Mario Kart Wii Request

Hey M&SG, I really like those crisp quality pictures you uploaded on the Mario Kart Wii karts/bikes article. Well, may I please ask small favor? You know, there is a description for other riders colors? I would request that a gallery would be created, and it contains the images for the colors of each characters using the karts, so it will make visualization of the karts easier.

Sorry for the bother. I just had this idea for a while and your pictures are excellent quality.

Actually, I am very interested in using the Dolphin Emulator. Problem is, do you need a specific drive to use it? I got problems with using it when I first installed it and I don't know what to do :(

I didn't place any hacks or things like that, what my issue was, was that User:Smghacker was going to the galaxy articles and posting information on what a planet in the distance does if you hack so that you can reach it. This seemed more appropriate for Beta Elements or Trivia, so I asked. Bop1996 _(Talk)

Toad (character) Sprites

Hi, I was just wondering about why you removed the Mario Super Slugger sprites of Toad from his gallery page. I understand that the Toad in that game was named as Red Toad (that is why I put the sprites of the same Toad in the Toad (species) gallery); however, his importance to the games as well as other sources that state so (such as his bios and chemistry relationships in this game) seem to indicate that he is indeed the Toad himself. I did not add the sprites back into Toad's own gallery, but I just wanted to know the reason to why you removed these two sprites. If it works out, I'll still keep the same Toad sprites in the Toad species gallery as well. Thank you. Propeller Toad 21:23, 6 July 2011 (EDT)

How to make the Wii/GCN screenshots with even more quality

Tutorial

1. In new revisions it's possible to adjust quality (but it reduces perfomance).
2. In Graphic Plugin settings, choose in Internal Resolution "2x Native (1280x1056)". Also check Scaled EFB Copy, if you didn't already in previous revisions.
   
3. Advantages: The picture is now looks with more quality. Disadvantages: The pictule is looking pixelated and the emulation (frame loading) is slower.

My screen's limit is 1280x1024, but I've made a custom resolution and now I'm able to view in 1920x1536 (everything became very small, so I'm using it for fullscreen only). I think you should try to add "1920x1080" in your driver settings. SWFlash

You're doing it wrong and searching in the wrong place. Say, what's your GPU: Nvidia, ATI, or other? If you're using Nvidia, I'm 100% sure that, with it, it's possible on any OS. SWFlash

I think you don't know what GPU is then. 1. If you'd hadn't one, you wouldn't be able to get any GCN/Wii screenshots. 2. You can only have 1 in the computer and you can't just install/delete it. SWFlash

I've searched through the internet and found this:

At this time, ATI does not support custom resolutions, but since 3dfx, Matrox, and NVidia do, there's no reason to think ATI won't at some point in the future...
You can reveal the following "hidden" resolutions though:
720x480
864x480
1024x600
1280x720
1280x768
1280x960*
1360x768
1600x1024
*This one is explicitly marked as reserved by ATI - you might want to stay away from it.

It doesn't matter which Internal Resolution you have, it depends on monitor's Native Resolution (which I've explained to you above, it seems that you can't change it). Also, in the yesterday revision they've added 4x Native option. SWFlash

1. I'm agree, Windows doesn't let the windows to stretch to larger size than the Native Resolution. 2. Ok. 3. It wasn't capable of having such resolution until today, when I've added it. SWFlash
