RE:Removed Edit

Because it is an unconfirmed speculation, which does not fly here on the wiki. I don't see any Zelda-like dresses anywhere. That and it's been undone already, so you shouldn't re-add it with citations. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 20:30, 11 July 2016 (EDT)

I'll look into it. Next time, though, don't complain when someone removes your edits and don't re-add them. Doing so looks bad on your part. Add a picture or something to help back up your claim. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 20:37, 11 July 2016 (EDT)
Sorry, not trying to sound mean or rude. I believe that you believe that what you're saying is true, but backing up your claims is a great way to get it to stay. Without any resourceful info, people will shrug it off as a "bad" or "unsourced" edit. Again, though, I'll look into it later. I'll boot up the game and check out the room myself, then report back to you about what I've found.
Also, you can upload a photo by clicking "Upload File" on the left. :) Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 20:47, 11 July 2016 (EDT)

Okay well, it's the purple dress on the rack next to the red one where the key is found and the other is on the back wall and it's pink.Pikmin theories (talk) 20:58, 11 July 2016 (EDT)

Wardrobe Clothes

Clothes from the Wardrobe Room's south wall

Okay, so looking at all of the clothing, I have come to the conclusion that there is no Zelda dress.

There are several different pieces of clothing hanging up, but I believe the one you are confusing to be Zelda's is the pink Chinese dress, which is the one hanging on the racks where the Key spawns and the one where you have to view with the Game Boy Horror. It... honestly doesn't look like any of Zelda's dresses. If anything, they're more like Chun-Li's. It, like any other piece of clothing there, is simply a generic piece of clothing. Sorry, guy.

However, the red dress bears a resemblance to Pauline's, but only somewhat. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 00:15, 12 July 2016 (EDT)

Talk pages

Hi there. Just FYI, comments like this are not allowed talk pages; they are only for discussions related to improving the article. You can visit the forums to talk about this instead. Wolf Link costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 02:02, 6 October 2016 (EDT)

Forum Talk

As what Mario jc (talk) said up there, forum talk on articles isn't allowed. If you're gonna post on a mainspace talk page it MUST be related to improving the article, if you continue this. You'll be in grounds for a {{reminder}} thanks. The RPG Gamer (talk) (edits) A Big Bandit from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. 00:10, 12 October 2016 (EDT)

But according to the template on the top of the page, all comments "must be related to improving the article and that was a question. If you want to ask about that stuff, do it on the forums. Piper (Color Splash)

Regarding the article you created (Piper (Color Splash)): It's great that you have the information for a new page; however, when creating a new article, you must following the criteria listed in Manual of Style. This includes:

  • Proper grammar and spelling
    • "Toad" is a proper noun, so it should be capitalised as well
  • Bolding the subject's name in the first sentence: Piper
  • Italicising any game titles mentioned: Paper Mario: Color Splash
  • Linking to other pages
  • Adding a category (e.g. Category:Piranha Plants) and a navigation template (e.g. {{PMCS}})

As for naming the article, please use the full name of the game rather than just its subtitle (Piper (Paper Mario: Color Splash), instead of Piper (Color Splash)). (More information can be found here.) You also don't need to write the article's title again in the first line.

I've gone over the page as best as I could (I haven't gotten to this point in the game yet), but please keep this in mind next time you create a new article. I suggest going over the Manual of Style yourself as well. Thanks, and keep contributing. Wolf Link costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 22:26, 24 October 2016 (EDT)

RE:poochey and Yoshi's Wooly world.

Sorry, but it appeared to be a lot of opinion too, and the template at the top of the page specifically says "Please ensure that all comments are related to improving the article", while the page for the game already states "It is a port of Yoshi's Woolly World, which means that saying that the game is just an update of the original doesn't help improve the article at all. Sorry about that. --A sprite of a Flame Chomp from New Super Mario Bros. Wii.TheFlameChomp (talk) 20:11, 3 February 2017 (EST)

Private Goomp

What evidence do you have that Private Goomp could not have been the Goomba alongside Captain Goomba in a barrel? Remember what he says in the barrel? "Us Goombas should up our game! Get some respect for a change!" That's automatically confirmed by Cap himself when he says to Goomp in the deck of the Koopa Cruiser, "I'm with you, Private Goomp. It's time to make a name for ourselves!" He's responding directly to what Private Goomp said when he was in a barrel along with Captain Goomba. As for his promotion, he very well could have been a private before he got thrown in the barrel, because Goombas don't get much respect at all, and after he got thrown clear of the Koopa Cruiser's crash, he could have done the exact same thing that Cap did, except with far less success. Yeah, it's not proof, just speculation, but the game itself confirms that Private Goomp is the Goomba in the barrel alongside Captain Goomba. Lcrossmk8 (talk) 22:58, 7 December 2017 (EST)

As for that, I don't know. All the game confirms is that Private Goomp was thrown in the barrel along with Captain Goomba, but what it doesn't confirm, or even show, is how he became a private, or if he ever was a private. There's a clear difference between the two. Lcrossmk8 (talk) 23:11, 7 December 2017 (EST)

Blank pages

Please do not create blank pages. If you have something to add, add it with the edit. Don't create a blank page with the intent to add something later, if that's what you were doing. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 13:52, 5 April 2018 (EDT)

The + symbol at the top should be available on any talk page, whether the page is created or not. Another way to do it is to add the topic header manually in the text window, by typing two equal signs on both sides of your subject title. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 13:56, 5 April 2018 (EDT)

RE: Evoland coins

Do you have a screenshot? Wolf Link costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 21:29, July 6, 2020 (EDT)

"did take a pic of a coin" So you do have a screenshot?
You can post it from your Switch to Twitter or Facebook if you have accounts here and then link or extract the image from there. Alternatively, if your Switch album saves images to your microSD, you can insert it into your computer using a microSD adapter and get the image from the album folder. Wolf Link costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 02:29, July 7, 2020 (EDT)
Okay then, that's very close. Wolf Link costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 21:43, July 7, 2020 (EDT)

Grammar

Please try to be a bit more careful with your grammar; a number of your last few edits were capitalising words after a comma. Wolf Link costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 23:49, February 13, 2021 (EST)

Remember to italicise game titles as well. Wolf Link costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 22:30, August 11, 2021 (EDT)

RE: secret codes

I've reconsidered, and yeah, it is more in-your-face than a simple explanation of instructions especially with it calling it "Top Secret", so I've readded it. Wolf Link costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 06:49, November 15, 2023 (EST)
