"Paper Mario: The peace has gone" is relased
It's a game made by me as a story. Featuring both Mario & Luigi in the same time. Some of the story will be posted every LONG while.

RE: SM64DS maps
Hi. Your wondering how I got the maps? Well, I ripped files from the game's data for fun at first, but then I saw all these maps for the courses in one of the folders. I got them all together, sized them all at 128x128 and touched them up with GIMP. That's how I got them. The game uses these maps on a larger scale to display what you see in gameplay. For example, the map on the bottom screen on the right is merely a more pixelated image than the map on the left. I haven't obtained all of the maps yet - it's a step by step process.
- I don't remember if the maps were a .bmd extension.
- Also, may I please request that you don't try and obtain the remaining maps. This project has taken me weeks upon weeks of hard work and I just want to upload them myself. Thanks for your understanding.

I'll tell you. There are many programs that I have which allow you to rip SM64DS maps. Probably the most simple I find to use is the DeSmuME emu. I'm not allowed to link to such programs here but I'm sure you can find it. Here's a screenshot of the program in map view, showing the map of Bob-omb Battlefield.
You see, the maps aren't perfect in a raw game rip, especially around the borders. I touched them up a bit before upload.

But please, why didn't you respect my request and not listen to me when I said "May I please request that you don't try and obtain the remaining maps. What happen was, I was just putting the finishing touches on the Castle floors and Jolly Roger Bay ship on my computer, and I was planning to upload them tomorrow. But I woke up this morning and found that you've gone ahead and stole my idea, and you already uploaded the maps. That's what I got annoyed about. So I just finished off my version of the maps and re-uploaded your versions, including Jolly Roger Bay since mine was better quality. But anyway, we'll see what decision the TPP makes and that should sort it out.

Artwork Jpg
Don't replace some JPEG artworks with PNGs, though it's true that Png has higher quailty, but there an exception to some good JPGs, also those artwork were originally Jpg as stated in this proposal "If the artworks are JPEGs, upload them as JPEGs."

Re:You removed my images!
If you read the proposal I linked to in all my deletion logs, turning jpgs into pngs doesn't actually increase the quality (it's the same image either way), and adding transparency actually lowers the quality (and not just against coloured backgrounds: even against white backgrounds, there's a difference). I actually downloaded all the images you uploaded and checked them out with GIMP to confirm that I wasn't getting rid of the better copies before I started deleting. And, what determines the "better" copy is the quality, not the format of the image: usually pngs are more ideal, but not when they're simply cut from jpgs. I know you were just trying to help, but I'm afraid there really is no benefit to taking jpgs and turning them into pngs, even if you leave out the transparency. - While the pngs do look better in thumbnails, they also eat up more memory, cause issues when the replaced jpgs are widely used (images aren't given redirects), and might make people think they're getting png-level quality images (i.e. to use for their own artwork, or whatever) when they're just reformatted jpgs. I still feel like if the images are going to be replaced, it'd be better if actual pngs could be procured, but you could try asking users who specialize in image stuff for more opinions. M&SG was the one who made the old proposal, so he'd be worth talking to, and maybe Coincollector too.

- Also, whatever customization you're doing to this page is seriously messing with the basic wiki formatting, so you really ought to fix that (i.e. the sidebar needs to be up at the top, and you can't get rid of section editing). Also, the orange box at the top is too similar to a new messages alert, so please change the colours, at the very least.

Image transparency
Giving transparency to those images you uploaded has made the outline of the artworks rough. Compare the original .jpg with the modified .png. Personally, I don't think it was the best move.
- Look closely at the outlines;
- File:Goombella – original .jpg vs. modified .png
- File:Goombella2 – original .jpg vs. Modified .png
- File:Yoshikid – original .jpg vs. modified .png
- I'm sorry if I interrupted your work, but I strongly suggest that you stop uploading these modified images.

PNG vs JPG
Looking at the pictures they're basically the same. The only differences are that PNG pics can have alpha and are heavier than JPGs. It's recommended to leave JPG images alone if its PNG counterpart has no significant differences, and no matter the quality it becomes when thumbnailed in your case of the JPG pic. The quality distortion only affects when compressing the image but the original size of it keeps its quality. Additionally, sometimes PNG replacements are actually JPG pics that users took and without concern edited the picture in some way, usually to make the picture with alpha. Users shouldn't do this and avoid to edit any official art, as any edited art by them can show the user's bad work over it, making it object for deletion. As said, the most common is making pics with alpha, that is removing the white backrogund and give transparenccy to overlapping colors over the images. As most of the users aren't real experts editing pics, we test the quality of PNG pics placing them in a table with black background. This way tell us if the PNG shows user-made edits, that usually leave awful patches of white and noise in the backgroun, and therefore deleting or replacing it.
Your replacement seem to be clean which is good, but unneeded, because the JPG shows no problems, has the same size and visual quality and is less heavier than its PNG counterpart, despite PNG has at least a color removed.

Hi. I assure you that I'm well aware of the guidelines outlined in the userspace policy. The two user subpages of mine that you mentioned, they both are allowed. User:YoshiKong/Template:Swear is a draft for a template, and thus is a page which serves the wiki. The proposal you mentioned wasn't specifically for that particular template - it was just mentioned in the comments. So it is not true that the template failed a proposal. Also my other template User:YoshiKong/Youtube has been discussed before on the forums, starting from this post. Other admins agreed that it was fine for me to have that template as a subpage. I hope this clears things up.
