He's then found alive in Chapter 7; and then Bowser and O'Chunks (trying to hold up a falling ceiling for the others to get out) are crushed and presumed dead. Then, Peach and Mimi, after the floor let loose (and Peack held on to Mimi and the edge for dear life) fell down, supposedly dead. Then, in Chapter 8-3 (Bowser and O'Chunks were killed in Chapter 8-1, and then Peach & Mimi in Chapter 8-2), Luigi and Dimentio faced off, resulting in only Luigi being killed by a fiery eexplosion. Mario, Tippi, and the Pixls were the only ones to survive. But, it's revealed at the end (during the battle against Count Bleck and Super Dimentio), that they all survived.
