Mario Kart: Super Circuit
Hi Yoshi876! I appreciate what you did to the trivia fact in the article Mario Kart: Super Circuit. I added that little piece of info back on because it gives the reader a comparison of how many Bowser Castles were in Mario Kart: Super Circuit to other Mario Kart games.
RE: Why do you want to delete that? I wasn't planning on adding anything else to the trivia section. On my behalf, I think it gives the reader more knowledge about Bowser Castle tracks.
RE: I am not trying to disagree with you, but I believe it's better to have info on more pages instead of just one certain page. It can be frustrating to some people who might not be able to find a certain page.

RE: My brother finished the 5 worlds in about a week! I'm only on World 2 right now, lol. I have Mario Kart Super Circuit (2001), Mario Kart DS (2005), and Mario Kart Wii (2008). I am looking forward to the new Wii U Mario Kart, even though I'm not looking to buy a new Wii U in the near future. I WANT ALL THE MARIO KARTS!!!! By the way, how long are you on Mario Wiki? RE: I've played all of them except for 3DS Rainbow Road. Love Airship Fortress, but like Moonview Highway better on the Wii. I still think Koopa Cape is pretty fun.
RE: Moonview Highway was awesome, since it was the first Mario Kart track I played that had cars and a city feeling. I loved the toll gates and how it was in a city and a forest! I've also really wanted to play Mario Kart 7, but it's to sad I don't have a 3DS. Mario Kart 7 had so many changes with the hang gliders, underwater driving, car parts, and how some tracks were only one lap with 3 parts!

I gave the reason that Mario Kart is an Nintendo classic. I think it's on the virge of getting unfeatured cause someone was screwing around with the article, and making it look sloppy.

Don't worry about it - no hard feelings. Although the sentence "Stars make the player invincible, faster and give the ability [...]" is correct and, technically, makes more grammatical sense than saying "Stars gives", which is clearly incorrect. --- ThePremiumYoshi (talk)

RE: Lol. Gamecube games do work with the Wii, but you would first need a controller and a memory card. I recommend going to Lukiegames.com and buying a controller and a memory card for only about $16 total. Then you can buy used Gamecube games from there and play them! - BTW, you can't start typing right away to create your userpage. Try putting a table on your userpage by clicking the icon that looks like, well, a table on the top. The three links I gave you are for extra information.
- Also, how did I get words to go to certain links? I just put 2 brackets around a group of words and when you save, it will show up blue! Click on the blue word(s) to go to an article on the SMW!
EX: Cheese Land & Cheese Land
- Just put 2 brackets on each side of a word to make it go to a link!
- BTW, put 2 equal signs together on both sides of a group of words to make a new section.

RE: To me, Mario Kart never gets old. Still, Mario Kart 7 was released less then 1 1/2 years ago, which seems such a short time ago. I think Nintendo is kind of rushing this game, because 2 years seems to short. Even though Mario Kart DS came 2 years after Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, I think it shouldn't be released this year. re: Page Creation help
I'm not Yoshikong, but I figure I can help, so.
When clicking a redirect, there should be a message among the lines of "(Redirected from [name of the redirect}" at the top of the page it redirects to. Click on it and you'll be able to edit the redirect. --Glowsquid (talk) 09:06, 28 March 2013 (EDT)
RE: Page creation help
Edit this page. Also, I would just like to say that it's great that you want to do this, but I'm sure you've contemplated the fact that splitting the article does not just mean to create a separate page. There are individual categories that need to be created, character/enemy history entries to add, templates and (many) links to update, and the article can't just be a cut-paste of the current content Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island#Remakes and Ports, and likewise all info on the main article at the moment which shares the remake content, like the Enemies section, needs to be moved to the new article. It's a bit of work, but if you are up to it then please go ahead =) If you need a hand with anything, let me know and I'll assist you as soon as possible (my internet is a bit sucky at the moment, though).
- Will do.
- I'm heading out for now, but if you wanted to do it here's what to do with the categories. On every page which relates to the remake, put Category:Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3. And on all images that you are sure come from the remake, such as screenshots, sprites and artwork, replace the old game image category with Category:Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3 Images.

I unfortunately cannot find any strong hider pics, ill get them up when they come out though, and if theyrenot out by april 10, ill just take a pic of mi 3DS while im looking at it in the vault
P.S: Is it ok if i make talk pages for the strong greenie, gold greenie, strong gobber, strong sneaker,strong slammer, etc. and you make the real pages, i got a lot of free time on my hands. Also i will use the same rules for the pics as for the strong hider

Okay I was just about to make some edits to the article. I think we can organize some sections through tables, but I'll see what I can do.
- I'll see if I can find some sprites for the transformations as well. Also another suggestion for the article: instead of having a centered gallery for images below sections, do you think they should just we aligned to the left and right within a thumbnail throughout the article? I think that's best.
- That's an ImageMap! I could do that if you like :)

I could, but it seems like too much work to add them one at a time after I complete each article. Sprite Quality
The image you tagged for bad quality, File:SSBIconMetal.png, is not bad quality; this is the best quality is sprite can get due to it being a direct rip from the game. Bad quality sprites would include JPGs, bigger than actual size, sprites taken from screenshots, etc. It does NOT include sprites that are made that way, such as the sprite you tagged for image quality. You have to understand this.

Apologies for the late reply, I've been a bit busy. So to answer your question, generally the best place to obtain sprites is The Spriters Resource. But looking at the YIDS page, it doesn't look like they have the transformation sprites at the moment. Maybe I'm wrong, and I just haven't looked hard enough, but if the transformation sprites aren't there then maybe I could have a go at ripping them myself... although I'm not too experienced with DS rips. My specialty lies in some other consoles, but I could try. In the meantime, perhaps you could ask Megadardery, because from what I've seen he's pretty capable of ripping sprites.

Yoshi's Island DS
I'm planning to make the table soon, but I'm sleep-deprived, so I can't do it today. I disagree with YoshiKong's comment. In Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, large sprites are simply resized to fit nicely in the table, and I think we can go that way for large sprites in Yoshi's Island DS.

I can explain to you what passive tense is by giving you an example (no I didn't take this from the article)
"After Kamek is killed, the Yoshis celebrate their triumph."
That's passive tense. Simply put, the predicate is placed in front of the sentence (to give you a refresher, the predicate is the verb that tells you something about the subject. In this case, the subject is the Yoshis. In an active tense, this is how it is.
"The Yoshis celebrate after Kamek is killed."
You see, the subject comes before the predicate.
Basically, the problem I have with this article is that sentences keep starting with a preposition phrase, which means that it's a passive tense. I'd do some more rewriting, but I'll note to ya that there are pretty noticeable punctuation errors in the article (such as placing a colon after a verb when making a list). We should not remove all passive tenses, the alternation between active and passive makes the article easier to read and prevents repetition.
