RE: The Shroom

Ah, hello there! First off, it's great to see that you have interest in The 'Shroom. So you'd like to write a section in Fake News like the old Ask Tucayo, Ask 3K, or Dear Anton sections? Well, we'd certainly welcome that!

The first step for any potential 'Shroom writer is sending in an application. You can find the requirements for the application right here, in the big red box on our sign-up page. When you have an application prepared, you send it into our Statistics Manager through whatever private means you choose. Do you have a forum account? You don't have to make an account there, but it will make everything easier.

You'll be in a special case, since you can't write your section if you don't have some questions to answer! I'd say there are two options here. If you make a forum account, you could make a thread in the "Fan Creations" board where you could ask people to submit questions for you to answer in your section (just make sure it's clear it's for your section - otherwise it would go in the "Ask Board". Or, if you would prefer, I could come up with a few questions for you to use for your first application (though, in the long-term, having a place for people to submit questions on the forum would be better for you).

Of course, we're happy to provide any help you need getting your section written and your application sent in. Please let me know if you need any further help at all!

Hi once again, Maximumriley. I just wanted to clarify this with you. I take it you aren't interested or are unable to sign up for the forum? If so, that's fine. I have your email address now, and I can send you some questions to help your section start. Can I ask one more thing so I can send you helpful questions? Do you want these to be serious questions, silly questions, or "in-universe" questions (ones written as if they were from the perspective of someone in Mario's world)? Also, you can do what you feel is best and what you feel comfortable with, of course, but I would recommend being cautious when posting your email publicly. Anyone can view talk pages on the wiki, so just be sure you're careful. Whenever you leave a comment, use ~~~~ or {{User|Maximumriley}} to indicate that it is you who has made the comment. Regarding File:AskCappyTitle.png and File:Mario and Sonic Running through Green Hill Zone.png, if you are planning on using these images specifically for your user page, replace their content with {{personal-image|Maximumriley}}. Additionally, if the image you want to use is already uploaded, you don't need to upload it again. 10:38, March 13, 2021 (EST)
