear. The viruses featured in the regular stages are red, blue and green.

Starting with 43 capsules, the objective of this stage is to collect all virus coins (8).

In this stage, each of the larger virus coins are covered by crates and Brick Blocks containing hidden viruses and exploders, along with floatie viruses and either exploder or pop cannon in one corner of each coin. Between the larger virus coins are viruses each covering a virus coin. The flask in this stage will shoot out exploders.

Starting with 38 capsules, the objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses (36) and break all colorful crates (29).

In this stage, the leftmost row and the first, fourth and seventh rows contain colorful crates, while the sixth and rightmost columns contain bubble machines. Each row of colorful crates contains a shell, with a pop cannon in the same row as one of the shells and the same column as the other two shells. Between the bubble machines are bubbles containing viruses, while normal viruses occupy the left of the sixth column of bubble machines.

Starting with 37 capsules, the objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses (26) and collect all coins from Coin Blocks (51).

In this stage, the leftmost and rightmost columns contain crates with Brick Blocks (all containing coins) in between them. Within the middle seven columns, there are keys hidden inside Brick Blocks below the doors, with four columns of viruses intersected with three columns of Coin Blocks in between the rows of keys and doors.

Starting with 37 capsules, the objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses (28) and collect all purple coins (22).

In this stage, there are purple coins adjacent to Empty Blocks and a couple near Brick Blocks, along with a few crates. Normal viruses occupying the rest of the first row, ninth row, leftmost column and rightmost column. Viruses are hidden inside all the Brick Blocks. In the middle column, there are two shells and an exploder.

Purple coins are unlocked in the following sequence:

  1. The coins in the same row as each shell and the two coins in the middle column, for a total of 6 coins.
  2. The coins in the second, fourth, sixth and eighth rows, for a total of 16 coins.

Starting with 36 capsules, the objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses (16) and collect all keys (7).

In this stage, the fully-frozen floatie viruses form a checkered diamond, with Brick Blocks and a key in between them. The Brick Blocks in the middle column contain hidden exploders. Pop cannons are located on the left and right of the floatie viruses, with caged crates in the same columns as the pop cannons. The cages' corresponding lock blocks are located on the very left of the third row and the very right of the seventh row.

Starting with 38 capsules, the objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses (50) and collect all keys (14).

In this stage, the leftmost and rightmost columns contain bubbles containing viruses. Between the bubbles, there are two rows of keys with fully-frozen viruses between their corresponding doors, also fully-frozen. In the other rows between the bubbles, each of them contains shells and fully-frozen viruses.

Starting with 43 capsules, the objective of this stage is to collect all coins from Coin Blocks (36) and collect all virus coins (4).

In this stage, each of the virus coins has four barrels (all containing viruses) and a caged coin. Between the virus coins are exploders and Coin Blocks, with a pop cannon in the middle. Within the same rows and columns as the flasks are additional purple coins and Coin Blocks. The filled flasks in this stage will shoot out either viruses, exploders or pop cannons.

Purple coins are unlocked in the following sequence:

  1. The coins in the first row and ninth row, for a total of 3 coins.
  2. The 2 coins in the fifth row.
  3. The coins in the third and seventh row, each in front of each virus coin, for a total of 4 coins.

Starting with 38 capsules, the objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses (26) and break all barriers (28).

In this stage, the barriers in the even-numbered rows within the second to eighth rows are caged, while the barriers in the odd-numbered rows within the first to seventh rows are hidden in clouds. In the same rows as the clouded barriers in the third, fifth and seventh rows are viruses, while horizontally between the caged barriers are bubbles each containing floatie viruses. In the topmost row above the bubbles are barrels containing lock blocks.

Starting with 37 capsules, the objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses (28) and collect all purple coins (29).

In this stage, there is a ring of caged purple coins in the middle three columns, with exploders and uncaged purple coins in the middle and half-frozen viruses (normal and floatie viruses) and pop cannons surrounding the ring. On the leftmost and rightmost columns, there are two Empty Blocks in each column with half-frozen viruses and a shell vertically between them.

