On Arcade Bunny, et al.Edit

From your recent edit history, it's obvious you have a major bugbear against the existence of pages like Arcade Bunny, Nintendo Badge Arcade, et al. That's fine, there are pages I think are stupid or maybe too out-of-focus. But I think there's a better ways for you to go around it

A neat thing about this wiki is that anyone who gets pasts the minimal requirements to filter out spambots can start a vote on any non-staff matter. Creating a talk page proposal (TPP) on the relevant article's talk has many benefits:

1: If successful, you automatically get your desired outcome (ie: deleting the pages).

2: TPPs get more discussion and participants than regular talk sections by virtue of being more urgent and visible

3: Ifthe TPP fails, it's not the end of the line. If new developments happen or you manage to think of strong counter-arguments to what caused the original vote to fail, you can always make another after the minimum delay listed on the page.

So yeah, I said as much on Talk:List of Yoshi designs in Yoshi's Woolly World but at this point, I strongly suggest you to just create a TPP about the relevant pages. Continuing to get in protacted talk page arguments is not going to get you closer to your goal (as there are clearly users who disagree). Who knows - maybe the silent majrity of wiki editors agreee with you (I know I'd vote in favour of deleting the bunny page, at least). --Glowsquid (talk) 08:39, 13 March 2016 (EDT)

Where did you get those Mario RPG enemy statsEdit

"Softlock"Edit

We have a page detailing unwinnable states, if you want to put that sort of thing there as well. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 22:58, March 30, 2019 (EDT)

Oh hang on, it's already there, nvm, sorry Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 22:59, March 30, 2019 (EDT)

Super Mario World medal gameEdit

That discussion board post you put on the list of games concerned a Super Mario World medal game. Would that medal game happen to be Super Mario World Mini Piccadilly? Lord Falafel (talk) 23:30, August 19, 2019 (EDT)

PMTTYD bestiaryEdit

Hi. I made this edit, but I'm not sure if this is what you want. Is the "|" character found in the original text? (I don't have access to YouTube, sorry.) --Dine2017 (talk) 03:24, November 29, 2022 (EST)

Wanted to show my support for scrubbing the Lakitu informationEdit

I just wanted to... honestly, thank you for taking out all the information about final laps. It was not relevant, and we did not need it on every track article. I was actually gonna make a proposal to put it all on one page at least, but... actually, deleting all of it is just better. Ahemtoday (talk) 01:11, December 25, 2022 (EST)

It was just baffling to see. Some anon user really decided to focus at least an hour of their life to adding such overly specific information to Every. Single. Page. The human mind works in strange ways sometimes. Shadow2 (talk) 03:27, December 25, 2022 (EST)

SunshineEdit

Hey, I wanted to get your two cents more directly on the Sunshine article. You mentioned "large images that bloat the page" on the talk page. Since you raised that issue, I had readjusted the size of images to be more uniform and lumped some objects together. I know that doesn't solve the problem, but do you think the article is at least better than it was? Images were originally scaled even smaller for the 3D game articles, (compare November 22, 2023 to today for Mario Galaxy), but discussions with Doc made me come to the impression that images that small are too difficult to see. - Nintendo101 (talk) 22:32, February 1, 2024 (EST)

Indeed, I've always been of the belief that an image only needs to be large enough to get the basic idea across, and if a user wants to click on it to make it bigger, they're free to do so. It looks better now. Shadow2 (talk) 00:21, February 2, 2024 (EST)
