By Pokemon Diamond, that is. You bought it a while ago due to Brawl, right? Well, just thought I'd check up on you.
Are you glad you got it? Surely you realize how addictive it is by now - don't you?
How far are you? Please don't tell me you've already beaten the Champion and are attempting the Battle Tower...
I would assume you've got past the part where you meet Dialga, right? (Palkia PWNs, BTW.)
If you need help or don't get some things , I can explain almost anything related to the game.
To prove how dedicated I am to the game, here's part of a message I sent to MegaMario9910, about trying the Battle Tower:

My Battle Tower Progress:
So, my Articuno now has Mind Reader, Sheer Cold, U-Turn and Avalanche, nature is Jolly, held item is Focus Sash. EVs: 252 Speed, 126 Sp, Def, 126 Def, 6 Attack.
My Heatran has Modest nature, moves are Flamethrower, Flash Cannon, Ancient Power and Explosion/'Splosion, held item is Sitrus Berry (NOTE: I keep changing my mind about which item should be held). EVs: 252 Sp. Atk, 252 Speed, 6 Attack
My Blissey now has Toxic, Protect, Softboiled and Healing Wish, nature is ...forgot, something that boosts Defense and lowers Attack, EVs are 252 HP, 252 Defense, 6 Sp. Def.
Now, there are some important things you might not notice about my team. I've given Blissey Healing Wish to support Artcuno or sometimes Heatran, now that Articuno has Focus Sash, it generally has no trouble doing the 1-hit KO combo, because even if the foe uses a Rock move for 4x damage after I do Mind Reader, Articuno survives and on the next turn, because of its' maximum possible Speed, it goes first and does Sheer Cold. Then, since it has only 1 HP left, I switch to Heatran...unless the foe is one that would obviously counter Heatran with Earthquake or a Water move. In that case, I switch to Blissey instead. First turn, Blissey uses Protect to see what move the foe tries to use. If it's a deadly Physical attack, I don't keep Blissey in play, I get it to use Healing Wish (Blissey almost always survives one powerful hit) and switch to Articuno, fully restoring its HP and removing status effects if I was unlucky enough to have any. Then, I generally do the combo again. Even if it dies, Heatran is my last hope. However, my winning streak ended at 38, when I made a stupid mistake. I'd done the previously mentioned stuff with Articuno and Blissey, they were both dead, it was my Heatran against the n00b CPU player's last Pokemon. My Heatran unexpectedly went first (it was against a fast one, forgot which, though) and I had chosen Explosion in panic, I think the foe was a Ground or Water type. It did KO it, but here's the catch:
If you use a suicidal attack to defeat the opponent's last Pokemon, it counts as YOU losing!!!!
It's stupid, but true. If I'd done a normal attack, Heatran would probably survive one attack from the foe, and would have been fast enough to do another and win. IT'S INFURIATING! 38 wins is my new record, my previous was 36 (which was with a n00bish team, I dunno how I did that before).
I have learnt that my team has some flaws (but then, no-one is perfect...).
One is that I discovered Focus Sash only works once, after it coming into effect, I switched to Blissey, did Healing Wish, and thought that since Focus Sash only works if your HP is full when a KO move hits you, it would do it again. And it didn't. Great way to find out.
BTW, after the Tower Tycoon at 21st battle, the opponents are merciless, so beware. On 22nd or 23rd battle (do I have...AMNESIA!?) it was a Dragon Tamer who used Dragonite, Salamence and....Drapion (WTF - might as well use Magikarp!). Save for the last one, that's a tough team. Even without my 1-hit technique I'd probably have won with Ice moves though. These post-TT foes often use rarely seen Pokemans like Dusknoir, Froslass, Mamoswine, Gliscor, Rotom etc. Of course, these are tough Pokemans to beat (NOTE: CPU Rotom users always do Thunder Wave first, then Double Team, and Discharge some time after).

Yes, competitive players have to consider that many things in battles! And that's just a start...
Just one question:
Have you found any Shiny Pokemon? (they have a 1 in 8192 chance of appearing in the wild, they're different coloured versions of their species, all 493 Pokemon have Shiny sprites. If ever a wild Pokemon appears with a special sparkly animation appears along with a pinging noise, you know it's a Shiny even if you dunno what the normal variation looks like.
I've got all Legendaries and Ubers, the main Ubers being Darkrai, Shaymin and Arceus. Arceus is teh GOD OF POKEMON!

