Hi, just need to check if you remember the login information with the account Madbird82 (talk)? Yoshi876 (talk)

Decided to take The RPG Gamer's AdviceEdit

The reason why I decided to use that username "MadBird82" was because I decided to follow The RPG Gamer's advice that was on my former talk page. So can you please block the old username? I decided to move my username so I can keep using this wiki. Also, I still wanted to help edit the Color Splash bestiary. So I do deserve a second chance, right?

CategorizingEdit

You almost got it, but you're categorizing images wrong. What you're doing is {{Category:Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door Enemies}}. Instead, the text need to be like this: [[Category:Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door Images]]. {{}} calls up a template instead, which isn't correct.    23:33, 14 April 2017 (EDT)

To clarify, {{}} inserts the contents of the page you are referencing. [[]] links to the page itself you are referencing. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 23:36, 14 April 2017 (EDT)

Personal Image WarningEdit

You currently have too many personal images.

Users are limited to a maximum of five personal images, which can be used on your user page and/or for a signature on talk pages (see the personal image policy for details). Please select the personal images you would like to keep and mark all others for deletion using the {{delete}} template. If you have not relinquished your extra images within one week of receiving this notice, five images will be selected for retention at random, and the rest will be deleted. If you continue uploading more images and exceeding the limit, then a warning will be issued.

If you make one a {{personal-image-sig}} and actually use it for User:ThatOneUniqueToad/sig (per signature policy), you will have reached your limit for all allowed personal images. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 18:34, 30 May 2017 (EDT)

I think I'll go with deleting File:Madbirdnocryingsymbol.png. It's kind of useless anyway. Also, I did not know that Personal Images for one user have a maximum of four! Thanks for reminding me!

-- ThatOneUniqueToad (talk) 23:25, 31 May 2017 (EDT)

You didn't have to delete File:Madbirdnocryingsymbol.png because File:RedAngryBirds.png can have its tag be changed to {{personal-image-sig}} and you would still be following policy. You can just ask Mario jc (talk) to restore the image if you want. Policy is 4:1 (general personal images to one used in your signature, totaling 5 allowed). --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 16:23, 1 June 2017 (EDT)

S.S. Chuckola Captain and Crew SpritesEdit

Pardon me but could you upload The Captain and his crew please? I wanna add em to my icon I made please? Also nice work on those sprites! DryBowzillaJP (talk) 21:16, 8 October 2017 (EDT)

Done. Besides, I'm feeling kind of worn out of adding sprites to Super Mario Wiki. Anyways, thanks for requesting me. I'll be doing more tomorrow. -- ThatOneUniqueToad (talk) 22:16, 8 October 2017 (EDT)

OdysseyEdit

It seems you hate this game... is this a joke, cause I find your entries to be hilarious, but you're saying Odyssey sucks, but that you're addicted... is this the archivist Toadette thing? Chat Man (talk) 23:17, 23 November 2017 (EST)

It takes a lot of guts to go against a big game like that, respect for sticking with your opinion. I also agree, Toadette really should've had an amiibo. I'm a die hard Waluigi fan so I understand. Chat Man (talk) 23:24, 23 November 2017 (EST)

FA NominationsEdit

Votes like this are not allowed. Pages become featured articles based on the quality of their writing, images, and general structure. The subject of the page itself is irrelevant. Voting just because you like the game is a fan vote and not allowed. Hello, I'm Time Turner. 13:54, 25 November 2017 (EST)

Sorry. I didn't even know that opinions are not allowed for supportage in this. -- ThatOneUniqueToad (talk) 19:13, 25 November 2017 (EDT)

Personal images / signatureEdit

Dear ThatOneUniqueToad,

Your current signature is in violation of one or more of the rules listed on MarioWiki:Signatures (image is too tall). Please change your signature and keep the regulations and requirements in mind when creating future designs. If you have not made the appropriate changes within one week of receiving this notice, your signature will be changed for you.

