Uncle Steve


Hi fellers!


My name is Uncle Steve, and I am an editor on Mariowiki, in case you couldn't tell. I joined on November 5th, 2018 to mostly help out with Luigi's Mansion-related things. I am the (self-proclaimed) biggest Luigi's Mansion fan in the world and have even written a book about it (The Complete Secret's Guide to Luigi's Mansion). If you ever need a fact-check or strategy tip for the GameCube classic, I'm your guy!

I have been a Nintendo fan ever since my family got a Wii about ten years ago. I quickly became intrigued by Mario Kart Wii and the rest, as they say, is history. Nowadays, I play on my Wii U, Switch, 3DS, or sometimes even the good 'ol DS Lite. I am constantly keeping tabs on Nintendo news and announcements, and always look forwards to Smash Bros. leaks (except maybe Piranha Plant. What were they thinking?!)


When I am not editing, I am usually gaming, reading, or playing instruments (I am very good at piano and viola, and picked up guitar this summer). I can also be found on the golf course, probably knee-high in weeds.

One last note: My favorite games are as follows:

  • 1) Luigi's Mansion (Preferably GameCube, but 3DS works too)
  • 2) Super Mario Sunshine
  • 3) Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story
  • 4) Super Mario Galaxy
  • 5) Donkey Kong Country Returns
