Somebody was impersonating him Raven Effect (talk)

It looks like they are using funny words that matches the username.--Mickey 21:04, 29 February 2012 (EST)
It's actually quite common for people to sock puppet by impersonating an admin Raven Effect (talk)
Kinda but one thing i saw on the Planet 51 wiki that was in wikia there was a copy of a Toomai which the o letter was silent. I may have to take care of that user soon. I know hes globally banned but he impersonated Toomai and used the same icon and others.

Candy

Because they have nothing to do with the game.

RE: BMD View models

Yes, but they're inappropriate to be placed on main articles such as Pinna Park. The model view of the file has vertex points and coding texts.

Screenshots

  • May I ask how you're able to make your Melee and Brawl screenshot uploads so wide? Last I've checked, Melee, being a GameCube title, does not have widescreen support. Also, your screenshots don't exactly look that wide on an actual television. RedYoshiMK7Signature.png M&SG (talk) 17:44, 9 March 2012 (EST)
  • You are aware that your screenshots are shorter than the ones that I've uploaded, right? A lot of my recent screenshots tend to use the 1024x768 (4:3), 1200x900 (4:3), 1280x720 (16:9), and 1600x900 (16:9) pixel dimensions. RedYoshiMK7Signature.png M&SG (talk) 17:52, 9 March 2012 (EST)
Yes i am because my pc doesn't have more higher resolutions that that. Why don't you try checking widescreen hack in the advanced options and then theres no stretching for some parts.
  • What I upload are screenshots that you'd typically see on an actual television; standard (4:3) and widescreen (16:9). I don't cover theatrical displays. RedYoshiMK7Signature.png M&SG (talk) 07:55, 10 March 2012 (EST)

Concerned with Several Images you Uploaded

I really don't think that text (and the other misc stuff) textures you uploaded are necessary. Games use zillions of textures and the ones that we really need are ones such as Stock Icons, Character Portraits, and character related stuff.

BabyLuigiFire.png Ray Trace(T|C)

Its ok to have all the textures including the character ones.--Mickey 00:03, 10 March 2012 (EST)
No no, I don't think it's wise to upload every single texture a game has. I removed the individual text from the game over. However, here are some examples of textures that I upload to the wiki:

If you upload character textures (you know, the ones that wrap around an individual character), it just looks odd and wrong. However, I kept the text (you know, the all-star text, game over, that sort of stuff). I don't know why but it might have use in improving the article? I dunno.

I do see some stuff you uploaded is interesting (the Delfino platforms) but other than that, I marked an image up for deletion (the water one) because, frankly, it doesn't seem to contain anything.

Thats because water is transparent. They can see through that drink or something.--Mickey 10:45, 10 March 2012 (EST)

RE: File rename

Done it.

Alien Bunny Sprite.pngL151Onnanoko

Issue concerning useless images.

You're in a matter of uplading several shots of the Super Smash Bros series and rips, but please don't add text sprites like those of game over and raw models, because the wiki does not support that kind of things. Some of the pictures are ambiguous or are complete nonsense that seem they are not specifically related to the sbuject, so avoid uploading models, textures or text from the games. ¢oincollctor rsitem209.png

Thats supposed to be applied to the text, sprites or any other fanmade and hacked models.--Mickey 16:38, 10 March 2012 (EST)
Also, the screenshots you uploaded are WAY too wide. You don't seem to have the correct configuration on your Dolphin Emulator. BabyLuigiFire.png Ray Trace(T|C)
He says there is a widescreen mode for it. But it is useless and not right.Fuzzy in New Super Mario Bros. UYoshiGo99Artwork of a Yoshi egg on a tilt. It is unknown whether this artwork was released with a certain game or not.
There probably is, but problem is, the screenshot is not supposed to be that wide. It's like using Free Look in the Dolphin Emulator and uploading weird screenshots that are bizarre to the wiki. Granted, I took many Free Look screenshots (DK Jungle from Mario Super Sluggers is one of them) but at least they don't look very weird and are quite useful. If you want to take gameplay screenshots, then it should be similar to how the actual game portrays it. BabyLuigiFire.png Ray Trace(T|C)

Widescreen rips

We appreciate your images that you are uploading, but unfortunately they're all pending deletion. We don't accept widescreen rips from games with no widescreen support. Thank you and please set your emulator display to normal. Keep contributing! --Super Famicom 64 16:33, 13 March 2012 (EDT)

Will you please stop reverting our edits? We removed your widescreen screenshots for a good reason (the fact that it is impossible to achieve that in the actual console). If you continue this, I have no choice but to issue you a reminder. BabyLuigiFire.png Ray Trace(T|C)

You remind me of a now blocked user he too uploaded hacked images and he too tried to get the users warned/blocked when they reverted them Raven Effect (talk)
Because they can be on the wiki.--Mickey 20:16, 13 March 2012 (EDT)
No because 16:9 is not possible in a GameCube without hacking/tweaking devices. Sorry dude, please set your Dolphin screen aspect ratio to 4:3 before submitting screenshots. --Super Famicom 64 14:43, 14 March 2012 (EDT)

Warning

Warning.svg
This is a warning to stop your inappropriate behavior (edit warring) on the Super Mario Wiki. Please adhere to the rules or you will be blocked from editing this site.
If you feel this warning was undeserved, you may appeal it.

Those widescreen shots you've been uploading are not allowed since it's impossible to get a widescreen image without tampering with game settings in an emulator only to make it appear different than normal. Those images are not allowed here. The deletion tags on those images should be there and the images should be deleted because they are not allowed here. Edit warring is not allowed either, so please stop that as well. Bop1996 (Talk)

They aren't abusing the tag if they're using it to alert sysops to the fact that the images don't belong and need to be deleted. Also, the fact that you used dolphin means it was changed by the emulator software to be different from its normal configuration, making it not allowed. Bop1996 (Talk)

Widescreen is NOT possible

Please stop uploading impossible widescreen GameCube images on the Super Mario Wiki. This isn't a warning, and it's possible that you made a mistake by accident or without realizing it; this is simply a reminder for your information. If the action continues, then a warning will be issued. Thanks for reading and keep contributing.
If you feel this reminder was undeserved, you may appeal it.

The GameCube cannot have widescreen display because it wasn't implemented in all electronic devices such as TVs. Setting widescreen with Dolphin, well, that's another story and doesn't mean widescreen in GameCubes is possible. --Super Famicom 64 14:31, 14 March 2012 (EDT)

I'm not intending to attack you, on a side note.
