Paper Mario series page

Oh hey, your work rewriting the Paper Mario series page is very much appreciated! However, I noticed the bulk of itis centered around the character sections; there's a forum thread on how merdique the series pages are and the concencus so far is to scrap the character sections entirely.

Obviously a forum thread is not the most accurate way to get concensus, so I'll make a proposal about this in the coming days. I'm adivising you of this so that you do not waste efforts on a section that may be scrapped in the near-future. --Glowsquid (talk) 11:23, 21 August 2016 (EDT)

I don't believe that the character sections should be removed for the RPG series, as they are too relevant to the genre (unlike with the main Mario series, which are platformers with a much lesser focus on story or characters). I'm beginning with the character sections on the series page but I plan to work on everything I can eventually, just in case it seemed like I was only going to work on the characters page, so I won't mind if it needs to be removed completely. Anyway, thanks for the heads-up! Koopalmier (talk) 11:49, 21 August 2016 (EDT)

Genre

Both users had a point. It may be an Action Adventure but it's an RPG too. They may've said it was not one but it still has RPG elements so that is enough for it to be classified as one. Thanks. They used the term "action-adventure" only to advertise their product, like how the original Paper Mario uses the action-adventure tagline to advertise its game. I'd rather take what we saw of the gameplay footage to assume the genre than rely on marketer's talking points. "Action-adventure" sounds nice and hip anyway. Specifics for SMG2 being parallel to SMG

Can you specifically point out where it's said that SMG2 is in a parallel world to SMG in the Japanese Wikipedia page you linked? I checked the story section there and all I got out of it is that it's another story about stardust. SmokedChili (Talk) (Thoughts) 06:33, 19 November 2016 (EST)