Purple coins are unlocked in the following sequence:

  1. The coins in the second and eighth columns, along with the coins within the ring of purple coins in the middle three columns, for a total of 13 coins.
  2. The ring of purple coins in the middle three columns, for a total of 16 coins.

Starting with 22 capsules, the objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses (41) and collect all keys (31).

In this stage, there are pop cannons (some half-frozen) and barrels throughout the stage that contain keys and doors, and a shell that is present at the beginning. Viruses are also found throughout the stage, with several of them half-frozen. Capsule Plus are found in the sixth revealed row, while floatie viruses are found in the seventh revealed row.

This stage will scroll for one line each time enough objects are cleared or enough capsules are added to the stage and will stop after 9 lines are introduced.

In this stage, the floatie viruses, lock blocks, exploders and a skill charger are within an arrangement of barriers and Brick Blocks (all containing coins), where most of the barriers, most exploders, the skill charger and all Coin Blocks are caged.

In this stage, the even-numbered columns in the fifth row contain pop cannons, where crates, purple coins and barrels containing viruses are located. On the odd-numbered columns, there are colorful crates and crates.

  1. The coins in the third and seventh rows, for a total of 8 coins.
  2. The coins in the first and ninth rows, for a total of 8 coins.

In this stage, the virus coins are covered by Brick Blocks containing hidden keys and doors, crates and floatie viruses. The topmost row contains viruses and flasks, where the viruses each have a virus coin behind them. The filled flasks in this stage will shoot out either viruses, exploders or pop cannons.

Starting with 36 capsules, the objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses (31) and collect all coins from Coin Blocks (48).

In this stage, there are four groups each containing an exploder, two viruses on the left and right to it, two barrels (containing viruses) above and below it and caged Brick Blocks (all containing coins) at the corners. There is a shell in the fifth row, which is aligned to a lock block and two exploders. That lock block corresponds to the caged viruses and crates, while those two exploders are vertically between two barrels, containing viruses and lock blocks.

Starting with 38 capsules, the objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses (39) and collect all purple coins (12).

In this stage, the half-frozen red and blue viruses form a triangle that surrounds checkered Brick Blocks and purple coins (caged and uncaged). The Brick Blocks contain hidden green viruses. A row of ice fans is at the topmost row. The filled flask in this stage will shoot out either exploders or pop cannons.

Purple coins are unlocked in the following sequence:

  1. The 3 coins in the third row.
  2. The 3 coins in the fourth row.
  3. The 2 coins in the fifth row.
  4. The 2 coins in the sixth row.
  5. The 2 coins in both the seventh and eighth rows.

Starting with 43 capsules, the objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses (19) and collect all keys (5). All three colors are available in this stage despite the objective showing only red and green viruses.

In this stage, the ice and barrels are intersected, arranged in the shape of a diamond. The ice cubes contain keys, viruses and doors (all fully-frozen). The barrels contain doors in the topmost row and exploders in the others.

Starting with 33 capsules, the objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses (22) and break all colorful crates (30).

In this stage, the dust viruses surround the flasks and are between the lock blocks. Colorful crates are located above and below the lock blocks and the dust between them, where some are caged, along with additional colorful crates surrounding the dust viruses that surround the flasks. The filled flasks in this stage will shoot out either shells or Brick Blocks.

Starting with 32 capsules, the objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses (35) and break all crates (36).

In this stage, there are ice fans, crates and shells, with viruses filling in the rest of the spaces in those rows. Some of the viruses are clouded, making them immune to the effect of ice fans.

This stage will scroll for one line each time enough objects are cleared or enough capsules are added to the stage and will stop after 7 lines are introduced.

In this stage, the leftmost, middle and rightmost columns have colorful crates and in the columns between the colorful crates are viruses and purple coins (caged and uncaged). The doors are in the topmost row and the keys are in the ninth row.

