The Maniacal Agent: This user joined the Super Mario Wiki as a n00b editor on May 27, 2018, in the effort to expand Toadette's page. This user has been an avid fan of the Mario franchise since he was in kindergarten, and he has been reading the Super Mario Wiki since 2016. The Maniacal Agent's mission to expand Toadette's page was partially successful, though most of his writing turned out to be flowery. Over the course of time, the Maniacal Agent's edits have improved in quality, while he became better at using various editing techniques. Having edited over 40 articles over 2,000 times and creating over a dozen of them as of now, MarioManiac1981, our beloved Maniacal Agent, has become a well-meaning, veteran editor with the intention of helping the collaborative database community of the multimedia franchise that millions, including himself, have come to love, thrive and flourish in a rapidly engaging pace.

Italics

Hello! Please remember to italicize game titles, which is done my placing two apostrophes on both sides of the name. For example, ''Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle'' becomes Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. Also keep in mind that the apostrophes need to be placed outside of link brackets (''[[Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle]]''). 12:59, 27 May 2018 (EDT)

Now I know how to italicize game titles. I was initially confused, because I thought that quotation marks were used instead of apostrophes. I've been reading the Super Mario Wiki's articles for 2 years (and I'm an avid fan and devotee to the Mario franchise), but I only decided to become a member 3 days ago, so I'm still new to the editing business and process. Toadette

Thanks for expanding Toadette's page with some missing information, but a majority of what you are adding appears to be irrelevant, repetitive, or outright fan-worship. The information about Toadette's powers boarders on her already established sections of her roles or from her personality and traits section, and the information on her friends and enemies may be excessive. Donkey Kong Adventure DLC

Hi. I'm just wondering if anyone is looking for more information regarding Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle's upcoming DLC, because I discovered that lagoon variants of Ziggies, Hoppers, and Smashers exist in the DLC story mode (via gameplay clips on YouTube), and that, a new enemy known as the Collector will appear in the DLC. Poltergust G-00

While the Poltergust G-00 looks good so far, I don't recall the name from anywhere. I probably missed a trailer of some kind. Where you got the name from should be used as a reference. 16:28, 30 November 2018 (EST)

To be honest, I haven't found a source, so far. I've first heard "Poltergust G-00" in the Luigi's Mansion 3 article, where Luigi1234 edited the first bullet point to say that, the "Poltergust G-00 does blah, blah, blah..." I've also come across the term on SmashWiki, where it is used as a redirect for Poltergust 5000; in one of the sentences, SmashWiki describes the Poltergust G-00 as being a renaming of Poltergust 5000, making me wonder if the Super Mario Wiki has already adopted the term. This Luigi1234 is who this issue should really be brought up with, because he says that, "they (possibly referring to Nintendo) revealed the name when Luigi's Final Smash was revealed." - MarioManiac1981 (talk) 30, November 2018, EDT

Pseudo strategy guide padding

Hello, thanks for your recent contributions, however as seen here with the phrase (...)lastly, Meta Knight's recovery is slightly better, although his dash attack and down throw lose their combo ability. specifically with although his dash attack and down throw lose their combo ability is acting like a strategy guide and should be avoided, as stating that Meta Knight's recovery is better is fine, as it is stating the proper factual information, however stating that his dash attack and down throw lose their combo ability is reading like a strategy guide and could be considered subjective, as you may not even consider Meta Knight having a combo ability, you may think that he has a better combo game, etc. (and your edit did not describe why his combo ability is lost.) Thanks for finding certain talk pages that really shouldn't be there! Though if they are connected to a vandal or sockpuppet, they can really just be marked for deletion unless there's something important to keep. Help

Hi. I'm a newer member and I don't have a computer. I use a tablet for editing the wiki. Because I don't have a computer, I can't read links on websites unless someone on the wiki sends me one. So, sometimes I need help getting obscure Mario stuff off the ground and adding it to the wiki. And since you are an avid Mario fan like me, I'd imagine you'd be all for tracking down this stuff. Right now, I'm looking for someone that can find a couple of pictures on Google images that I have a bit of a difficult time describing and then turning those pictures into jpg or png files and sending them to me. New stubs

The page(s) you recently created (Alejandra Cazares, Melissa Hutchinson) has/have been put up for deletion, has been deleted, or turned into a redirect. This may be because it violated at least one of the policies and/or guidelines of the Super Mario Wiki. There are some things you can do to ensure this doesn't happen again. Make sure there is no other article about the same subject with a different title, especially for conjectural articles. Make sure the article has enough information to make it a worthwhile read (i.e. it does more than state the obvious, such as "Luigi's Mansion is a mansion that is owned by Luigi"). Overly short articles are known as stubs and their creation is strongly discouraged; it is better to amass enough information to make a solid article right off the bat instead. Make sure the article is significant enough in the Super Mario franchise to have its own article. It's not that interesting or noteworthy, yeah. It doesn't really mean anything, just stating the order of appearances went Samus -> Pit -> Dark Pit -> Dark Samus, which can be easily determined by playing the games or reading the game articles. 18:26, December 2, 2019 (EST)
