Previously, I called her a bad name because she stole my conversation. I asked for her forgiveness and she accepted. The Birdo article right now is about these multiple characters known as Birdo, so I changed it to make it more accurate. Personally I believe these articles (character and species) may be served best merged together. And sex is a perfectly acceptable word to use in an encyclopedia article, especially when referring to a transvestite character. -- Son of Suns (talk)

Officially, according to the Super Mario Bros. 2 manual (and many other sources), Birdo is a boy who dresses like a girl. So you can think whatever you want, but officially some or all of the Birdo characters are transvestites. And transvestitism is perfectly acceptable, not abnormal, so don't be judgmental. -- Son of Suns (talk)

Well officially that Birdo does exist, but she exists in Subcon, the world of Mario's dreams (which the Smash Bros. fighters even travel to). Plus many other sources indicate that different Birdos (not the Subcon one) are of indeterminate or ambigious sex/gender, as detailed by the Birdo article (which makes Birdo such a fascinating character!). =) -- Son of Suns (talk)

Check out this section for a discussion of all official sources dealing with the ambiguous gender of all the Birdo characters. The main playable Birdo in all the sports/party/kart titles might be female, but then again she might be male. Consider this quote from the Mario Kart: Double Dash!! website (retrieved from the article): "[Birdo] appears to be Yoshi's girlfriend... or does that mean boyfriend?!" Even the main pink Birdo is of indeterminate gender. Hi there -- the quotes on the Princess Daisy article are a very different case, so that was a pass. But in the case of Birdo's article, there were too many "generic quotes"/"one-liners" that seriously don't need mentioning on the article itself. It's not fanmade, as it does look like an official model. However, models in that pose have generally been hacked through Action Replay or some similar device and as such are considered inferior to a real screenshot from the official game. Phoenix Rider 20:06, 11 June 2010 (UTC)

RE: Your Pic

the reason i remove those art uploaded is because it came from as part of game promo art and not as a solo art. Sure it in good quality We dont allowed artwork that were crop from the promoart and from the solo art (this happen to me before so am just reminder you this). And as for the MT64 images you uploaded it wasnt a good idea to transparent them and remove the background, it be much better to uploaded them in a much higher quality instead that all i have to say, i hope you understand. Actually, BB i got this from a japanese manual of the game if i did crop it from the promo or boxart, you would see the marks and missing parts of mario. L 151
