Sorry, there is no such statement.
It is stated that it is based on data, but it is not stated that the source of the data is Nintendo.
Since it is a document, I assume it was given by Nintendo...but there is no mention of it.

File name

Hello! Just letting you know I moved one of your files to the name File:MKL Japanese Mario set.png, to be more descriptive and consistent with the Luigi set you uploaded. Keep up the great work.

Thank you. I'm just starting out, so thank you for your help.

Romaji

Hello, please follow MarioWiki:Japanese when adding romanisations. Ideally, you want to separate them if they're different words (e.g. Kinoko Ōkoku instead of Kinokoōkoku), and use macrons for long vowels (e.g. Ōkoku instead of Ookoku, and for 島 instead of Tou). I understand. I'm sorry, I used the wrong form. I'll take care of it.

Cat Shine list

Are you currently working on the Cat Shine list? If so, it's better if you had just done as much as you can in one go before hitting save, otherwise the page is just left empty for the time being. If it's going to be left in this state for a while, it will have to be deleted until there's actual content. Lucina costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 00:14, February 18, 2021 (EST)

Giant Bob-omb

Hey, just so you know, <span class="explain" title=""> is usually reserved to approximate official use of furigana in this context. Is the name 「巨大ボムへい」 in another source? LinkTheLefty (talk) 15:35, April 21, 2021 (EDT)

Thanks for correcting the statement. It was written in strategy books, strategy sites, etc., so there is no official source for it. I apologize for that.

Bowser's Fury Perfect Guide

Hey, so I take it you own the Bowser's Fury Perfect Guide? If so, are you able to find the names for the other Bowser's Fury articles with conjectural names? We'll be able to rename them to the official Japanese names in that case. Lucina costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 00:52, April 27, 2021 (EDT)

Other than that, Cat Flinger was listed under the name "Springpole"(スプリングポール), and a locked basket with Cat Shine was listed as a "cat basket"(ネコカゴ)[1]

The blackened damage zone is described as "Fury paint"(フューリー絵の具).[2]

Fury Stake was listed under the name "Kick Bomb"(キックボム).[3]However, the name may only be for the attack during the fight with Fury Bowser.
For Fury Cat, there was no mention of a name, just the statement that "the cat becomes rabid".
Plessie Ring was simply listed as "Gate"(ゲート). Ma-sansunsun (talk)

Awesome, thanks for this information! Lucina costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 06:15, April 27, 2021 (EDT)

Fury Stake was listed under the name "Fury Spike"(フューリースパイク). On other pages (pages 441 and 505), it was mentioned. Ma-sansunsun (talk)

Before continuing further, I'd prefer to confirm that this Perfect Guide is official. As I recall, several older Perfect Guides are unauthorized. Can you confirm via book credits? LinkTheLefty (talk) 07:45, April 27, 2021 (EDT)

Sorry. This book is from a different publisher (Kadokawa) than "Shogakukan", the publisher of the "Nintendo Official Guidebook," which has been released for other titles. As of now, it is not published by "Shogakukan". Ma-sansunsun (talk)

It is all right if the credits mention being authorized or supervised by Nintendo, which is true for some books not by Shogakukan. Is that the case, or does it not mention it? LinkTheLefty (talk) 08:17, April 27, 2021 (EDT)
