Spacing around 「」

Hi. You seem to be oscillating between adding and removing the spaces around the Japanese quotation marks (「 and 」). I understand that in most Japanese fonts, the glyphs for the quotation marks have enough space to set them off from the English surroundings, but this is not true for all Japanese fonts available on Windows 10:

Regarding the New Super Mario Bros U edit you reverted…watch the ending of New Super Mario Bros U again. Bowser Jr is visibly continuously struggling to lift everyone the entire time holding on to Bowser’s hands, while Bowser’s feet try to latch onto the bottom of the clown car. Knowing physics, it’s not the clown car doing the heavy lifting. As for the mechanical claw, it’s quite clear Bowser Jr controls it as he is literally the only one who ever does and even made an upgrade to his clown car containing a version of it in his special move for Mario Tennis Aces. May you please revert the page back?

Just because he's the only one we see using it, that doesn't mean we should assume he's the only one who does at all. The fact is we can't see who was controlling it in the intro, and we shouldn't note who it was if we don't know for sure. Regarding the ending, your point makes no sense: watch it again and you can see Bowser's hands are clearly holding onto the rim of the car (motionless, while Jr. is moving his); you're taking physics into account in a make-believe game, let alone a Nintendo game; and even going by your logic and taking it into account, there's absolutely no way Jr. would be able to practically carry them all with just his arms (which would be far less plausible than the car being able to carry them all), and it's more like he's visibly struggling from the weight added to the car. Either way, such details don't need to be noted in the Story section. Also, you should be logged into your WickedBowserJr (talk) account when you're editing. Hi again, I was wondering some things that can be translated. So can you check the volume 31 scans to see if the Rocky Wrench looking creature is actually a Rocky Wrench? Can you also see if the Monty Moles are mentioned to work or are made from Bowser Jr., or if the Noki Bay one is said to be the same as the Pinna Park one? Finally for Super Mario-kun translations, can you tell me the name for the Monty Mole miners in Volume 44 (alongside the Buzzy Beatle leader if you need to). Thanks for the feedback, I did want to do some things to clear up confusion. So would the ”Mogera Kong” be a Rocky Wrench since they look similar or just a different species of mole not related to them? Second, the Monty Mole miners name is literally said on the scan I used for their page see for yourself. If you still don’t see it, it was in page 107. Im not being harsh here or anything I just wanted to let you know. And finally, the scan of the Super Mario Land 2 guidebook I wanted to show you is right here on the side so you don’t have to use a link that doesn’t work. Thanks again for the info but I wanted to make a thing clear. I believe those text boxes are meant to show the name of the characters and not just them shouting their names. It happed before with Monty Moles in volumes 1 and 31, and Rocky Wrench in volume 30 and maybe 45. The writers probably did it to help introduce these characters much easier (since the target demographic is mainly children). Either way I think the name said should be used as the name for the page at least. Also for the Mogera Kong page can you give the not translated name for when I add it and. Should the girl Rocky Wrench or AKG48 get there own page? What was the name of the mole festival? What is the name of the Girl Monty Mole? What is the name of the Whack-A-Mole thing that had the Monty Moles whacking Mario. What is the name of those knight Monty Moles that have the armor seen (I think they are mentioned in pages 59-60) and can you also say the full quote for it as well? Did the Monty Mole with the glasses that gave Luigi stuff have a name, and should they get their own page? Was this mole festival ever mentioned to take place in 5-4? I did have two more questions for a previous volume. Did the Monty Mole shop in volume 17 ever say where the jewelry came from, or was a king ever mentioned since a crown was there? And finally, what was that drink the Monty Mole gave Mario in volume 17? Those are all my questions and I hope all of this can get translated. So should Pūko be both a Monty Mole and Rocky Wrench since they took a appearance of a Rocky Wrench in the first chapter, but they clearly look like a Monty Mole in the Mole Festival chapter? The knight Monty Moles I think were mentioned when Pūko told Mario to put on the knight armor (Which is the page before Mario has the knight armor) so the info is most likely in those 2 pages. I added some volume 54 scans so here are my questions. What is the name for the Monty Mole mother. What did the sign from page 128 say? What is the name for the Monty Mole children. About the Oshibo I misspelled it on MontyMoleLore's talk page: I meant "Oseibo", the packed lunch that is usually offered to the dead, but it's also used like a normal Bento.