Purple coins are unlocked in the following sequence:

  1. The 3 coins in the eighth row.
  2. The 3 coins in the seventh row.
  3. The 3 coins in the sixth row.
  4. The 3 coins in the fifth row.
  5. The 3 coins in the fourth row.
  6. The 3 coins in the third row.
  7. The 3 coins in the second row.

The last stage of the first area and starting with 35 capsules, the objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses (33), collect all purple coins (27), and collect all keys (12).

In the initial part of this stage, the bottom-most row with objects contains pop cannons, with the rest containing barrels, barriers and purple coins. The barrels contain keys, doors and viruses. The first revealed row contains colorful crates and exploders, the second revealed row contains colorful crates and exploders and floatie viruses while the third revealed row contains caged coins and doors. This pattern is repeated for the fourth to sixth rows and the seventh to ninth rows, with the tenth revealed row being a row of Empty Blocks.

Purple coins are unlocked in the following sequence:

  1. The 9 coins in the topmost row (before the stage scrolls).
  2. The 6 coins in the third revealed row.
  3. The 6 coins in the sixth revealed row.
  4. The 6 coins in the ninth revealed row.

This stage will scroll for one line each time enough objects are cleared or enough capsules are added to the stage and will stop after 10 lines are introduced.

When cleared, the rest of the first area in the world map gets cleared of viruses. Players also obtain the Sushi assistant upon completing this stage.

Starting with 32 capsules, the objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses (67) and collect all keys (3). The only colors available in this stage are red and blue.

In this stage, the fully-frozen red viruses form a path with fully-frozen pop cannons at the end of each point, weaving around Brick Blocks containing hidden blue viruses. The keys and doors are in the third, sixth and rightmost columns.

Starting with 32 capsules, the objective of this stage is to collect all virus coins (21).

In this stage, the three larger virus coins are each covered by viruses at each of the four corners, while the eighteen smaller virus coins are each covered by two rows of nine frozen viruses with a gap row in between them. A row of crates is between the larger virus coins and the upper row of smaller virus coins. Bubble machines are located in the first row and ninth row, with additional crates in the ninth row.

In this stage, viruses in groups of two-by-twos are connected with each other and are among clouded Brick Blocks (all containing coins).

Starting with 15 capsules, the objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses (61).

In this stage, the half-frozen viruses form an outline of a diamond, which contain barrels on the inside containing viruses, barriers and Capsule Plus and are layered with barrels containing viruses and dust viruses. Occupying the rest of the rows are normal viruses. Capsule Plus inside undamaged barrels will not have its number reduced until its number can be seen from the damage to the barrels.

Starting with 33 capsules, the objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses (20), collect all purple coins (10), and collect all keys (8).

In this stage, the doors are in the second row, where the three leftmost and three rightmost doors are behind cages. The viruses in the eighth row below the doors are also caged. Their corresponding lock blocks are in the first row, where an exploder is in between them and they are all between two pop cannons. Between the keys and doors in the fourth and sixth columns are floatie viruses, while fully-frozen viruses are between the keys and doors in the leftmost and rightmost columns. The third and seventh columns have crates and purple coins between the keys and doors. In the middle column, there is a Brick Block and purple coins, with five of them inside bubbles.

In this stage, there are four groups each containing caged viruses, floatie viruses, a crate, barrels containing exploders and Brick Blocks (all containing coins). In the middle of the stage is a barrel containing the lock block that corresponds to all the cages.

In this stage, the leftmost, middle and rightmost columns contain bubbles that contain viruses and lock blocks. The third and seventh columns contain fully-frozen viruses. Within the first two rows, there are shells, exploders and normal viruses. Crates are found throughout the stage, with some of them caged. The pop cannons in this stage are also caged and are located at the bottom of the first two columns, the last two columns and the middle column.

Starting with 40 capsules, the objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses (20) and collect all virus coins (13).

In this stage, within the square of objects, there are three sets of clouded shells and clouded pop cannons that are in range with each other, where crates are also in range. The two outer groups of pop cannons and shells each cover virus coins. The other parts of the square of objects contain colorful crates in a checkered pattern that cover five large virus coins, where viruses and floatie viruses are within the gaps except for where the middle virus coins is located.

