Costume Mario

May I ask why you undid a wiki staff member's edit, as an anonymous user, without any explanation? As stated in his summary, we do not cover mods or hacks; otherwise we'd include every form of modification to any game into their articles. Mario JC 06:15, 30 December 2016 (EST)

Oh, it's not really a modification, it's more about my file discoveries. It's very easy to assign amiibo to a costume, or even a DLC event costume due to how the game is set up. memoryman3

The information about Daisy Circuit's soundtrack has nothing to do with Daisy herself and, despite how many games she has appeared in, Daisy has not yet reached the level of "major character" in the franchise. Daisy's role in Super Mario Land was one of her most MINOR roles. In fact, tell me if Daisy, in the games she was in, had a lesser role than Mario or Peach? Also, she is listed before the generic enemies and side characters in Nintendo's NFP tag list.

Also, Daisy Circuit's theme is exclusive to said character, unlile Mario, Luigi or Yoshi Circuit, which share a theme. Please stop being so anti Daisy.

No, you're right, Daisy doesn't have lesser roles than Mario or Peach in most of those games, it's just that those games are from spin-off Mario series such as Mario Kart or Mario Party. Hey, I like Daisy as much as the next guy. Believe me, I want her to show up in more mainstream games.

But that's not the point. The point is, you continued to add information that was removed from her article. She has yet to take on a major role in a mainstream game, other than her appearance in Super Mario Land. And while Daisy Circuit may be exclusive to Daisy, the theme is exclusive to Daisy Circuit. Sure, Daisy's popularity is rising, but until she appears in a main Mario game, her role is of a supporting character.

Even if Daisy DOES appear in a mainstream game, she has to have big roles consistently, and up to the leagues of Mario, Peach, Luigi, Yoshi, Toad, and Bowser, and arguably Wario and Donkey Kong. We never said that it has anything to do with how many times a character gets kidnapped! All we are saying is that she has not yet appeared in enough major Mario series games to be considered a major character, and that you shouldn't add the information unless she appears in more major Mario games. --TheFlameChomp (talk) 18:08, 15 February 2017 (EST)

I can see somethings Memoryman3 is talking about, but going as far as saying the music is themed after Daisy, that is something users will need to hear before accepting. And if they don't hear it, they will remove it. I will need to hear it again to see whether or not it is based on Daisy. Until then I say it is not. Memoryman3 is a Daisy fan, so much that very rarely his comments aren't about Daisy, even in non-related to Daisy videos. For me, I tend to overlook Daisy, yet count her towards a major character that hasn't appeared in the main line series (or even Smash as he commonly points out) other than Super Mario Land. Agreed. This should not turn into an argument about Daisy. Saying Daisy is a major character is not a confirmed fact and is more of a matter of opinion. Therefore, the reversion of the edit is justified.

Shy Guy Bazaar Trivia

Where did you hear/see that Shy Guy Bazaar was originally planned for DLC in Mario Kart 8? I never heard about this before and I just want to know if you have any proof of that being true. LuigiMaster123 (talk) 20:01, 8 July 2017 (EDT)

If you look at the AI Course Table file in version 2.0 of the game specifically, you will see D3ds_SandTown (The internal name for the track). It was deleted in version 3.0 onwards though. memoryman3

Mario Tennis Aces

This response didn't answer my question. What is the source of the information, and can you link to something that isn't a file? The only results I'm finding for GEO Online Bag are online shopping stuff for hand bags. Along with Koopa Troopa being removed, it's seeming like this may be fake. Okay, so, it is official. I just found the actual pre-order site myself. Honestly can't say if it confirms any playable characters or not, but it might be worth noting that Japanese players can get a sports bag upon pre-order in trivia or something. If the characters are actually officially confirmed, we can say that Birdo, Diddy, and Paratroopa were first shown on said sports bag leak. Never mind. At some point you'll have to realize that you can't get a single soul to agree with what you are saying and what you are doing. All you have done is continually attempt to push your agenda onto our wikis with complete disregard for their rules, blindly convinced that you have the answers when you simply don't. What you have I believe to be nothing short of a clinical obsession, so let me make this one thing very clear:

You need help. Professional help.

I don't mean this to come off as a personal attack, I have seen this behavior in people before and they end up demonstrating it in far more destructive ways than on an online media outlet. These obsessions, the lengths you are willing to go through to fulfill them, can land you in serious trouble.

Daisy Blossom

The reason no-one's accepting Daisy Blossom as a separate article is because it's literally just a palette swap of Peach Blossom with aesthetic changes specific to Daisy. If you still disagree, you will need to provide an argument more convincing than "different, therefore separate article". ^(T|C) 12:20, October 19, 2019 (EDT)

It was split on Smash Wiki already for multiple reasons. For one it has a different name, and looks different, with multiple key visual details also being different. It's also on a different character, and wasn't present before Smash Bros. Ultimate. We also never had any moves with different names merged into one article before. Okay Heart Ball and Flower Ball are completely different in Super Sluggers. But that still doesn't lessen the fact that Daisy's moves are the only moves with different names and appearances (both in games and visually) that share pages. Toad and Vegetable can share pages since they have the same names, and I don't know about whether Daisy Parasol should get it's own page or not. But I think Bomber and Blossom should get their own pages because of game specific elements and having some differences.--Memoryman3 (talk) 13:42, October 19, 2019 (EDT)

Well, aside from that and an expression/quote change....none. But that is not my point. We could say that Mario's Mario Finale and Doctor Mario's Doctor Finale should be merged for this reason, since Dr Mario's move is almost the same except the fireballs are replaced with megavitamins that deal a bit more damage and travel a bit slower. What you did here is unacceptable: setting up a proposal in such a way that you would get your desired outcome no matter what is already contemptible; that you added that clause after the proposal started and multiple users had already voted for your less-favoured option makes it worse, and that after Doc pointed out it lacked a mandatory "Do Nothing" option, you only added the header and left the votes in the previous one even though they clearly should have been defaulted to the Do Nothing Option is pouring piss-stained, flea-ridden pig shit on the open wound.

What's making me escalate this to a last warning, though, is that after both discussions you started proved to be unfavourable to your proposed change, you went "well you're all wrong and I'm doing it anyway lol"" even though your effor tto split that page had already been reverted (by an admin at that) and the community concensus was overwhelmingly against spliting Daisy Blossom. I am sorry about that, but I just can't help but think the arguments against splitting the pages are fueled by a vendetta against my Daisy devotion. Many similar pages have been split for reasons less justifiable than Daisy's moves, yet no one is challenging their presence.