Hi. Just a couple of things regarding your personal images:

Links to redirectsEdit

I noticed your recent edit on the ???? page. While it was a good trivia point, Minion Quest: The Search for Bowser is actually a redirect; the game’s info is covered here. I just wanted to let you know that linking to redirects in articles is discouraged and should generally be avoided; use piped linking ([[link|displaytext]]) in such cases. The word "here" in my comment is actually a piped link in case you need to look at its code. Thanks for reading and keep contributing! -YFJ (talk · edits) 20:22, 24 March 2018 (EDT)

Re:Minion QuestEdit

I don't actually own a copy of the game and thus cannot verify the information, so feel free to either bring it up with an active user who does have the game, or simply add that information yourself. Thanks!   (T|C) 22:31, 6 May 2018 (EDT)

ImagesEdit

Just curious, why do you give .gifs so much unused blank space? I know all the frames need to have the same parameters, and that the surrounding squares on the TSR sheets are fairly large, but does there need to be so much consistently-unused space? That just causes file sizes to grow unnecessarily, from what I can tell... Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 01:09, 20 May 2018 (EDT)

Um, those responses confuse me greatly. I was just asking why the borders appear as a huge square, when they could be compressed to the actual frames' furthest-out boundaries. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 00:50, 21 May 2018 (EDT)

Game sprites categoryEdit

Letting you know that adding Category:Game sprites to images is redundant when you add the {{game-sprite}} license, as the category is automatically applied.    12:53, 17 June 2018 (EDT)

Oh...guess I'll have to remember that from now on... -- ThatOneUniqueToad (talk) 14:11, 17 June 2018 (EDT)

Thank you.Edit

Thank you for every edit you've ever done ever! Thanked you for your edit on (talk) 15:02, 19 July 2018 (EDT)

I wonder what that was all about? -- ThatOneUniqueToad (talk) 1:14, 20 July 2018 (EDT)

Zombie ShroomEdit

So I saw you editing the SPM bestiary by adding 1-1 to Zombie Shroom and this means that the enemy is now in the wrong order, being cornered by enemies that first appeared in 1-3. I replayed through the whole level and searched in every inch and hit all these blocks, but I couldn't find the Shroom. Would be nice if you can tell me where you found it so I can place the enemy at the right spot in the bestiary  VOIDTHIS (talk)  23:48, 3 August 2018 (CEST)

TattlesEdit

Whoa! Phenomenal job here! It's about time that article was created. Thank you for assisting in my mission to perfect SPM-related articles!
  Ultimate Mr. L (Talk-Contribs-Stats) 21:34, 26 September 2018 (EDT)

With that much research, I don't see why not, but better ask around a bit in case someone else has foudn them in those locations.
  Ultimate Mr. L (Talk-Contribs-Stats) 11:24, 27 September 2018 (EDT)

Thingy about file cloneEdit

The fact of the matter is that character galleries should be prioritized just as much or possibly more than game galleries, as that's typically where people look for images of that character. That images was not in Fawful's gallery. But of course, I'm responding to a comment not directed at me. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 02:25, 7 October 2018 (EDT)

Re: File cloneEdit

I just realized that moments after I posted that. Never knew that file was already uploaded.  Bloopity bloop.

Whoa!Edit

I know it's been a while since you finished, but thanks for your work on the Super Paper Mario bestiary. All those sprites are much appreciated.
  Ultimate Mr. L (Talk-Contribs-Stats) 12:13, 30 October 2018 (EDT)

Snow GuyEdit

They did upload a poorly-cropped and enlarged image, which claims to have originated from a Switch screenshot, so I'm really unsure about it. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 16:36, 22 November 2018 (EST)

Re: Megabite in 3-4Edit

I think it was by the castle entrance. Scrooge200 (talk) 18:21, 30 November 2018 (EST)

YouTube for DiCEdit

I'd suggest making sure to type in "HD" when searching for episodes to get screenshots of, as several of the videos are of quite low-quality. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 21:03, 2 December 2018 (EST)

People just have better video cameras to record things than they did back in the day, so more recent ones will be much cleaner-looking. Typing in "HD" is the best way to ensure that, or sorting them by most recent. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 14:38, 8 December 2018 (EST)

AboutfilesEdit

Hello, ThatOneUniqueToad. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly use the {{aboutfile}} template. What you were doing looks like this, and it is an inconvenience for other users to fix up the template. It is simple to learn how to format it correctly. The pre-loaded coding is shown below.