Well, in Brawl I overuse Meta Knight, so I guess I'm the best with him. I mean, he's so damn good. If I get trapped among opponents, I just do the cyclone spin attack to escape. I'm quite good at his teleport move as well.
In general, he PWNs! Although his Final Smash isn't that good, it requires good aim and it isn't really powerful (Galaxia Darkness). But it's cool, though.
I occasionally use Link, but I prefer Toon Link for his agility. However, Link's Triforce Slash is probably my favourite FS, it just looks and sounds so cool. In Training mode, I like watching it in 1.5x speed, and also in slow motion. You should try that! I find Link a bit awkward to use because his bomb attack isn't very useful, neither is his Gale Boomerang.
BTW, I love the Spear Pillar stage, I'm a big fan of Palkia and a mild fan of Dialga. So, YOU SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT Pokemon Pearl, not Diamond! Too late now. You'll find that Palkia is much better because its' signature move Spacial Rend is much better overall than Roar of Time. Just wondering - what convinced you to but a Pokemon game? Was it anything to do with Brawl? I can give you expert advice about stuff!!!

I wish I could get it for Christmas...yes, that's a long way off. But we have to start by getting broadband. Yep, we don't even have that yet.
About Brawl, that's one of the things I love most about it - the fact that so many different series of games come together, rewarding players who have played the other game series with a feeling of familiarity and sometimes nostalgia. This might shock you, but I'd never heard of the Earthbound/Mother games until now! I'm not sure I'd find F-Zero very interesting. Fire Emblem looks cool because it's got castles and swords. Now, I have played one Star Fox game - Starfox Adventures on GameCube. It's not like the traditional space shooter-style games of the series, but it's got the best graphics of any GC game ever! It's actually an Adventure game. The combat sucks, unfortunately.
For Sonic - I've got Sonic and the Secret Rings on Wii. The graphics are very good, but the game is "kinda dinky" - whatever that means. Make sure you see Sonic's true speed by getting him to level up to Level 63 and learn Hyper Speed-Up. It's crazy.
For Pikmin - I've got both 1 and 2. I sold the original ages ago, I regret doing so. You shoudl definitely get Pikmin 2, it's awesome. It's a Strategy-type game, but also an Adventure, has awesome graphics, and is long-lasting and full of wicked bosses. Not to sound up myself, but I'm probably a world-champion player of the game.
And finally, your reason for choosing Diamond over Pearl. I'm going to redirect you to this user. Tell him about your choice. I want to see his reaction...

Hola!, ah, muy sencillo!,primero la dibuje en una libreta, pero sin pintar,despues, la puse en el scanner, y guarde la imagen,la hice mas chica, le borre el color cafe(asi se ponen los dibujos, cuando los escaneas), y escoges la imagen que tenga el color de piel deseado, en este caso, la imagen de mario super sluggers, y la de mario party 8, y empiezas a copiar la piel, pero de una forma en que se vea bien, y lo pegas abajo del dibujo en blanco,y asi todos los colores, se agrega la sustancia x , neeee!, se le pone sombra, y por ultimo los detalles, ya sabes, la orilla, de la imagen que se vea bien, y listo!!, lo malo, es que las imagenes se deforman si las pasas de paint, a JPEG, y listo, asi la hice!!, pero si te llevas varios dias en hacer una imagen asi! Oye y verdad que no es Birdo, la de Captain Rainbow,es decir, Birdo, es mas alta que ese bicho del juego!, ademas, que Birdo no tiene voz humana!, ella solo dice cosas como Yoshi, y en el video, el bicho tiene voz de hombre, ademas que ni se parecen, claramente, ese bicho, es una copia chafa y tonta! de Birdo, yo creo que solo pusieron a ese bicho como broma, pero no, nada que ver con Birdo!! , mmmm, me podrias traducir lo siguiente, para ursulaboy, para contestarle, y que no le queden ganas de decirle cosas a Birdo, es que el traductor que siempre utilizaba, se descompuso, y la pagina volovera a funcionar en varios dias, bueno porfavor si?
