User Brawl

How is the Brawl waiting list growing? -just wondering. Bad Proposal Supports

I noticed some of your supports or opposes in talk page proposals have some major flaws.

Talk:Baby Yoshi

Then should we merge Spiked Goomba to Goomba, or Mega Mushroom to Mushroom?

Headbonk Goomba, Submarine Guy, Ankoopa, there are tons of enemies that only appear in one game. Should we merge all of these sub-species to their respective species? Also, we've had articles on the giant forms of tons of enemies. Should we merge all of those too?

Used Block isn't a "random stupid useless article". We have articles on stuff more minor than blocks, and lots of them. Probably around 200. Should we delete or merge those items? Also, can you elaborate on your current vote? Hello, I'm Time Turner.

About your merging habits

It has come to our (Sysop) attention that you made many, many proposals to merge or get rid of stubs article. While your enthusiasm and concern for quality are appreciated, there's a big problem.

Quite simply, many of your proposals aren't well thought-out. At all.

Before making anymore TPP, you should ask yourself these question upon seeing a stub:

• Is the subject unique or part of a large, interchangeable group?
• Has the subject a bigger impact or prensence in the game's world than "It is mentioned once"?
• Can the article be expanded with substantial, relevant information, or can it only be fattened up with word crufting? This goes both way: A stub is a stub because no one has added much information yet, but otheer times, it tells everything there is to say about the subject and you can't expand much.

Another point that irritated some of our staff members: If your talk page proposal deal with more than one article, it should go on the proposal page. Such wide changes shoul be done in such a small corner of the wiki.

tl;dr: You're too merge-happy and that has annoyed some of the Sysops. --Glowsquid 19:14, 4 August 2010 (UTC)

Shroom/Mushroom

You know the proposal on Talk:Life Shroom? The proposal is proposing we split "Life Shroom" into "Life Shroom" and "Life Mushroom". I agree that the items have totally different effects but the proposal will have them split into exactly those two things. Now, the definitions of "Shroom" and "Mushroom" are the same thing; which means we will be creating an article ("Life Mushroom") where a redirect should be instead. Now, splitting it into "Life Shroom" and "Life Shroom (Galaxy series)" would be an applicable option, but the proposer isn't proposing that. So until he does that, I will not support and I beg that you don't either. Marioguy1 (talk)

I believe the comment I made was "This Trivia is horrible..." and I stand by that comment - it is not notable (or even trivia) to have a list of every single game Toadsworth appeared in; that's what the article is for. That Trivia is completely useless. The other piece of Trivia (the one that says Toadsworth's counterpart is Polari/Lubba) is better but still not trivia. Saying he was replaced by another character in another game is 1. Speculation and 2. Not notable. That would be similar to putting on the Bowser article "Bowser was replaced by Smithy in SMRPG". I think it was very lenient to just reword the Polari trivia instead of outright removing it. The entire trivia section is pointless in that article (AKA it is horrible). Marioguy1 (talk)

I had to undo part of your edit to the Bowser article (see here), since those grammar "mistakes" were actually part of the official bios themselves (I don't even think they were mistakes in the first place, but that's beside the point). Well, when I tried to get on, I saw a message saying I was banned. Apparently, they blocked my IP to, so I can't view as a guest, but anyway, apparently, they showed me a post which stated why I was banned, it was because I insulted bronies. That's the thing! Sonic's not the one who makes rash decisions, Knuckles is! Sometimes in the series, Dr. Eggman tricks Knuckles into doing certain things to help defeat Sonic! Like, take Sonic 3, for example. Eggman tricked Knuckles into thinking that Sonic and Tails were bad guys who were trying to steal the Master Emerald. So, in conclusion, Knuckles is the one who makes rash decisions, not Sonic! >=(