Starting with 33 capsules, the objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses (20), collect all purple coins (36), and collect all keys (8).

In this stage, Brick Blocks occupy the majority of the stage, while the middle column has barrels containing shells. The two shells directly above the keys are within range of Brick Blocks containing hidden pop cannons. Two of the doors are hidden in the Brick Blocks directly below the flasks, while the other doors are in the sixth revealed row. The other Brick Blocks with objects contain either hidden shells, hidden floatie viruses or hidden purple coins (caged and uncaged), and at the seventh revealed row, contain hidden pop cannons. The filled flasks in this stage will shoot out pop cannons.

Purple coins are unlocked in the following sequence:

  1. The 8 coins in the fourth row (before the stage scrolls).
  2. The 6 coins in the second row (before the stage scrolls).
  3. The 7 coins in the first revealed row.
  4. The 7 coins in the third revealed row.
  5. The 8 coins in the fifth revealed row.

This stage will scroll for one line each time enough objects are cleared or enough capsules are added to the stage and will stop after 8 lines are introduced.

In this stage, dust-covered crates each requiring one hit to break are arranged in nine groups of two-by-twos, all surrounded by viruses.

Starting with 25 capsules, the objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses (24) and collect all coins from Coin Blocks (66).

In this stage, there are three columns of eight Brick Blocks at the leftmost, middle and rightmost columns, where all except the bottom-most Brick Blocks on the leftmost and rightmost columns are Coin Blocks. Between the columns of Brick Blocks, matching half-frozen viruses and Capsule Plus (four starting at +10 and four starting at +15) with a gap in the middle are found, where it is mostly filled with purple coins.

In this stage, there are a lot of barrels, with viruses in groups of two near most of the barrels, some of those groups being half-frozen. The barrels contain either viruses, keys or doors.

Starting with 41 capsules, the objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses (35) and break all colorful crates (28).

In this stage, the floatie viruses and most of the colorful crates are caged, with the lock blocks located in the middle column where they are frozen. There are also barrels in the two leftmost and two rightmost columns that contain viruses.

Starting with 35 capsules, the objective of this stage is to collect all coins from Coin Blocks (42) and collect all purple coins (23).

In this stage, there are ten rows of Brick Blocks save for a shell in the tenth row. The Brick Blocks in the same row as the shell are hidden exploders and the Brick Blocks in the ninth row contain pop cannons. In the eight topmost rows of Brick Blocks, there are 23 purple coins, 7 ice fans and 23 viruses hidden in them, in addition to Coin Blocks.

Starting with 35 capsules, the objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses (24) and collect all purple coins (12).

In this stage, the top-left and bottom-right contain frozen purple coins uncaged and caged respectively surrounded by caged viruses, while the top-right and bottom-left contain crates surrounded by viruses, caged pop cannons and caged shells. The middle contains caged purple coins, lock blocks and exploders, where one of the lock blocks is caged.

Purple coins are unlocked in the following sequence:

  1. The group of 4 half-frozen purple coins in the top-left.
  2. The coin in the fourth row and the first coins in the fifth row, for a total of 2 coins.
  3. The group of 4 fully-frozen purple coins in the bottom-right.
  4. The coin in the sixth row and the second coins in the fifth row, for a total of 2 coins.

Starting with 40 capsules, the objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses (21) and break all Brick Blocks (23). The only colors available in this stage are red and blue.

In this stage, three groups of fully-frozen viruses are mostly surrounded by bubble machines, and a row of five bubbles containing viruses are vertically in between two rows of five caged viruses. Bubbles containing Brick Blocks and crates are also found near the cages. The middle column contains lock blocks, one inside a bubble and the other fully-frozen. On the leftmost and rightmost columns, there are pop cannons and a shell among the Brick Blocks. Shells are hidden in the first Brick Block in the seventh row and the second Brick Block in the second row. The filled flasks in this stage will shoot out shells.

