The Vital Paper is an item that Mario finds that contains specific information about the Businessman's company's new product, Nitro Honey Syrup. Mario finds it in Zip Toad's (who was actually Doopliss in disguise) room. With this paper as evidence against Zip Toad for being the writer of the yummy, sticky threat, Mario could go and capture him.

- The sprite for the Vital Paper is used when Mario or his partner reads several other kinds of paper in the game.
