Life has been pretty tough lately.We had a house fire back in July (apologies for language, but fuck you, dry grass) and we've just barely started getting back on our feet. I can only be on a few times a month, since we only have one computer and everyone needs to use it all the time. My Christmas was okay (amazing, actually), and I hope yours was too.

No wonder you're not active here, Mr. Game & Watch. I've been wondering where you are.

I suppose this page got created recently. Well, it isn't much, I guess. Nothing really drastic has happened so far, except the autopatrol status is now removed (except for retired staff members). This major proposal passed. There is also a new standard for sales and reception section of articles. Relationships section will also get pretty big changes. Script pages (pages showing a game's full dialogue, especially from the RPGs) are strongly discouraged. Also, Amps aren't considered Chain Chomps anymore. APNG files are also removed. We now got a List of Quotes by Character pages, although that process isn't fully implemented yet.

Anyway, I used to be known here as "Mariobros1985" but got blocked by an admin who's long gone now. I created a few troll accounts almost a year ago following my ban, but learned that it was just wasting my time, and other people out there have been mimicing me. All I would do would create an account with an insulting name, and that was that, but the copycats out there take it all to the next level. In fact, I would've said hi to you long ago, but your account was created a few days after I was blocked...

I dunno, I'd assume he's just trying to trip people up by taking similar-looking/old account names. Wiki stuff

It's a bit hard to say what needs to be done, a lot of what I learned how to do stuff around here comes from just pure editing. You should try being specific about what you want to do, there's a lot everywhere to learn. The general rule of thumb is that if you want to format an article a particular way, look at how other articles do it, how they format their tables and whatnot, and try copying their layouts, especially for tables and creating new navboxs. Use the preview button a whole lot, it's one of the best learner's tools out there. For a resource on web colors, use wikipedia's article on it as it has all colors you need for the web. And if there's a question to ask, ask either on article talk pages or on user talk pages (especially those of more experienced users) if your decision you made isn't sure. Finally, if someone reverts your edit, it's most likely done in good faith and they usually put an edit summary explaining why, so you can learn from your own mistakes (everyone makes 'em, that's how we became knowledgeable in the first place, we made a ton of mistakes). If you have a question about the state of an article, try looking at the said article's talk page, if the discussion and issue has already been brought up before. Articles that need expansion are mostly dependent on your knowledge of said game...right now I'm working on expanding the Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island article but I haven't edited in a while due to conflict of my personal interest. I see. The first number is always the total for the first voting option, the second number is the second voting option, and so on. Generally, passed proposals have the greater number first. And those that failed generally have the smaller number first. But this isn't a hard rule: next time just follow the numbers using the score of the voting options, from first to last.
