Unfortunately, cutting out the middle step doesn't change the fact that your stories are still on subpages. User:NAME/TITLE/TITLE is a subpage and User:NAME/TITLE is also a subpage. You cannot keep these pages separate, and moving them around solves nothing: you have to cut and paste the content out of those pages and onto User:Chris Helper if you want to keep them on this venue. - Walkazo 23:36, 31 October 2011 (EDT)

- We're not running you off the wiki, and compared to plenty of other places, our simple request that users keep their content on one page isn't unreasonable at all. Anyway, thanks for cooperating so far; I deleted the pages you marked for deletion - can I delete the other pages too? It looks like all the content's on your main userpage by this point... except for User:Chris Helper/Story Characters, which also needs to be moved... So, you still need to move the content on User:Chris Helper/Story Characters to your userpage. You also need to move the content on User:Chris Helper/Mario & Nintendo references to your userpage as well, since it's just more fiction. Please do this as soon as possible, because we can't put off deleting these pages much longer. I'm also going to have to delete User talk:Chris Helper/Gifts, since it's also not what subpages are supposed to be used for. - Walkazo 22:02, 6 November 2011 (EST)

Hello Chris Helper about the article you just made, is very short. This is consider a stub article which isn't allowed on the wiki. Please remember, when creating a new page put as much effort about the article as possible and please don't use a "third person view" verb which i am referring to as You. Thank you for reading.
Building on what Lindsay151 said, the articles you've been creating are very short and typically consist of 1 to 3 sentences. I understand that the subject matter doesn't have much to talk about, but for example when you make the souvenir articles, you could add information about the following.
- Introduce the souvenir's game appearance and type.
- Appearance of the souvenir or background of the game.
- The objective or feature of the souvenir.
- Controls of the souvenir.
- Any applicable trivia or resemblance to other micro/mini-games.
- The availability of the souvenir (is it available from the start or do you have to do anything to get it).
- Any applicable images or image tags.
Using these criteria, you should be able to get at least 4 sentences. Try your best when creating these articles, since most likely no one will go back to add information to them once they have been made.--Knife (talk) 14:23, 7 January 2012 (EST)

Using Wikipedia to have a rough summary of who said what and to give an idea of what sources to use is fine, but the content should be original. Comparing your version:
Donkey Kong Jr. Math was a critical and commercial failure. Nintendo spokesman Tom Sarris said that it "wasn't a big hit", including that no one was very enthusiastic about the game. He felt that if it was well received, it would lead to more educational titles. Andy Slaven, the author of the game, derided Nintendo for combining a positively received license with math, which is generally unfavorable with children. Wikipedia:Inside Higher Ed's David Epstein did not find this game to be fun, while Bob Mackey from 1UP.com called it the worst NES launch title, criticizing it for a lack of value. He commented that Donkey Kong Jr. moves as well as an infant would in real life. Skyler Miller from Allgame said that the game was a creative use of Donkey Kong Jr.'s graphics and gameplay.
The game had a poor reception from IGN. Lucas M. Thomas found the controls poor and the execution to be bland and flawed. Frank Provo of GameSpot found out it became boring quickly; he also criticized the math problems that would be easy for young children and boring for older ones. Eurogamer's Dan Whitehead commented that it gave him an "ironic smile" as a reminder of the NES era, though he couldn't justify paying five dollars for it.
The game also received criticism for its qualities as an educational game.

It's obvious that you ctrl+C, ctrl+ved the first two paragraphs of the Wikipedia section, marginally changed the wording in some part (mind you, changing "adding that no one was very enthusiastic about the title" to "including that no one was very enthusiastic about the game." is nowhere near enough to pass it off as original content) deleted others and removed all the sources. The 2nd paragraph in both is nearly word-for-word identical, apart from the removed sentences.
While Wikipedia allows one to reuse its contents as long as it isn't used commercially and that the authors are credited (which you didn't do), we'd rather have original content, which what you added isn't by any stretch of imagination. --Glowsquid (talk) 12:30, 20 December 2012 (EST)
- Ah-ha. That's why it features most of the same information with no addition, presented in the same order and with very similar (and in some case, identical) wording
Admitelly, there's only so many ways you can write "Jeff from GiantBomb thought DK. Jr Math sucked", but it's incredibly obvious you put only the barrest minimum effort in changing the content from that Wikipedia section. What you did is very similar to the first example here, which is about as incriminating as it can get.