About the "liberties", it's for the full context of their dialogue: Mario menace to squash the Piranha Plant, but the Plant has clearly the upper hand, uses his word against him and, to add insult to injury, also sprays him with a bug spray. It's more an adaptation than a translation, basically.

About "Hinote", that's just my fault: I normally use a site to copy-paste a scanned word. The first time I checked (when I used a scan of the entire page) "Hinote" (Fire Hand) is what came out and I used that Romanization on the volume page. Then, when I rechecked to copy-paste the word in Japanese letters (this time using just the panel) on the transformation page, it translated as "Fireball", but I thought it was a second translation, I didn't consider the possibility that the first time the site didn't fully get the last letter (which it was very similar to the actual last letter, so I wasn't doubtful), so I used the wrong Romanization. Ops: Once again, a similar mistake to "Hinote Mario": you know the little Japanese letters above the main letters of a word? The aforementioned site I use, read those too, this time around, since the page was big enough to let the site read those too. ちかたい (Chikatai) are the little letters above 地下部隊 (see here). "Small" as translation, came up while comparing the full name on the different translation sites, it was the best result my research offered. Chitei Kaijū Indī

Hey uh, you named the Chitei Kaijū Indī into Chitei Kaijū Indy. Indī is the raw Japanese name for Mega Mole while Indy is the English term. I believe the page should be reverted back to Chitei Kaijū Indī due to it being fully raw Japanese (and for most manga Monty Moles we use Choropū anyways, not Choropoo). Technical fit system in WarioWare: Get It Together?

If you want, you could add a technical fit system to microgames and boss stages in WarioWare: Get It Together. So you add a technical fit system, use characters for microgames and rank them on the technical system. It’s optional but would be recommended I think.

Edit: Technical fit system is where you play as characters in microgames and rate them on the fit system, like for example you would probably make Orbulon one of the best fit in Spiky Wario because he can suck up the creatures.

They're being removed because you're mostly adding poorly written and unnecessary information, some of which is just added haphazardly into paragraphs without connecting it with the rest of the article well so it makes sense. If you can try to present your information with proper grammar, then maybe it can stay, but otherwise users are likely just going to remove it if it can't be understood. Dwhitney (talk) stated as such in a recent edit, and I must say, I've never really noticed (if that's true), just that the wiki has generally been inconsistent about it. Question: why format it that way in the first place? It makes more grammatical sense to me to add quotation marks outside italics. For instance, doing it this way makes it much more clearer when quotation marks are already part of a quote, making it a visual indicator that they are not part of the original quote, and also makes it more aesthetically appropriate when said quotation marks are at the beginning or end of an italicized quote. I don't think there's a hard policy on it, but my impression was always that adding quotation marks inside italics was a mistake that caught on from much copy-pasting or some imperfect editing tools. The "General rules" section says:

In addition to romanization, kanji can be phonetically rendered using <span class=explain title="HIRAGANA">KANJI</span> (insert the kanji and hiragana where indicated; do not use katakana for this purpose).

Does that mean we have to spell katakana words in hiragana too if they occur as kanji readings (e.g. ページ as the reading of 頁, ギャラクシー as the reading of 銀河)?

My opinion is that we should faithfully reproduce the furigana in the original text. If the original text does not contain furigana, then simply indicate the reading in the romaji. This allows us to distinguish "ゴツゴツ山 (Gotsugotsu-yama)", where we have conjectured the reading, from "ゴツゴツ山 (Gotsugotsu-yama)", where the reading is in the original text and therefore "official".

Recent ban due to Cappy Throw account

Hello, Regarding the recent ban of CaptainCappy, Cappy Throw is in fact my sibling, who moved out over a year ago. I was poking around a bit, and it seems he was rather rude. However, I am not him and am simply his younger sibling. I emailed the mwikisysop thingy but I haven't heard back yet. While poking around to see stuff about Cappy Throw I stumbled upon something that said "Resorted to offensive language via email" for March 1st? I can't remember when I sent the email, but it wasn't offensive, and I am not Cappy Throw. Here is the email, directly copy-pasted: Hello, I am sorry but I believe we have entered a misunderstanding. CappyCapture is not me but my sibling. To be quite honest, the person behind CappyCapture has moved out entirely. I completely understand where the ban came from and have no hard feelings, as I see how easy and obvious of a mistake this is to make. Especially with how rude he was - I didn't realize until I was fumbling around for a contact address and spotted his comments on Mario JC's page. However I and CappyCapture are not one. I request unbannishment? It would be much appreciated. Sincerest apologies for the mixup. CaptainCappy Is this offensive in some way? I worked hard to keep it not offensive. Web Page Inaccessible

