Whoa...
I was playing Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga today and I finally beat Cackletta's Soul. But then I only had 3 minutes to get out of Bowser's Castle... I failed at that, so now all that work was wasted!{{User:M&L'M&L Baby_mario.gif 18:02, 13 January 2012 (EST)'}}

- That's because your userpage wasn't created yet. However, now that it's created, anytime you place it within a set of curly braces like any other template, it'll cause problems, so I recommend creating it on the subpage I linked to above and signing with that, or using the standard {{User}} to sign, so you get a valid signature. You can still use a timestamp with five ~'s if you'd like. Bop1996 (Talk)

Stubs
I think that the other users should be taking action. There are a lot of small articles that should be deleted, yet haven't even been marked as a stub. I don't know everything, so I can't edit, yet I feel that to not become a stub and be deleted, these articles need more information. If none can be provided, then a vote should take place on the article's talk page, about whether or not it should be considered a stub and be deleted. Also, users that are adding to articles like these should be careful to add everything they can to the page, because if they know some interesting things about the article's subjects but are too lazy to add them, the article may not be big and informant enough to be considered an article and will be deleted, despite the fact that information can be added so it is not a stub. I have been doing this to ensure that all articles can stay. Also, if you're going to mark an article as a stub, have a vote on the talk page, because many people may consider as a real article, not a stub, and will be angry that you did so.{{User:M&LM&L Baby_mario.gif 18:14, 17 January 2012 (EST)}}

Let's get somethings straight you've got a real attitude trying to tell an admin how to do their job. Secondly i didn't waste your time you wasted your own time by adding links you knew were unnecessary. And finally you weren't right about stubs i should know i've spent a lot of time defending small articles like this Pure Water from being called stubs because there wasn't any info to be added Raven Effect (talk)
- Raven Effect, with all due respect, stop being such an butt. Articles like Pure Water are like three sentences long, their stubs and your wasting your time defending them. You just don't get it
The whole thing is solved. Multiple people (including an admin), have decided to leave it as not a stub. You don't need to ask us to fix what is already fixed. Look, you're new. I'll cut you some slack. I don't know about the others.

Your current sig
When signing comments, either use just ~~~~ (which has several coding problems for you right now due to how it's configured in your preferences) or {{User|M&L}}. Using {{User|~~~~}} is causing several technical issues for you right now, so please don't use that. Bop1996 (Talk)

- Putting the ~'s inside the template after your username causes your sig to take up a whole line of text with coding that isn't executed properly. In fact, there's a policy page concerning how to use your sig, and what I've been telling you is an unofficial reminder to change your sig so it is in line with that policy. Bop1996 (Talk)

Apology accepted, but there was no argument. I simply told you what a stub was and why the Trampoline article did not fit the definition. I wasn't involved in anything that came after that. Look a stub is an article lacking sufficient information I.E missing info and the pure water article is not missing any info as no info can be added therefore it can not be considered a stub Raven Effect (talk)

- So would this mean we can't create an article for Mr.M?(In case you don't know, Mr.M is like Mr.L except that it's Mario that's been brainwashed.) I mean, he has his own Brobot and Brobot M-types and their themes and his own theme, which is the same as Mr.L's but with higher notes. All he needs is a battle theme for himself (which their probably is that is just Mr.L's but with higher notes) and to switch roles (Luigi being the legendary hero that can flip to 3-D and Mario being the one with the higher jump, the Super Jump and the slight slide that gets brainwashed) and he can be real, so it's different than Weegee.M&L Beware my fury! 20:21, 27 January 2012 (EST)

