A Victory Parade is a way of showing all or most of the characters who appear in a Mario game. It is akin to the cast roll from from Super Mario Bros. 2 and Super Mario World, where screens show all the characters or enemies in the game.

Parades are most often seen at the end of RPG games.

History

Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars

At the end of this game, a parade is shown during the credits. Luigi leads the parade (aside from his wish being seen at Star Hill, this is his only appearance). Three Toads walk by with flags, and four more playing instruments, with Toadofsky conducting them, next to pipes with Piranha Plants. A cloudlike car drives by next, with Mallow, King Nimbus, and Queen Nimbus, with Frogfucius on a Lakitu's fishing rod. Five tadpoles are following it.

Three Bob-ombs are carrying the King Bomb, with Dyna & Mite on top of it. Two Chain Chomps pull a miniature version of Bowser's Keep, which is being repaired by Hammer Bros. Croco and a Crook steal from Bowser's Keep, and Bowser chases after them in his Koopa Clown Car. Dodo carries Valentina on a solid gold chair. Valentina punches Dodo in the head when he stops moving. Booster rides by on his train. Booster's Snifits steal from Croco and the Crook, while Booster steals Bowser's Koopa Clown Car.

Five Shysters hop by, followed by Mack, Yaridovich, and Bowyer. Smithy comes after them, on top of Blade, and hits them with his hammer. Afterward, the Sunken Ship goes by, with Johnny and two of his pirate sharks. At this time, it turns nighttime, with the star that is Geno flying by to light everything up. A large number of Toads walk by, with giant lit up figures of a mushroom and a flower. The Chancellor is riding a Yoshi, and finally, Mario and Princess Peach are on top of a figure shaped like a star.

At the end, during the credits, a parade is shown similar to Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Luigi leads the parade. Six Toads walk by with trumpets, drums, and flags. Afterward, the Star Ship goes by with all of Mario's partners - Goombario, Kooper, Bombette, Parakarry, Lady Bow, Watt, Sushie, and Lakilester - on it. Three female Toads walk by, followed by Chuck Quizmo and Vanna T.

The Koopa Bros. come by next on a car that resembles the fake Bowser. Four Bob-ombs explode on them. In the background, a lake goes by with the whale, with Kolorado and his wife on its back. Moustafa and some mice meet up with Rowf and Rhuff, while Tutankoopa is being chased by a Chomp, and escapes it. Buzzar and his mountain fly by, and three eggs in Buzzar's nest hatch. As Bootler comes onscreen, Tutankoopa is now being chased by three Chomps. Tubba Blubba appears to be floating through the air, but is really being carried by Boos. Tubba's Heart chases after his body. A tree goes by with Goomba King stuck in it, and the Goomba Bros. circling around it. Goomba King falls out of the tree.

Lavalava Island goes by, with the Yoshis on it, and Raphael the Raven and Lava Piranha (hardly smaller than the volcano) alternately peeking around the corner of the volcano. The five Yoshi kids jump off the island as Huff N. Puff and Gourmet Guy appear. The Yoshis attack them with their tongues, shrinking Huff N. Puff. Gourmet Guy pulls out a knife and fork and chases Huff N. Puff, trying to eat him. Crystal King appears, but another Crystal King reveals him as a Duplighost, only to be revealed as a Duplighost by the real Crystal King, who is then carried away by his Crystal Bits. Jr. Troopa and Kammy Koopa fight using magic. Bowser and some Hammer Bros. and Koopatrols go by. Bowser is in his Koopa Clown Car, and is caught in the crossfire of Jr. Troopa and Kammy Koopa's battle. As they go offscreen, he attacks them, burning them both as they come flying back onscreen.

It is now nighttime. The seven Star Spirits go by on their own car. Mayor Penguin, his wife, and two more penguins go by, followed by a band of Toads, two Amazy Dayzees, and then a car with the Ancients - Merlon, Merlee, Merluvlee, Merlow, Merle, and Madam Merlar, as well as Wise Wisterwood, with the Sun circling it. After two Bub-ulbs walk by, the Shy Guy with the flag walks by, after him a stage with General Guy, four Groove Guys, and two Shy Guys (from the Shy Squad) dancing on it appears. Twelve more Shy Guys walk by, and following up, the fifteenth Shy Guy (the straggler). Afterward, the six Toads with the trumpets, drums, and flags walk by again (with their spots flashing), and finishing up, a car with Mario and Princess Peach on it. Twink briefly appears before Mario and Peach walk to Mario's house to watch the fireworks, a large The End appears and zooms to the bottom, and the fireworks continue until the player turns off the N64 or Wii.