Bug Fables

Things I don't understand about tour pages of Mario Kart Tour

I can't explain much, but what does it mean for something to be noteworthy (e.g. This is the first tour to include R/T variants since ...)? Why should they be removed if there are too many of it while not having a page that listed those? People just want to use that for referencing or might be curious. Why did you remove Charles Martinet doing the Doh I Missed line? Charles did confirm 2 years ago that it was actually him who said the line. I think he originally recorded the line and ended up in the Japanese version of Mario Kart 64. When the line appeared in Mario Party, the line was lower pitched.

Larry Koopa trivia edit

Heya, so you reverted my edit about the Super Mario World German guide that let users know it is not a canonically accurate source (since Lemmy was stated to be youngest in the same source when Larry is canonically the youngest) for being an informal/unnecessary comment. Thing is, when it comes to people, I think it is very important to let them know what sources are canon and which ones are not. Yeah, that can and should be documented for history on the character (although let me tell ya, so many of his quotes in the games are different, and better in Japan, causing me to be against putting certain quotes on the forefront of his page, but I don't feel like talking that through for now since it's a lot if I gave the wiki that to take in and I had less than stellar experience trying to communicate my thoughts last time, so I'll talk about that later when I have the time to do so... but this isn't about Larry's quote accuracy and inaccuracy) but the problem I have is that people may come to it and assume that Iggy is CANONICALLY Larry's role model, and while I like the idea and find it very funny (since Iggy is the most irresponsible of Larry's older siblings) this may lead someone who looks into the source to also think that Lemmy is canonically the youngest when he is not the youngest, because Larry is. I just kinda don't want a MARIO wiki to give people fuel to argue things that are blatantly incorrect just because they found something that fits their bias if that makes sense.

I hope we can discuss this peacefully and civilly (that may influence how soon I'll bring up Larry's Japanese quotes on this wiki since if people get upset with me for certain edits, I don't wanna argue when it's the large amount that I've gathered) but, uh, enough rambling (sorry in advance for the rambling) now to the question. Why do you consider it "unnecessary" to tell people that the German guidebook that claims Iggy to be Larry's role model is not canon accurate? And also sorry that I just kinda type informally, I don't know how to type formally, so if we DO end up agreeing, I'm not sure I can rely on myself to type something more formal.

Mushrooms

Forgive me for being late.

  • The reason I changed the Kinoko mark to TEMP mushroom in the template is that, as I explained in the summary of my edit, I considered it more of a ground demarcation (like the Dash Panels in Mario Kart) than an actual mushroom. There also the fact that the TEMP mushroom and the Kinoko mark share the same article, so I chose to reference the latter. I guess I could make a separate article for the TEMP mushroom, but the two are quite similar so I don't know.
  • For the capital M in "mushroom", for me when something uses a capital letter other than the first letter at the beginning of a sentence it is to indicate that it's something official or recognized, like the name of a road or a place for example. So for me it was more like "a" 2 UP mushroom and not "the" 2 UP Mushroom, until Nintendo decided. I'm sorry if it's not very clear, but I hope you understand what I mean. Anyway, if you think everything is fine, should I change the filename of the sprite I uploaded from "TEMP_mushroom.png" to "TEMP_Mushroom.png"? DKC SFX

This is hard to explain in detail, but what I can explain is that sometimes when the player goes to the Tanked Up Trouble, the tank plataform have different sounds when the game starts again. It's the same with the Steel Keg sound in snow levels.

In Peak Precision, if a player presses the wrong button, he or she falls back vertically a handhold, meaning two buttons must be pressed to return to said handhold. Exactly that, just standardizing the name and given that we have had a lot of cases of having to go back and change the name of some tours in as many appearances in the wiki as there are and every time I find one or two important cases that we either miss or no one took over to change. For the page Half-pipe (object) I think we should make a section that lists the courses with half-pipes and remove the courses from the individual games sections in order to make the courses the info quicker to access as well as be consistant with underwater driving and anti-gravity. Paper Mario: The Origami King - item location pages.

Hi. So, 2 years ago I said that I would help with anything RPG related, but life got in the way and I never got to it.

