The Waterspout in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
“*** Waterspout *** Seafloor volcanic activity causes heated water to erupt and stream to the surface. Open your arms wide and let the water hit you to be blasted up high.”
Sign, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga

Waterspouts are objects in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. They are swirling vortexes of water that are formed due to underground volcanic activity. They appear only in Oho Ocean. They act as underwater counterparts to Whirlwinds, sending Mario and Luigi high up if they enter it while using Mario's Spin Jump. As soon as they enter a Waterspout, they are immediately launched out.
