Random Trivia
- The music for GBA Battle Course 1, N64 Big Donut, and DS Palm Shore in Mario Kart 7 is reused from the GBA Battle Course 3, N64 Skyscraper, and DS Twilight House courses from Mario Kart Wii, respectively.
- The one theme from Super Mario Maker that did not reappear in the sequel's reveal trailer is the Castle theme.