Fortunately, I can finally play The Origami King for myself. I decided to do pages for the locations of items from PM:TOK, more specifically Hidden Blocks (to create from scratch), Not-Bottomless Holes (the page is a mess, so I would salvage everything useful and started anew) and Collectible Treasures (The section in the Musée Champignon only lists how they look like, description and the area where they can be found, but only the general.The page I want to create would show where exactly to find them and what do to get them). I would have done Hidden Toads too, but fortunately, the page is already done and it's perfect (kudos to whoever did it)

Basically, I would do pages to resemble the ones like Item Patch from Paper Jam or Beanholes from Partners in Time and so on. So info where it is, how to get it and picture(s) next to it.

An information template for the Sparks in M+R SOH (mainly for the ones used in battle) has been created with the purpose of having their information transcluded to their individual pages, as it would for enemy articles from other bestiaries here. Use of parts of images in different formats

I've seen several people get a reminder or a warning over files' extension changes. I've been for a long time (including recently with all the Nintendo Power issue images) cropping .jpg files (such as Nintendo Power scans, all of them were scanned in .jpg) to only include relevant to the article information. These cropped images were saved as .png, a preferred format of the screenshotting software I use, and then uploaded to the wiki (earliest examples I could find are File:Paddle Alleyway Cover Art.png and File:Ace_investigative_reporter.png). Film premiere

As you know, yesterday was the red carpet premiere of the Super Mario Bros. Movie. Barring any Gettyimages photos (which have those eyesore watermarks), should we include a section containing photos of the red carpet and the cast and crew involved? This is gonna take some serious consideration, but I have some screenshots of the premiere already. But maybe there are some better quality photos some users here can upload.

Hi Mario jc - you reverted my deletion request for MKHW Kart Series21.jpg because you said I can reupload over it by clicking on "Upload a new version" under File History. Except I don't have that. Instead I see "You cannot overwrite this file", which is weird since I'm the one who originally uploaded it.

I'm new to the Mario Wiki and only signed up a couple of weeks ago so maybe it has something to do with that? Anyway, hoping for some guidance. Thanks!

Do you either slash the vote with "<s>" or do you straight up remove the entire vote? The way I see it, the first section is essentially the "subsection" (which tend to not be spaced) of the introduction. I mean, sure, by itself it doesn't change much, but these things do add up. NSMB reference removal on The Super Mario Bros. Movie

Original reference:

  • New Super Mario Bros.: A Koopa Troopa is transformed into a Dry Bones after his flesh is incinerated by Bowser's fire breath, which is reminiscent of Bowser's transformation into Dry Bowser after being dropped into lava.

Referring to your edit summary, unless I'm missing something, I'm not really sure if characters specifically being transformed into living skeletons is a common trope both in Mario games and in media in general. Additionally, Dry Bones being the basis for Dry Bowser and the heat/fire used to create Dry Bones seems to further connect NSMB and its potential movie reference.

On Elevator (Nintendo Land) redirect

The reason I wanted Elevator (Nintendo Land) redirect to be removed is that there are two different types of elevators in Donkey Kong's Crash Course, both generically referred to as "elevators" by Prima (and possibly Nintendo Power too, we don't know exactly which type they were referring to), but luckily both have other names, so it's not a big deal. One is Automated elevator, and the other one is Breath-powered elevator, which doesn't have a page yet. Shady Koopas vs. Underground Koopas

