    After the definitive I.P. under which he contributed regularly had changed after many years, FanOfYoshi decided to register. His journey mainly involved Yoshi's Island, along with splitting Fluffin Puffin, Roger Lift, indirectly help Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) with the Ice Snifit situation, and some embarrassment caused by his previous stances on filenames.

Jellyfish artwork

Edit sniping

Also, editing another user's comment on the admin noticeboard is still against the rules unless it is adding another report or fixing code, and editing the comment just makes the admin's job harder when they try to undo the edit after the user is blocked. By definition the reports are comments towards the admins to notify them, and editing comments, with exceptions, are explicitly against the rules. After looking at that discussion, I have no idea why you told me I "need to give [my opinion]" when

  • I didn't contribute to the discussion or any previous discussion about Bullet Bill's
  • The disagreement is hardly urgent and whatever decision is taken is unlikely to influence how the wiki does things to any notable degree
  • Nobody had questioned policies related to the discussion and nobody asked for an admin's take
  • Multiple admins had already commented on the question.

TTA calling me on that Nipper Dandelion thing made sense, because I was vocal and visible in the whole Super Mario Encyclopedia fiasco that was being questioned in that argument. No such thing here. Undo revisions

Next time, for something like this, you should use the radio buttons (between the "(cur | prev)" and the dates) and select "Compare selected revisions", or click the "cur" button next to the first revision before the first vandal edit, to check if it's all been removed.

What OMF said in that last sentence. There's absolutely no rule against creating articles for coverage-worthy subjects with conjectural titles, so I don't know where you're getting this from. RE:Contractions proposal

Good question... I suppose not. The point of the proposal was to place contractions in the same category of unprofessional documentation as addressing to the reader in second person and such. But the templates already do that ("therefore, please excuse the informal [...]"); they are meant to sound more familiar to reader, so I guess templates are in a separate sphere from the mainspace content and can have contractions. Your signature

Hello there, I'm wondering if you can change the yellow text on your signature. The wiki's pages are typically white and light-colored so the yellow contrasts really badly on the white. SM3DW icon

Can you elaborate? Open both images up and zoom in all the way. They are the same image, except that the jpg version is noticeably blurry and artifacted. It's against policy to convert lossy formats (like JPG) to lossless formats (like PNG); however, it is acceptable, and often required to convert other lossless formats (like those found within game data, such as BMP) to PNG, which is what appears to be the case here. --Super Mario Fan 67 (T•C•S) 14:33, July 15, 2019 (EDT)

Recent SM64-based edits

Firstly, no, Amps did not have white lips in SM64; they had no lips at all. Even a cursory glance can tell that. Secondly, that Pokey image was among the worst "screenshots" I've ever seen on this site. Super Mario 64 has plenty of high-quality videos associated with it, so why on Earth you would pick one with a "let's play" webcam box with the player's feet in it is absolutely beyond me. Additionally, why would you plop that right at the end of the gallery? You've been around long enough to know that they go chronologically, and pretty sure you know that a generic title like "Pokey encountering" is a bad file name. It doesn't really look like lips to me, but I digress. I was trying to not be impolite, as I was honestly worried. The "feet" thing baffles me to no end, and was the reason for my saying that, because that's obviously among the worst YT sources that image could have come from. Anyways, emulators are gnerally the best place to get screenshots, actually, provided there aren't inaccurate filterings (and the game isn't Yoshi's Story; they screw that one the heck up.) And @FanOfYoshi re. your most recent post on my talk page, do try to have some common sense when uploading such images in the future; if there's webcam footage or custom capture decorations like the red/green bars on the Snifaro image, the best idea would be to crop them out.
