It's not like we can't just get an admin to move the category when the name does get changed to something else. :P It happened with Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon - when it was unveiled in 2011, its working title was Luigi's Mansion 2, and I'd assume we had a Luigi's Mansion 2 Images category, which we then had to move to a different name. Naw, your idea is perfect. I've avoided mentioning specific subsections for a reason (bar the minor examples I've given), but maybe I could compromise that and go into a bit more detail about each section and what it includes. I've already done that with the Miscellaneous section, but only because a broad term like 'Miscellaneous' needs defining. There really isn't anything that isn't allowed in a gallery, as long as it has an appropriate sub-section title (this proves that). But, if your proposal is passed then all subject galleries will have to include screenshots from the TV shows. Perhaps something like this could work:

A Screenshots section includes a selection of images taken directly from a video game or television show that feature the subject. Not every screenshot needs to be featured in the gallery, but one or two examples from each of the subject's appearances (in both video games and television shows) should be included for diversity.

This will make it clear that screenshots from both video games and TV shows should be included in a subject's gallery. I'm keen on making my proposal soon, so I'll just run it by Walkazo first before I make the proposal to see if these changes can be added afterward. Thanks LGM! No worries, they were your great ideas in the first place. Your proposal shouldn't fail (according to Walkazo, so it's pretty much guaranteed to pass), so I've just modified the policy with those changes now, and if in the off chance it does fail then I'll alter it again. I feel that including the images will give the galleries a lot more depth than they have now. Generic Mario artwork is great and all, but including a wider range of images relating to the history of the Mario series is a much better use of the galleries, which is why I like the idea so much (and you practically sold me with those fake gallery captions). As long as there is variety with the images you add, then there shouldn't be a problem (a few examples from each notable commercial is all that is needed anyway). I reckon the grinning one is probably the best overall, although this one is definitely the weirdest. Lol, I completely agree that Mario needs more official animation, like you said, there is plenty of potential for one (even just a Nintendo Video short would be great).
BTW, I didn't expect you to vote, but it was great that you did (and that you were very kind ^^). Also, I've almost finished the Luigi gallery, just need to upload some more screenshots/cropped scans tomorrow and it should be done. I might also tackle the Toad gallery while I'm at it. You might want to remove the Bumm-Badabumm im Urwald link though, since the Club Nintendo comics have extensive wiki summaries and coverage on other sites, and are thus not inacessible the way something like Super Mario-kun is, though. Image Edits

In the case of the bitsize images, I literally went into the game and swapped the pallets for those versions. The previous ones are very obviously color affected by whatever program they were in upon ripping. And the other artworks are not consistent with Daisy's appearance in-game for those specific appearances or as a whole. If you know enough about how such artwork is made, it has more to do with it being photoshopped in the first place than anything. They are literally corrections, and I'm not honking my own horn to say I know when something's off-model. Please bother contacting me first before reverting more of these edits. Let me do a run down then, because I don't know why you're considering them enhancements, so feel free to delve further into that?

• This is her model from the game:[1]
• This is an in-game render; same-game: [2]
• This is another official artwork; same-game: [3]
• This is the non-corrected artwork: [4]

You can see the difference between her hair and eye color, regardless if it is slight, from the last image compared to all the others, including another official artwork, the group shot. To add to my point, this is Peach's render: [5]

Notice how Peach's eyes are azure, light blue. Notice how in the non-corrected art, Daisy's eyes are also azure. This is wrong. Looking at any of the other images, which are all consistent with each-other, shows that her eyes are noticably more sapphire. Looking at her render in other games even: [[6]] You can see specifically why the non-corrected art is wrong. And what I was saying is, it being the original, "official" version holds what importance, when the way official artworks are made is by someone sitting down and taking models into photoshop and photo-editing them to look a certain way? The art looks good yes, it was officially released yes, but it is inconsistent, therefore wrong and in need of slight correcting, as I did. What is wrong with that when I did the same thing the person who made the art did except I got it right and made it consistent? Shouldn't this be seen as a good thing? I mean, if you look at her original strikers artwork, she doesn't even have an ear! All I did was correct it so that is was no longer off-model. And it is supposed to have an ear because she has ears, that's what makes it a mistake. You not being able to see the difference is your problem, though, isn't it? Like I said, I've invested my life into this kind of thing, and anyone who so much as goes into MS Paint and does a color swap with the dropper tool on her eyes in the non-corrected art followed by doing the same with her other art, or you know, so much as compares it to Peach's when the two have a clear difference in the first place? Did you know there's such things as multiple official releases of the same artwork in response to people pointing out a need for corrections?

Artwork being official holds less importance over her render taken directly out of the same game, her model taken directly out of the same game, and also other official artwork, as well as her official appearance: IN the case that said official artwork is off-model. I linked you to said renders and said model from the game and used them as an example. So I didn't need to do it myself this time, but there they are anyway. What I could do is go on, and show you the exact differences by doing something like I said and go in and use a dropper tool and present you so much as the hex code for the color mistake. But I mean, you're saying you don't accept such corrections anyway. But as I've made example of, is silly to not do so just because it was done by a user when that is really no different than it being re-released. The only difference is someone isn't getting paid to fix the problem. The only difference is I'm taking the responsibility into the hands of her fans who know when she's off-model, even subtly. And that's the other thing, these are subtle corrections. I didn't change her eyes from brown to blue. I changed them from the wrong hue to the right hue. Same with the hair. It's a set of very minor fixes, and it has nothing to do with anything but fixing a clear mistake. Official does not mean it is perfect, it does not mean it is without need of correcting. Userpage issue

It's not a huge problem, but on my userpage one of the headings that i made is just showing up in a dotted-line box. I put it exactly like how I made the other headings, but this one is't showing up properly. I've tried sereral things but it jst stays the same.