Keeping The Peace
- Please do not post any arguements about Luigi and Mr.L being different. If I was a patroller (and it was allowed), I would give out warnings against arguing. Don't worry, nobody has done this on my talk page, I just want you to know. I was going to put this in the rules section but I realized it's important enough to have it's own section. I can't punish you for arguing, but if you wish to argue, do so on another talk page, because I believe that Mr.L is Luigi and that anyone who disagrees should have their heads jumped on so many times the will get stuck inside your body, with Mr.L doing the stomping, and then having Brobot L-Type (because he's tougher) chewing up your remains and digesting them, leaving nothing but memories of you as the only part of you that still exists. Mario (series) -- WHAT??!!
I'm here to talk about the section that was made in the Mario (franchise) page. We can't lie and hide the fact that the series needed to be covered, as it is part of the Mario series. I think many people would be happier being who they are than living a lie. So, they'd rather the article get fixed later on than not get fixed at all. All the template is doing is attracting your attention to the part that needs fixing. So even if we got rid of the template, the article still needs fixing. It's like if an underground pipe was broken. No one would really know. But if you put a sign there that says the pipe is broken, then people would try to go fix it. However, the person who has the ability and tools to fix the pipe is in another country and doesn't know that the pipe needs fixing. Here, the sign is like the template; it attracts your attention to where the article (the pipe) needs fixing. As well, try not to post comments on Article Talk Pages UNLESS they contribute to making the article better. So don't just post a huge paragraph telling someone it's their "responsibility" (when it isn't) to go and fix the article if they are unable to. It helps no one, and it certainly doesn't help the article get any better. MarioComix 20:18, 31 January 2012 (EST)
- Okay, not to be arguementtive, but it's not like a pipe. Mario (or Luigi or Yellow Toad or Blue Toad) would be adventuring and would certaintly notice if a pipi is broken, and a sign explaining what happened would be unneeded-he could clearly see the damage. And being a plumber, he or Luigi (or possibly Wario or Waluigi, although it hasn't been confirmed that they're plumbers) could fix it easily-that's what plumbers do! And it is his responsibility, but I mean that it's his responsibility to help users and the wiki, and fixing the article would certainly be doing so. And also, it WAS about improving the article. I wanted him to try to help and fix it so the templates could be removed and it could be complete, because then it could become a FA (it's already been nominated), so I was trying to improve the article so it could represent the best of the wiki, thus improving the wiki too. And you don't need to butt in-and please use the article's talk page, as that is where the problem is and I check there to see if anybody left a response. If I am wrong in going to the article's talk page to discuss the problem instead of my own talk page, feel free to inform me. I'm not sure. But you got your facts wrong-many people wouldn't be happier living who they are instead of living a lie, as sometimes not lying gets them grounded, and then they certaintly wish that they were living a lie so they could be free (this may only apply to me, but I would rather live a lie then be truthful and get grounded, as being grounded for me meanss being locked in my room all day long, without being able to read any of my books.) and I would also say that they would rather forget about it as nobody at all has the information for the Game and Watch series and this could be a FA by forgetting about the Game and Watch series and just removing the templates-that's the only thing stopping this from being a FA. Only one user has noticed by themselves that the Game and Watch series isn't included, and opposing votes for this article becoming a FA all state we need the templates removed. People wantthem gone and I want to help. It'll be better, trust me. If you disagree, add the information and then get rid of the templates. Either way, this article can then become Featured and represent the best the wiki has, makimg everybody happy. Hope this isn't too long of a response! But since it's just taking up space on my talk page instead of an article, it doesn't matter-if it was in an article, there would be too much unneeded information that would get deleted, while here size doesn't matter to me and deleting it will get you a warning. Next time use a better example instead of a pipe (if you're a true Mario fan, you would know they're plumbers and the pipe example can't be used because of the numerous flaws which I have already pointed out) although I did like how you went into such deep detail. The thing is, I meant a pipe in REAL LIFE, not the Mario Universe. Secondly, the Template doesn't change the article. It only addresses that it needs fixing. The thing is, if you get rid of the Template, that doesn't change the content about the G&W games, it just hides the fact that they need contributions. If you had to ship a glass chandelier in a box, and had a sticker saying "FRAGILE" on it, then it's just addressing the fact that it's fragile, so that people would know. However, if you get rid of that sticker, does that mean the chandelier is no longer fragile? No! So, unless it is decided by everyone that the info on the G&W series is sufficient, the template stays. MarioComix 21:12, 31 January 2012 (EST)
- But it's not addressing to the issue. People are saying stuff like "It can't be a FA, it has a rewrite-expand template on it!" without knowing what it means. They know that it wants the article rewritten and expanded, but they don't know what it wants expanded on or added, just like thepeople shipping the chandeleir know it's fragile, but don't know what it is that's fragile. But that's what the Talk Page is for. It's for addressing which part of the article needs to be rewritten and expanded. And you addressed that by asking why the G&W game series have that there. And the people who are saying that stuff are likely newer members who do not have an as-well developed sense of what a good article is. I mean, if an article is a Stub, some people may not edit it unless it has the Stub template on it that addresses the fact that it is a stub and needs expanding. Sure, the template is gone, and you may be happy, but in the end, the article was never fixed at all. MarioComix 21:30, 31 January 2012 (EST)

