Passive Talk War

Passive talk is basically where you place the predicate before the subject. For example:

"Out of the mine exploded Wario" is passive talk.

"Wario exploded out of the mine" is active talk.

Generally speaking, active talk is preferred over passive talk because not only it prevents problems such as misplaced modifiers, but is more exciting for the reader to read. It also sounds more awkward than active talk. Passive writing is great if it is a preferred style, but for informing readers, active is better. Something like this was written in the articles:

"Ahead of the monkeys is an abyss." I changed it to this:

"An abyss is ahead of the monkeys."

Passive talk is still grammatically correct, so it's not a serious issue. I even left some passive talk in the Cog Jog article. Just make sure the majority of the sentences are active.

Hey, I have a question about Worlds 1 - 6 under the Places category to the left here...cuz, the first World 1 says "Many Mario games" next to it, but it also lists the World 1's from several Mario games under that as well, so I was just wondering, is there a reason for that? I mean, if there are already some World 1's from some Mario games there, then why even have the "Many Mario games" thing, instead of just listing them all out there, u know?

It would be cool to have DKL series for the 3DS if Retro helps Nintendo out. Also I hope the DKL remake will include more Animal Buddies, places such as Cranky's Hotel, etc. Now that would be cool as you state. :D. Thanks it is good to have a DKL series fan around here too. I think a DKLR would be nice and it would be even nicer if the Virtual Console on the 3DS has an Original Version and a Modern Version and I hope Nintendo does that. 2) Yes, I used to write for the Character Comparison section in 2009 for a while. However, because of a tight school schedule, I didn't have enough time to write the comparisons (which explains the shortness of those sections). Eventually, I left the 'Shroom so I can catch up on my work.

3) I have never been blocked on this wiki.

4) I would like to write for the Music Factoid section, as I do love video game music and I want to share some facts about them with the wiki. Also, this section will be much easier for me to write for as I will have more time with my homework once it's done.

Hey, you know how I told a bunch of users to tell me if the have an idea for a Mario Kart track. I have started one. BabyLuigiOnFire told me to make one and it is Wario's body. I changed it to Wario's golden statue and there are organs and fake body parts in it. It's kind of funny about this because in Health class we are learning about the digestive system and we watched a BrainPop and a Magic School Bus video. They were digusting and there were boulders (or chocolate) when they showed the large intestine in both videos. I'll have lots have time since I have a snow day tomorrow. Donkey Kong Hearts Wario

Yeah, today's my birthday. I was gone from the wiki because I was celebrating it at my friend's house (not to mention school sappin' mah time).

Yeah, I'm 16. I'm going to get a driver's permit as soon as I can. And no, I won't be a horrible driver like Wario is.

Anyway, thank you *cough no thank you* for the Wario. Black holes can make nothing (not even light) escape its density, but Wario sucks them in. Horrifying. They also make an infinte well in the fabric, but Wario rips the fabric.

Funny Story

DO want me to tell you a funny story. I did hangman a school and no-one could guess that what I wrote down in hangman was DONKEY KONG COUNTRY seeing that the series was unpopular. I wrote it out when it was time to go. Also on my journal class I wrote down Kaptain K. Rool as a person I could describe and I changed the word person to crocodile. So I did that. Do you ever do that? Besides I am thirteen years old too It is fabulous!!! Your favorite game is DKC2!!! OMG NO WAY!!!! That is MY favorite game too lol. I'm not really thinking too hard about getting the 3DS, unless the game cartridge won't work in a regular DS Lite - I also had no plans on getting the DSi when it came out, because I still play my GBA games very often. Will the newer games work on an older DS?
