If there is ever a vacancy in the Poll Committee (e.g. a member quits, retires, is removed, etc.), then the director of the Poll Committee at the time (currently Super Mario Bros.) will ask whichever user he/she deems responsible enough for the position. So basically, if you work real hard and do good things (prove that you are a hard worker), then you may be chosen as soon as there is a vacancy. However if you have any suggestions for polls or comments about how to improve the committee, you can contact any of the Poll Committee members or leave a message on this page.

Re:Cosmic Scuttle Bug
Oh, okay, I think you can probably leave it on the list then; I'm relatively sure that the same thing happens with a lot of other species on the list as well (well, maybe not a lot, but a generous few). Like Cosmic Tox Box, for instance: this redirects to Tox Box much in the same way that Cosmic Scuttle Bug redirects to Scuttle Bug. I think this is done because Cosmic Scuttle Bug or Cosmic Tox Box are not important enough to warrant an article, but still need to be adequately represented on the list of species nevertheless. This also may be done because Cosmic Scuttle Bug or Cosmic Tox Box are actually not real species at all, and the "Cosmic" part in their names merely indicates the first time that they appeared as such in a game; that is, the first time they have appeared in space (the fact that Super Mario Galaxy is given as the game from which they came from would lead me to believe this), of course, that's just one user's guess... :)

Well, I think that by putting that template on a page, you're kind of automatically nominating it to be a Featured Article at the same time, know what I mean? If I had to hazard a guess though (assuming that is incorrect), I would say that putting that template on an article and not nominating it for Featured Article status would probably be frowned upon or seen as counterproductive, because other than being used for articles that have been nominated to be Featured Articles, it really has no other purpose. The only exception I could think of would possibly be if you just wanted to put such a template on your userpage or user talkpage, as I have seen some other users do things like that in the past. I honestly don't know where putting various templates on one's userpage or user talkpage just for the sake of having them there for decoration stands with regard to the rules, as I have never had cause to do so myself, so please don't think that I'm advocating that or saying that it's okay...I'm not really leaning one way or another, I'm just telling you what I know. You may want to consult a Sysop or Patroller for more information, as they may be able to assist you further. Just out of curiosity though, why would you want to do that anyway?

Hmmm...well, from what I can see, he/she appears to be a relatively new user, so it's possible that they are just inexperienced with how nominating articles for Featured Article status actually works...if this is the case, the user should probably not be given a reminder, but just told nicely about it on their talkpage (again, I'm not suggesting that you should or should not do this, I'm just telling you what it looks like to me). I don't really know all the specifics of the situation, and I can't read minds, so I think our best bet would be if you maybe asked a Sysop to ask the user about it on their talkpage, or again, maybe they could just look into it directly...

- No, since we can actually see those things happen. The thing about undoing the curse on the Mushroom Kingdom can't go in the powers and abilities section because we don't know what she can do to achieve that, partially because she hasn't done it, which means we can't describe it in any other terms than are already mentioned in the appropriate section, while as a playable character in SMB2, we can see that she can float with her dress and throw vegetables.
- Goomba's Shoe, please don't edit the Peach article again without first discussing the problem with Mario4Ever. I'm not angry at you, personally, I think that the edit should be made, but if we just continued adding and removing it, we'd be getting nowhere. So please talk to Mario4Ever before continuing.

I'm not comfortable with the fact that the ability to undo the curse is only mentioned in SMB's story and is never put into practice, unlike the powers already in the article. Would it be alright to say that it is implied that she can undo the curse on the kingdom? Mario4Ever (talk)

Wart and Yoshis
This is not a speculation. Wart have knowledge on the Yoshis, the Green Yoshi Eggs were stolen, so it tells that the Yoshis hate Wart. Yoshi Eggs appeared in Super Mario Advance. It doesn't matter if Wart and "the" Yoshi have met or not. You misunderstood my proposal. My proposal isn't to remove all mention of Pyoro from the wiki (which wouldn't make sense). It's just to remove mention of Pyoro from MarioWiki:Coverage, since it doesn't belong there. Also, can you please indent your comments? You indent by placing a colon (:) in front of your comments. If you look here, you'll see that Pyoro's picture is on the page as a sub-series. Reversinator is only proposing to remove this picture (since Pyoro is not a sub-series). The article stays. Mario4Ever (talk)
Transparent and non transparent
Transparent images are those that the background was removed. The image appears with a checkered-pattern behind, and this allows to show an image that can be located behind that picture with transparency. Additionally adding transparency can considerably reduce an image's size, in terms of capacity (bytes) but that's a common treat with PNG pics. Non-transparent pictures are those that have a background in it and can block the view of another pic if the non-transparent pic is placed on top of the other.

FYI, you change the title of the old Fa nomintation to N1/"Name of Article" rather than N1/Title. So, in your case, you're supposed to move MarioWiki:Featured Articles/N/Shadow Mario to MarioWiki:Featured Articles/N1/Shadow Mario, not MarioWiki:Featured Articles/N1/Title. Hope this helps :)

It may seems like it's a speculation because none of these games shows "emotions" or "feelings" towards someone. BS Super Mario USA make me told that because I often saw pictures of Wart and Birdo(s) together. She was like a most main antagonist of the game instead of Mouser and other leaders. She even did risk her life fighting Mario without giving up until he reached Wart (that was a red Birdo, but it's often says that was Birdo herself by transforming...like Yoshi turning into a Blue Yoshi with Yoshi Wings...), like she really consider him as much more than her leader, by protecting him with all her efforts to defeat Mario. Wart was always with Birdo himself too, even in Super Mario All-Stars commercial, Dream Factory: Heart-Pounding Panic and Super Mario Bros. 2 artwork. That's why I've been portrayed Birdo as Wart's favorite and most faithful servant like Bowser's Bowser Jr. and Boom Boom (the first before Bowser Jr.).
