Toad BrigadeEdit

Hey! Welcome to the SMW!! Anyways, I was just wondering, how do you know that the Toad leading the Toad Brigade is Toad and not some other random Toad? Respond ASAP and keep contributing!!! Marioguy1 (talk)

About the Toad image you re-uploaded (after I deleted it)Edit

That said image had Toad himself being "blurred". And since the coins in the background are "cropped", the picture sadly doesn't count. However, if you're able to find the same picture without Toad being blurred (and the coins being "cropped", we'd happily would have it back in their respective articles. OMG yes!!! I can honestly say that it is without a doubt extremely, completely, and totally awesome in every way!!! Of course, that's just my opinion, but I'm a Mario game fanatic! My guess is that if u liked SMS, then you'll most likely like this too...although, it does help to have experience from Super Mario Galaxy first, but u don't have to, you could still play it just as well, it just takes a little getting used to, u know? :) PHOENIX (talk • edits) 23:10, 29 November 2010 (UTC)

Well, idk about any relatively new games, but truthfully, I am behind on the Mario Party series, as Mario Party 8 is really the only one I've ever actually had a chance to play, and I really liked it, so I was thinking about getting some of the older ones... Yeah, I really enjoyed the minigames in Mario Party 8, they're pretty fun to play over and over! My only fear would be that I would have such high expectations after playing MP8 that its predecessors would never be able to live up to them, u know? SMSEdit

RE: Toad image (Mario Pinball Land)Edit

Problem is this; from what I understand, the image that you showed me on my talk page (and what you attempted to re-upload after I deleted it) was still "cropped" from this picture right here. We usually don't accept "cropped" pictures unless it was a very rare scenario, and also, if you can tell me where you encountered that picture itself on the 'net, I can investigate further. Because officially, I haven't seen that picture you uploaded being released to the press from NOA's PR team (or other Nintendo subsidiaries' PR teams). --M. C. - "Mario Gals" Fan! I'm making mainteinance of all the galleries available, although I haven't done for all yet. The Mario tennis sprites are of horrible quality, they would look better pixelated but no, they're blurry and the pictures alone are just awful. As for the Mario sport mix ones, where are the rest? and are you sure they are sprites and not 3D models? ¢oincoll€ctor

It's often hard to tell between Toads. None of the Toads in Mario Super Sluggers wear THE Toad's color scheme, which is why I removed the Red Toad sprites from THE Toad's gallery page. Sorry if this is an issue. M&SG (talk) 22:41, 6 July 2011 (EDT)

Video Game SpritesEdit

Please read the history for her page and take note that she DID NOT voice Toad in Mario Party 1~3. Tomoko Maruno did; her voice samples from Mario Kart 64 were merely reused for Mario Party, thus she went completely uncredited (just like Julien Bardakoff and Thomas Spindlor were for Luigi and Wario, respectively) in Mario Party. Martinet and Kozuki (Mario and Peach) were credited in Mario Party because they each had a new voice sample (their respective "Oh no" from the poison mushroom effect of the mushroom space). --User:Kyubihanyou 12:24, 15 January 2012 (EST)

Hi i don't know if this is a rule or just a recommendation but i think were supposed to wait till the game actually comes out before changing the artwork of a page Raven Effect (talk)

I don't think it's an actual rule (could be wrong, though), but it makes things easier. After all, we can never be sure that a game isn't going to get canceled or that a character is going to be removed at the last minute. Mario4Ever (talk)