So I see you don't agree with my long-realized observation for the Shady Koopas. This is going to be awkward to explain especially as I am really not into such topics especially I wasn't going to bother let alone plan to discuss this with my time taken away. But looking back at the Gloombas, their coloration are not even that exact sure more closely from the SMB underground Goomba colors but if anything they are more dark and navy-like with a small hint of turquoise than a slightly bright teal (like a dark cyan basically say Ludwig's teal palette from the original SMB3) but with different saturation of grey that makes it resemble it in some ways vice versa, I'm aware the stem of the underground SMB Goomba and the Gloomba too adding another connection but that kind of also applies with the Shady Koopa who has a unique color shade on the rim of it's shell unlike most general Koopa Troopa species even if it's a brighter light-blue (which consistently and closely matches the SMB underground Goomba and Gloombas stem color more, which doesn't work in the original SMB due to the limitations of the original SMB underground and castle levels sprites and objects being affected for the green palette within those levels unnaturally) and not a "beige" color (though, that would look a bit odd next to their pale dark skin color and almost blend in too), both the Gloomba and Shady Koopa's "rim" color doesn't match the color to the eyes in PM: TTYD unlike the SMB 8-bit limitations of the NES hardware which their rims and eyes have to match their eye colors in the latter game) and even though Goombas in early Paper Mario games have red feet very much like in SMW2: Yoshi's Island (which their core design in that game is based on minus the yellow stem), the Gloombas also get that same exact color, not even something like magenta from the underground Goombas from the Super Mario All-Star version of SMB eve if it's a slight hue difference you can overlook which is generally off from the original SMB underground Goomba colors too. Please tell me? What other game has a Koopa with dark skin with some form of a blue-type hued shell that compares to the SMB Underground Koopas? I know it's more obvious that Gloombas with the fact that they are only found in underground areas, except in Super Paper Mario where they are also found in the Castle Bleck Foyer which fit the dark area of the overall chapter and level and looks like an underground area (may not be but just a general dark overworld) too though they could've used the Headbonk Goombas from the Flipside Pit of a 100 Trails (ironically the Headbonk Goombas despite being SMB Castle colored aren't in any castle level in SPM) colored more closely as they resemble the SMB Grey/Castle Goombas closely (minus the red feet color like the classic "PM" Goombas core design) and that chapter is monochrome like the SMB Castle levels (even taking some ideas from those said game's levels like the platform puzzles from two of the castle stages) mostly but more so in Castle Bleck for it's environment and some of the exclusive enemy variants) to add that evidence and while Shady Koopas (with a flying variant too which "underground colored" green Koopa Paratroopas also appear in castles in the original SMB) are found as enemies once in Glitzville besides NPCs, they are also found underground too in the Pit of a 100 Trails somewhat more commonly even if the same can be said for other exclusive recolored enemy variants in the game. Even if they gave the Shady Koopas darker skin like more closely to those of the SMB underground Koopas in the original, it would've blended in with their "evil designed" spiked collars and sunglasses a bit much especially how complex the general Koopa Troopa design is compared to a basic Goomba design. Just like how the Orange Toads in overalls in PM: TTYD are dark skinned but not too dark to the point you can't see their black dotted eyes and mouth blending in the cartoony artstyle especially within the games vibrant colored artstyle on the NPCs and just some parts of the game's overall environments. I know this is like decades later from PM: TTYD but even the light-blue Piranha Plant alternate color in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate vaguely looks like the underground Piranha Plants from Super Mario Bros. which can be argued to just be a coincidence with it being a more vibrant color from it yet it is the only other palette with the classic SMB yellow stem that matches the SMB green Piranha Plants color swap despite the underground ones being brown in the original SMB due to limitations with the game's NES hardware. No other blue Piranha Plant, generic or a variant as far as I know has a yellow or brown stem like those SMB underground castle colored Piranha plants from said game. You can respectfully disagree with me all you want. But I've pretty said my complex points here no matter if you deny it or not. Even if I am going over this because of a silly recolor comparison. Despite early Paper Mario games referencing old game palettes for some enemies. I hope you have a good day. EDIT: I also want to add a bit more that "Shady" is another word for dark like "gloom" is too which add a connection between the two with their resemblance to the SMB underground palette of the original species, I know there is Dark Koopas but they are simply Koopas with purple wear visually. I am saying all of this from the fact I don't agaknowlaged the Frost Piranha resembling the SMB Underground Piranha Plants' palette even from their design changes throughout the first three Paper Mario games especially if they use the modern core green stem (besides TTYD), unless they have the yellow/brown stem that was used for the old base design but otherwise they can look like any blue Piranha Plant. I didn't want to make a wall of text in fact, I had a lot of thought of making it before I took the time to reply to you, I couldn't make it short enough in execution it was hard to make it simply easy to read or specifically easy to understand without sounding too vague as well. Sure I could've done a paragraph for each sentence but I would be filling up a void on your talk page (and likely cause some loading problems for other visitors) even if I made separate messages with each paragraph that would be too much. I've actually been intentionally ignored before even when I waited for weeks for other people's response without rushing them or anything even when it wasn't my fault, therefore betraying me in my past.

