World 1-Cannon (New Super Mario Bros. 2)

Template:Levelbox World 1-Warp Cannon is the secret cannon level of World 1 in New Super Mario Bros. 2. It is the first cannon level in the game, and also is the first cannon level ever to use the Dash Mario mechanic, which has Mario constantly running and jumping over enemies to reach the end and the player cannot stop.

To unlock this level, the player needs to locate the secret exit in World 1-Tower. Completing this level unlocks World Mushroom-1.

Layout

This is a very short level. The player starts in front of a cannon. Mario needs to enter the cannon and a countdown will initiate. Mario will then be shot to a night world where he needs to jump and avoid the enemies and falling into the gaps. One can collect all the coins along the way if the player wishes. Mario will continue to dash until the end of the level, so it is essential that he jumps at the right time. The only enemies here are Koopa Paratroopas. A Red Ring can also be found in the level.