In the final stage of this world and starting with 36 capsules, the objective is to eliminate all viruses (58), collect all purple coins (41), and collect all keys (9).

In this stage, there are four sections of three rows each separated by Brick Blocks, with two of them visible before the stage scrolls. Those Brick Blocks contain hidden keys, doors, shells and purple coins (caged and uncaged). The bottom-most section has viruses in the first and third rows and exploders in the second, including inside the barrels. The second bottom-most section has two groups of viruses (some frozen) and an exploder each surrounding a fully-frozen Brick Block, with caged coins in the leftmost, middle and rightmost columns. The second top-most section has two exploders each surrounded by caged coins, with viruses in the leftmost, middle and rightmost columns. The top-most section has half-frozen coins, viruses and doors.

Purple coins are unlocked in the following sequence:

  1. The 2 coins that are hidden in the middle and rightmost Brick Blocks in the fifth row (before the stage scrolls).
  2. The coins in the leftmost, middle and rightmost columns in the second to fourth rows (before the stage scrolls), for a total of 9 coins.
  3. The 6 coins that are hidden in the second, fourth, fifth, sixth, eighth and ninth Brick Blocks in the first row (before the stage scrolls).
  4. The coins in the second revealed row and the third revealed row, for a total of 10 coins.
  5. The 6 coins in the first revealed row.
  6. The 3 coins that are hidden in the second, eighth and ninth Brick Blocks in the fourth revealed row.
  7. The 5 half-frozen coins in the sixth revealed row.

This stage will scroll for one line each time enough objects are cleared or enough capsules are added to the stage and will stop after 8 lines are introduced.

Once it is cleared, the remaining area of the stage map gets cleared of viruses, and players can access World 19. Upon completion, players earn a free Staff Ticket.

Within a 70 second time limit, the objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses (32), collect all coins from Coin Blocks (30), and break all crates (36). The only colors available in this stage are light-blue and pink.

In this stage, there are four rings of dust viruses each surrounding a Coin Block, where they are all surrounded by crates. Between the lines of crates are Empty Blocks in the topmost row and Coin Blocks in the others.

Completing this stage awards the player 500 coins.

Within a 65 second time limit, the objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses (40) and collect all keys (4). The only colors available in this stage are green and light-blue.

In this stage, There are columns of eight viruses in the odd-numbered columns, while in the even-numbered columns contain pop cannons, keys, doors and barrels. The barrels contain, from the left column to the right column, the following: barriers, crates (2 hits), colorful crates and purple coins.

Purple coins are unlocked in the following sequence:

  1. The 1 coin hidden in the sixth barrel in the eighth column.
  2. The 1 coin hidden in the fifth barrel in the eighth column.
  3. The 1 coin hidden in the fourth barrel in the eighth column.
  4. The 1 coin hidden in the third barrel in the eighth column.
  5. The 1 coin hidden in the second barrel in the eighth column.
  6. The 1 coin hidden in the first barrel in the eighth column.

Completing this stage awards the player 500 coins.

Within a 75 second time limit, the objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses (41) and break all crates (16). The only colors available in this stage are green and pink.

In this stage, fully-frozen pink viruses are found in the middle and sides of the stage with Brick Blocks next to them within the square of objects. The corners of the square of objects have groups of green floatie viruses and an exploder, which are cornered by crates. Pop cannons are hidden inside the Brick Blocks in the fifth row.

Completing this stage awards the player 1000 coins and a Staff Ticket.

Starting with 32 capsules, the objective of this stage is to collect all virus coins (27).

In this stage, bubble machines are found in the odd-numbered rows starting from the fifth row upwards, along with every second revealed row. Barrels are found directly above every bubble machine, all containing viruses. Additional viruses are located in the sixth row before the stage scrolls.

This stage will scroll for one line each time enough objects are cleared or enough capsules are added to the stage and will stop after 5 lines are introduced.

Completing this stage awards the player 1000 coins and Dr. Dolphin.