{{aboutfile
|1=Subject of the image
|2=Where you found the image
|3=Artist
|4=Describe edits, if any
|5=Other versions (use file link)
}}

Just replace the necessary parts with that corresponding information, and remove the entire line of the variable(s) you don't use. If you do not wish to use the template at all, then it is acceptable to simply remove it before you upload the file. Please consider the above information before uploading more files. If you continue using {{aboutfile}} incorrectly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing.

Hello, regarding your recent uploads you are incorrectly using the {{aboutfile}} template, as you are forgetting to remove the empty variables when uploading an image as, for example, if you put nothing in the |4= slot, then |4= must be removed from the aboutfile template entirely. While using the aboutfile template is not necessary, if you do use it it must be used correctly, as listed above this comment. Thanks for your understanding. Doomhiker (talk)  11:28, 8 February 2019 (EST)

Okay. I'll remember that. -- ThatOneUniqueToad (talk) 11:50, 8 February 2019 (EDT)

RE:BJJ LevelsEdit

Works for me.   (T|C) 20:08, March 26, 2019 (EDT)

Bingo cardsEdit

Hello, can I ask how you're getting the bingo card artwork (i.e. what format the My Nintendo reward was downloaded in and what edits were made if any)?   Mario JC 22:51, April 3, 2019 (EDT)

RE:DisambiguationEdit

Normally, I would say that those two disambiguation pages should be deleted due to being redundant to the {{about}} template.

HOWEVER!

I'm starting to think that we should have called them "levels" to begin with since the "mission" terminology doesn't really apply to this kind of linear progression, so I'll update the terminology to reflect this.   (T|C) 15:57, April 19, 2019 (EDT)

ContractionsEdit

In light of your latest creations, please remember that contractions (such as "wasn't", "isn't", "he's") are discouraged in non-quote text on the wiki and the extended forms ("was not", "is not", "he is") should be used instead. Other than that, keep editing and good luck! -- KOOPA CON CARNE 17:49, May 31, 2019 (EDT)

Re: Unused MLSS Final Boss dialogueEdit

If you've found something unused, it can be added, and if you can find more information while doing so, that'd also be great. Certainly sounds interesting! Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 00:02, July 18, 2019 (EDT)

ReceivedEdit

You're spelling "received" wrong. You're spelling it with an "ie" instead of an "ei".    19:54, December 4, 2019 (EST)

Dream TeamEdit

Just want to say something to help you out with your Dream Team edits, when talking about damage values (like with the Flibee), you should include "in normal mode" since Hard Mode has different damage values. I'll put those in if I can remember them, but just a heads up. Mario Sakuraba (talk) 12:39, June 6, 2020 (EDT)

Re:WindbagEdit

It's not rude at all, and in fact I think that's a pretty good question. For the first alter ego when Koopa announces "Opportunity knocking," Gramma Toadstool responds "But I don't know anyone named opportunity," Koopa gets flustered and quips, "Er, good fortune! A turn of luck! That which you've been looking for! Happy days are here again! Open the door, ya old biddy!" It seems he's not really calling himself "Opportunity" so much as he's saying he has an opportunity, but Gramma misunderstands and Koopa comes up with other phrases to get her to open the door. For the third alter ego, Koopa is still visible wearing Gramma's gown underneath his scuba gear, and when Toadstool inflates him away she teasingly exclaims, "See ya later, windbag!" So from my observations, these aren't really alter egos in the traditional sense of the Super Show. LinkTheLefty (talk) 18:58, August 18, 2020 (EDT)

I'd merge the "windbag" alter ego with his Gramma disguise and put "Opportunity" under the Other costumes section. LinkTheLefty (talk) 19:26, August 18, 2020 (EDT)

Pictures on signatures?Edit

Hello there, I'm new here, I came over from bulbapedia, could you please tell me how to add one of those little pictures next to your signature? DHP613 (talk) 15:52, June 1, 2023 (EDT)
