Princess Peach FA Nomination

RE: Articles
Typically, a subject's notability is determined by two factors: 1) if there is an official name for the subject (i.e., an actual proper noun with capital letters, like "Goomba" or "Luigi," not say "sand"), and 2) the subject makes an actual appearance in the media it is referenced in (otherwise an officially named subject would be an implied subject). Outside these criteria, it becomes difficult determining what and what should not have an article. The lists you were creating were basically listing of more lists, or other minor subjects. That's why we have categories - to generate lists of the articles the category is placed on. That would have worked better. List articles are usually created for MAJOR category subjects (like characters) or if the list is actually offering commentary on a notable subject (like King Koopa's alter egos).

My take on it
I think you are presented with a complex situation. First, you obviously need more articles and writers. I can help you with that... Then, we have multiple paths. They are:
a)Only put Fake Newses (or hower however I should spell that le last piece) on there
b)Have pages for each character and have people put anyhti anything they want on there (only problem with this is grammar and swearing

...Things to do?
Mmm, what kind of Mario games you do play (besides SMRPG, and maybe PM), and what kind of websites do you visit to gather other types of Mario stuff to inform, or to entertain... :o For the second one, why should I ask? I'm working on this section of mine: Raw Data. The details are in that page. :o RAP... Incase you didn't know, there are many, many problems in the wiki. It isn't hard to look over the cracks. XP
I guess sometimes you may need to think outside the box, what if there is a development section and it's like behind the scenes of the game. Take Mario Kart Wii, how was it developed in the early stages, and exactly how was it developed when the game was revealed into the public as an announcement. :o Those examples I have to say. And maybe sometimes you have to get "exclusive" info from many of the sources to get the full satisfaction of how the game works, where's the beta stuff, and others that might be good enough to be mentioned in articles. RAP... For me, I'm going to try continuing workin' on rewriting the mini-games of Mario Party 1, 2 and mebbe 3. ;o

Hmm, I think you may have to work on the vocabulary I guess (although I altered the writing a bit because of that previous fact), maybe a bit more researching of how the game is developed. Maybe check the main website incase. ;o You are going good so far. RAP... I think the server's slow when it comes to going to long pages. D:
Ah, from your POV (point of view), this might be interesting. :) Be sure that your not adding fanon-stuff, the wiki wants official info, not fan junk, or false info. ;) RAP... ...And the development section is like layers of cake, if one of the layers is missing; then the cake is incomplete. XP
Sadly, I rarely go into the forums because 1) I only go there if there is a special discussion, for the staff. 2) I may have school, and right now I have 3 days off, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. But I prefer the chatroom. :3 RAP... I have a feeling that a spark of refreshness will try to bring the wiki back into order apart from summer. :D ...Oh, I may have to sleep nao.

Yeah, I was looking at the RecentChanges/History time stamps - which are a few hours ahead of EST - when I commented about Arend's vote. It's confusing how the Wiki and the proposal's time zones don't match up; I'm good at math, but time zones never fail to give me a headache... - Walkazo 18:06, 17 February 2009 (EST)
- The Proposals should just use the Wiki's time (UST) and displace everything five hours back; that way, people will still be free, but the Proposals will be in sync with the Wiki. Instead of saying it ends at 17:00 EDT, we should say it ends at 22:00 UST, that way the History can be used to enforce the deadlines, without having to rely on Users doing the math themselves (or making misinterpretations, like me <_<). That is actually an older template to use for articles that were dumped in the past in the early stages of the wiki (as well as recent dumps we don't catch early on). Wiki dumping should not be done on purpose - start with a small original article and build. -- Son of Suns (talk)

Zero777: Need Some Help, QUICKLY!
I am Zero! Alright so my promblem is there are two users each opposeing two of my polls which the first one says "What is your favorite Final Smash?" and the other one says "What should be the name of the next Super Smash Bros. game?" (they are both in the bottom of the list), but there opposes are more like opinions or comments. The first user for the first poll is Luigifreak, he opposed by saying "you already put up this poll", now I know in some cases this is considered an oppose but I already explained that someone deleted my poll so I have to put it up again and I also told him that his oppose is more like a comment and I told him to move it to the comments, He hasn't yet, I'm not sure if he is not checking the poll selection page often or he is still opposeing. The second user for the second poll is Full Metal Alchemist, she oppose or more like critisize my poll by saying "Super Smash bros. suck..." in the oppose section, but this oppose is more of a comment because her oppose had nothing to do with the poll at all. So I'm asking you as a sysop to please give them a notice or a warning or whatever it is to tell them to move there opposes to the comments (please respond). Zero signing out. Zero777 (talk)

finishing the conversation: I'm sorry, It's not a category. At the bottom of each page, there are those tables that say something like "Super Mario Galaxy bosses" and then lists the pages under that topic, so in that instance it would list all the SMG bosses. In the table with the topic "Bullet bills and Blasters" The page "Blue Bullet bill" is listed still, so if we are never going to make that page, we should delete it. If this still confuses you, I can show you the templete i'm talking about. Luigifreak (talk)