Paper Mario: Sticker Star

After the Sticker Fest cutscene at the end, a parade happens, the parade is led by a Green Toad (or Luigi, if the player finds him all five times in the game) and two other Toads, the first float is the Sticker Fest stage, with 3 toads, then the World 1 float comes, the two bent Toads and the windmill are on it, then Goomba Fortress float comes up, the cannons shoot, and two Goombas come up.

The gate opening to World 2 comes next, with two Spinies holding it, the next floats combines the first three levels of World 2, with the Yoshi Sphinx, the graves, two Pokeys and the Paratroopa squad, the next float is Drybake Stadium, the roof has the Toad from Damp Oasis.

The World 5 float has a Big Chain Chomp pulling it, there are Spear Guys, the Raft and the volcano with the Traveling Toad and the enemies he has been bullied with.

The parade shifts to night time, and Kamek leads the Koopa Troop, the first to appear are Buzzy Beetles. Then a float with a glowing version of the five main bosses appear, a Hammer Bro Boomerang Bro, Fire Bro and Ice Bro follow Bowser and Bowser Jr's airship float, then, eight glowing Toads hold the achievement flags to follow the final float, a glowing sticker comet float with Mario, Princess Peach and Kersti. The parade ends with three red toads. The camera zooms up to the The End text and the book closes, the lights turn off, and music plays until the player press the A Button button.

After completing the game, Mario can go back to Decalburg's Sticker Fest area and talk to the Purple Toad, which will allow him to watch the parade again.

Paper Mario: Color Splash

The parade in this game begins with two Toads holding a banner with a Big Paint Star on the front with Luigi riding in his Standard Kart (if Luigi hasn't been found in all six spaces yet, the Toads hold a banner showing how many times the player found Luigi). Then following along is all five leaders of the Rescue Squad V alongside the Port Prisma float, featuring many Red Toads and all five Big Paint Stars forming a big wheel. Eventually, a rainbow forms behind them and fireworks go off as the wheel starts spinning and the Toads dance.

In the next part led by the Chosen Toads and a spinning Tea Cup with two Shy Guys is a float based on Ruddy Road, with the cafe on the wheel that is being spun by a Paint Guy on the wheel. A Shy Guy inside another teacup holds food and sucks it, breathing fire which summons Draggadon, scaring the Shy Guy. He follows on a float based on the volcano levels, with the hot springs from Redpepper Crater and the three Toads inside as well and a Shy Guy looking at them.

The Sunset Express follows on with many carriages. The first carriage has various Toads sitting on the seats, the next carriage has two Toads using the Salt & Pepper and the Lemon things on the Steak, which the Toads from the first carriage eat up. The last carriage has some Spikes and Spinies balancing on a hexagonal puzzle. Then, out of nowhere, a Big Thwomp destroys the hexagons and the Spikes and Spinies fall off.

The next float is based on the Mountain levels, with two Toads waving and two Shy Guys rolling rocks down the slope. As two Yellow Shy Guys hold giant pillars, the three Chain Chomp powered chariots with two Snifits and the Koopa Troopa rush through, along with Princess and the Toad Professor rolling down catching up with them.

Next up is an enemy parade, starting with various sized Goombas which the wild Yoshis from The Emerald Circus chase. Also from this level is a upside down Shy Guy, two Juggler Bros. and two Shy Guys on rings. As the parade changes the Snifit from Snifit or Whiffit appears alongside other Snifits cheering on.

After that, the parade shifts to night time, and what appears to be colorless Dry Bones and Shy Guys leads the way alongside some Boos, but then Kamek uses magic to turn lights on them on, revealing their color. The float coming up is a glowing float with all the Koopalings on. Then, coming from the bottom, is the Airship, carrying Bowser, who is riding in the Koopa Clown Car. Then, at the end, Toads carrying the Super Flags lead on to the final float, which is the boat from the beginning of the game, carrying Toad and Princess Peach. Mario then comes out and talks to Peach as fireworks go off. Then, Toad and Peach head into the float with Mario looking out for a bit. He gives the player a thumbs up as the float vanishes.

Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam

At the end of the game, Toadette leads a Papercraft Parade. This features all of the Papercraft characters, the bosses, and the locations they've visited during their adventure. [1]