I am a small artist in a few ways, not like a mastermind I can say, but I am very careful with how I handle color design really well so it contrasts fine. I did try to make Shady Koopas look like the underground based palettes from the SMB Underground/Castle Koopa Troopas by not making it too dark either to show what I am talking about the contrast between the accessories along with lighting and saturation but in contrast (which matters) too. It almost kind of blends a little bit [2].

like I said before, if the orange sailor Toads from TTYD (and surprisingly the Toads in The Super Mario Bros Movie as seen in the council meeting, with dark skin even distinctively in the same lighting area) were too dark it would've blended within their faces that you can't see very much, which I didn't even use that as a reference when doing the Shady Koopa edits it's not just the character/design but also the environment they appear in too [3] [4]; and I know the latter shows it's skin almost blending in with the background of the Pit of a 100 Trails but at least it has a darker outline and the blue coloring to make it not blend in way too much, also noticing the 2.5D like plain on the brown foreground if the Shady Koopa was as brown as the SMB Underground/Castle colors at least almost.

I see the comparisons, The issue I'm seeing is that the Gloombas while slightly more obvious by a slight hue (and almost especially the SMAS versions in the SMB1 and SMBTLL version) still looks too dark and more navy/blue than the more teal (or dark cyan) bright or vibrant SMB Underground Goombas even if the said 8-bit colors vary slightly on a different screen. You can pretty much argue with many others and anyone else can easily pass it off as a coincidence just because they aren't entirely the same color as say the helmet-less Bone Goombas from NSMB2 or the Underground Goombas from Piranha Plant Slide in Mario Kart 7. EDIT: You say that the SSBU light-blue palette for Piranha Plant is simply the closest to the underground/castle palette of said creature from underground in SMB despite just being vibrant and also lacking yellow spots (which would be brown underground in-game of SMB) but can hardly see it for Shady Koopa just because his dark skin isn't perfectly dark brown enough (which is already a color limitation anyway) and especially having their shell be about as vibrant as the light-blue Piranha Plant from SSBU, I got to be honest but that sounds kind of hypocritical and rather unfair too even if those two subjects came out in the respective game's far from each other in decades.

I also realized that there is Dark Lakitu, while they have darker skin than the average Lakitu is simply just darker yellow/gold, not brown, has a slightly dull or dirty looking cloud and also lacks some form of a blue shell especially like the Underground Lakitus from SMBLL. Which is also why I left Dark Lakitu and most especially Frost Piranha alone. Shady Koopa was the closest that resembled the SMB underground/castle enemy palettes at the very least, which I am not saying is factually where they got it from (and let's be real nowadays will never get an answer of that) just slightly resemble or similar. --KingGeoshiKoopshi64 (talk) 00:44, May 17, 2023 (EDT)

False items in drivers

Because the Daisy Mii Suit gets triple bananas instead of hearts, there is a syndrome called "False item" syndrome: it means that drivers receive those items that are not logical to the power ups in the main games

Mario Kart: Super Circuit SM64 Castle Cover design on the original GBA Peach's Castle

Can I please ask how you seriously cannot see that Peach's Castle in the background of the original GBA Peach Circuit (and in Mario Kart DS) clearly based lots of its liberties from the cover art design from Super Mario 64? I would agree with you if it was for say Peach's Castle in the toy world of Mario Party 3. But Peach's Castle in the cover art of SM64 and the older versions in GBA Peach Circuit both have four tall pillars surrounding the castle with very sharp cone-shaped roofs with stripes on them, each of the four pillars surrounding the castle itself has one silhouetted "window", has slightly flat cylinder-shaped pillar segments on each tower way below the "windows" and another one on each tower above the windows which is below the sharp roofs, a tall hexagonal roof part above the doorway with two interconnected rims stacked between each other below, flat colored doorway entrance, blank "stain glass" below the middle roof-tower. The only differences from the SM64 cover art design of Peach's Castle are the middle tower on the roof, the lack of flags, the surrounding tower pillars aren't too diagonal and the color. While I see the closer resemblance to Paper Mario design (coming from a big fan of that game) of the castle (which already has some inspiration to the cover art design of Peach's Castle anyway mixed with the in-game design of said castle in SM64) especially MKSC is made by Intelligent Systems which has a few Paper Mario (64) references, it lacks the Mushroom emblem on the front of the castle and the flags with the said emblem on them and other details besides the shape of the castle and the middle tower. Also, the course preview of the course in the Mushroom Cup shows its design clearly being more based on the SM64 cover art design complete with the middle tower, coloration, blank coin shaped emblem on the front of the castle and tall poles with red skinny flags on the tower roofs, etc. just with slight proportional differences. --KingGeoshiKoopshi64 (talk) 03:16, May 28, 2023 (EDT)
