Beta elements

If you can, it'd be better if you can provide a source for the information you are putting into the beta elements page. Yoshi876 (talk)

Image

To get an image to appear onto the wiki, you need to first upload it, which you can do here, then to put it into an article you need to [[File:Filename.whatever format it is (png, jpg etc)|size of image eg 250px]]. Yoshi876 (talk)

Super Mario-Kun

Thanks for the contributions regarding Super Mario-Kun! Our coverage on this long-running manga is scant, so it's much appreciated that you devote some time and effort inputting the information. Again, thanks! :) Icon showing how many lives Mario has left. From Super Mario 64 DS. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 20:48, 10 May 2014 (EDT)

Your article

Do not create beta elements articles until the game is released. It's still possible that those elements are in the game, they just weren't shown. And if they were dumped, they could come back at a later stage in development. You also added speculation on the page, which isn't allowed, fan-theories like Yin-Yarn being an antagonist is not allowed, especially since nowhere did the development team even say he'd be in there. RE:Delete Yarn Yoshi beta elements?

Only an admin can delete articles and it has been taken care of. And don't worry people make mistakes, just don't don't again. Yoshi876 (talk)

RE:PAL Name?

Not all minigames have names that are different in PAL regions, it is possible that this is one of them as I found nothing as well. Yoshi876 (talk)

Least favorite beta.

bettafish-300x239.jpg

To be serious, my least favorite pre-release element has to be Mario's old voice from Super Mario 64. I mean, the noise sounds like a Toad acting like Michael Jackson. I can only imagine if they kept that voice. shudder Icon showing how many lives Mario has left. From Super Mario 64 DS. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 17:09, 22 June 2014 (EDT)

Beta

Hi. Beta images should only be on the beta pages, so please don't add them onto other pages. Thanks. Yoshi876 (talk)

RE:What does it mean?

FMV means Full Motion Video, which is described here at good ol' Wikipedia. Yoshi876 (talk)

You currently have too many personal images.

Users are limited to a maximum of five personal images, which can be used on your user page and/or for a signature on talk pages (see the personal image policy for details). Please select the personal images you would like to keep and mark all others for deletion using the {{delete}} template. If you have not relinquished your extra images within one week of receiving this notice, five images will be selected for retention at random, and the rest will be deleted. If you continue uploading more images and exceeding the limit, then a warning will be issued.

  • If you're uploading beta images, please implement them onto mainspace articles. They are treated as personal images if they're only used in your userspace page. RedYoshiMK7Signature.png M&SG (talk) 19:57, 13 August 2014 (EDT)

Using "You" in an article

When writing articles, it is always a good idea to avoid using "you", as it is against our writing guidelines. One example of this happening is in this revision of the Swinging with Sharks Item minigame. Instead, focus on using "the player" or the character's name. Although for a Mario Party minigame, it is best to use the player. I already fixed it, in case you were wondering. – Owencrazyboy9 (talk) 11:21, 16 October 2016 (EDT)