Spelling
- What's up with the spelling on the wiki? I've been making lots of edits since I joined, and I've noticed that while the majority of them are removing unnessecary information, adding information or changing incorrect information that a good chunk of those edits have been correcting grammar and spelling. And lots of the rewrite templates are to rewrite the article (most likely to fix grammar and such, as a few templates were removed after I fixed a couple of errors) or put it into proper verb tense. The verb tense one doesn't make sense, because the articles with that template are all in the correct verb tense. But barely any are to rewrite and expand. It seems that while a couple of articles are missing information, most of them just need better spelling. We should add an age restriction so younger kids can't edit the wiki, because they usually misspell things and end up giving that article they "fixed" a rewrite template. Plus, they don't seem to know all of the information, as they don't usually understand what's happening and think it's something else, so the information they put is usually wrong. And even if we can't do that, I would advise users with younger siblings to make sure they don't use your computer (or log inif you log out) to edit the wiki, as it may make people trying to find information think that what they put is correct, which could lead to some serious difficulty (example: reading that you can't climb vines in Super Mario Bros. 2 and end up unable to complete it as they can't even finish the first level because they think they can't climb vines, when in reality it's a neccesity) and major frustration when trying to complete a level by doing something that isn't correct, like having to hit certain buttons to complete a level (Chapter 1-3 from Super Paper Mario comes to mind) and having the wrong combination. This is extremely bad because people then may think that the wiki is lying and is untrustworthy, when in reality it's the best darn place to find information about Mario games. I'm sorry if this would belong on the forums, although I guess since it's my talk page I can do what I want, right? And I know that the header says "Spelling" and I've already changed the subject to an age restriction and then a warning about letting little sibling use your account, and now this. But once again, it's my talk page, so I can have a header and not even mention the subject it says breifly, although I wouldn't do that because it would be annoying and drive me crazy, so I advise you to not do it either. Hope this isn't too long to read, but I may make more comments this size (not on other users talk pages, unless I have something very important to say, as they might think of it as a waste of space, but I hope they don't, because size doesn't really matter on this wiki), so you may have to be prepared to read a lot if you want to see all of the content on my talk page, although most of the comments are mine, as this isn't a high-traffic zone. If you drop by, feel free to start a conversation! I reply as soon as I see a comment, so I am able to keep many conversations going at once! And they can last for days, like a comment a day or someone not being here for a few days and missing the comment. - A couple weeks, generally. But it could be sooner, like if a specific problem was brought up and then solved - there's no point in discussing a solved problem, and comments like "yeah, I agree with that decision" really add nothing. Sometimes it's okay to address older things too, like if someone asked a relevant question but no one answered it - then if you come along and you have the answer, and the question is still relevant, you can answer. - There's not really anything you can do about it (aside from marking your talk page for deletion, but there isn't really a legitimate reason to do that). As for archiving, there is no length requirement. You can do it whenever you wish, though it is recommended that archives are made in large chunks rather than in short bursts. - I might have to stop editing the wiki. There's nothing left to add about anything I know about. Almost everything that has a template (rewrite, stub, etc.) is something I don't know about, so I can't help improve the wiki anymore. Anything I do know about has all of the information included, so I can't add to anything. And since I can't buy a new game for a while, I won't be able to contribute to the wiki! I'm not really any help on the wiki, so until I get a new game I probably won't edit any more articles. I want to help with the newer games or new releases, but almost all new releases are for the 3DS, and if I want a new game I can't buy a 3DS, so I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. If anyone knows a way I can be active on the wiki without having to get a new game (and a new system for half of the games) I would deeply appreciate if you responded below.
