Boxart Game My thoughts Score
File:SMB Boxart.png Super Mario Bros. (NES, Wii VC, 3DS VC) What can be said that hasn't been said already about this game? It's revolutionary, it has great gameplay...seriously, everything has already been said. 8.5
File:SMB TLL Boxart.PNG Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels (Wii VC, 3DS VC) It's pretty much a harder version of the original, but I can't help but think this game was rushed because of its 4 month development time. It's still solid though. 8.1
North American box art for Super Mario Bros. 2 Super Mario Bros. 2 (Wii VC, Wii U VC) Even though it's the same game as Doki Doki Panic, it's still really fun to play and it seems like it was meant to be a Mario game from the start. The puzzle elements should really be in more 2D (or 2.5D) platformers. 8.3
North American box art for Super Mario Bros. 3 Super Mario Bros. 3 (NES, Wii VC) This game is everything 8-bit platformers of this style should look at and strive to be. The new power-ups like the Tanooki Suit, Hammer Suit, and Kurbio's Shoe (aka Goomba's Shoe) should all be in more games. The graphics and sound pushed the NES to its limit, and it makes one of the best NES games ever made. 9.5
File:YoshiBox.jpg Yoshi (Wii VC, 3DS VC) This game is kind of repetitive, but the graphics are kind of cool and the music is alright. 7.2
File:Wrckcover.jpg Wrecking Crew (Wii VC, 3DS VC) It's really strange how you can't jump, leading to you becoming stuck and rendering some levels unbeatable until you commit suicide. Also, Luigi is purple. 6.3
North American box art of Wario's Woods for the Nintendo Entertainment System Wario's Woods (Wii VC) This game is a really fun puzzle game. I've had a lot of great moments in multiplayer and close wins and losses. For the last first party NES game, it's fantastic for its genre. 8.2
File:Donkey Kong Jr. NES Cover.PNG Donkey Kong Jr. (Wii VC, 3DS VC) It's way better suited for arcades and Atari or gaming computers. 5/10
File:Donkey Kong NES Cover.PNG Donkey Kong (GBA, Wii VC) Really? Only 3 of the 4 levels? 4/10
File:Mario Bros. NES Cover.PNG Mario Bros. (Wii VC) It's... it's... the controls are broken. 5/10
North American box art for Super Mario World Super Mario World (Wii VC, Wii U VC) This is quite possibly the finest Mario game and 2D platformer ever made. The 96 exits, the overworld map, the controls, the level design. Everything is stunning to this day. 10/10
The NA Player's Choice box artwork of Super Mario Kart Super Mario Kart (Wii VC) A racing game with blinding speeds and sort of confusing graphics. These issues were certainly fixed in sequels, but this game is still great. 8.3
Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars boxart Super Mario RPG (Wii VC) In my opinion, it is the second best Mario RPG. The sidequests that all lead up to the ending just makes the game more and more enjoyable. 10/10
North American box art of Super Mario 64. Super Mario 64 (Wii VC) Even more fine platforming. They beginning of 3D platforming, this game may be more innovative than the original Super Mario Bros. 10/10
North American box art for Yoshi's Story Yoshi's Story (Wii VC) Not as good as the original Yoshi's Island, this sequel focused on eating fruit more than beating Baby Bowser. 8.1
North American box art for Mario Kart 64 Mario Kart 64 (Wii VC) This game improved most of the flaws that Super Mario Kart with even more memorable courses and music. 8.5
North American boxart of Super Smash Bros. Super Smash Bros. (Wii VC) Although the pointy polygon counter was higher than ever, this still made for a fantastic multiplayer experience. 8.8
North American box art for Paper Mario Paper Mario (Wii VC) In the sequel to Super Mario RPG, we met new partner characters, explored flower fields and pyramids, and saved Peach's Castle from Bowser's wrath in this great papery adventure. 9.2
North American box art for Super Mario Sunshine. Super Mario Sunshine (GCN) This is the definition of under rated. So is the GameCube itself. This was always my favorite 3D Mario game. The Piantas and Nokis are so interesting in their conversations! 9.2
European Game Cover Mario Kart: Double Dash (GCN) Nice. But the controls were a little slippery when playing as Waluigi. The two character feature is very unique. 8.6
Luigi's Mansion boxart Luigi's Mansion (GCN) Although this game was short, Luigi finally had his own proper game and a good one at that. I wish Professor E. Gadd would have been in more games, though. 9.1
North American box art for Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door (GCN) This has to be the best RPG in the Mario series. With improved platforming and battle mechanics, an expanded story, and many more badges, it made this game fantastic. 9.5
North American box art for Super Smash Bros. Melee Super Smash Bros. Melee (GCN) More characters, a better Adventure mode, better stages... this game was fouble the first Smash Bros. 9.4
NSMBW NA Box Art.jpg New Super Mario Bros. Wii (Wii) Every issue that the already great New Super Mario Bros. DS had was fixed in this fantastic Wii installment. Nintendo must really love this game, considering all 4 games in the series that came out afterwards (Arcade, Mii, 2, U) are all based off of this one. 9.4
Boxart for Super Mario Galaxy. Super Mario Galaxy (Wii) Brilliant. Never before had Nintendo players seen such masterful gravitational platforming. With fantastic (for Wii) graphics, an orchestrated

soundtrack... just perfect.

10
Boxart for Super Mario Galaxy 2. Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Wii) A fantastic sequel. Just missing something, I felt. Maybe a touching story like the prequel? 9.7
WarioLandShakeIt.jpg Wario Land: Shake It (Wii) Not as good as Wario Land 1-3... 7.7
MKW Europe Box Art.jpg Mario Kart Wii (Wii) Fun online mode and lots of characters (and bikes are a welcome edition!), but something seemed overly-casual to me... 9.0
Offical American boxart of Donkey Kong Country Returns. Donkey Kong Country Returns (Wii) I didn't play this game to much, I really should try it again. 9.3 (so far)
SMAS25AU.png Super Mario All-Stars Limited Edition (Wii) Super Mario All-Stars on SNES is awesome! But this should have been just VC... and for that I award it a -> 5.8
Super Paper Mario North American cover art]] Super Paper Mario (Wii) Way under-rated, with a very nice story but worse gameplay. So confused over what to think... 9.2
Super Smash Bros. Brawl box art Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii) Masterpiece. Oh and laggy online but simply a masterpiece. 10
Boxart of Mario Party 8 Mario Party 8 (Wii) So fun, but the motion controls and lack of 16:9 support bring this back. 7.7
MP9Boxart.jpg Mario Party 9 (Wii) The car should have been optional, but a good installment nonetheless. 8.9
New Super Mario Bros. U North American box cover New Super Mario Bros. U (Wii U) A fun platformer, but a little more originality to keep the fire burning couldn't have hurt. 9.1
North American box art for Nintendo Land Nintendo Land (Wii U) The games are all fun (besides Octopus Dance) but many are too short. 8.8
Final North American box art for New Super Luigi U New Super Luigi U (DLC version, Wii U) A great expansion pack, but the levels are a little shorter than you would expect. 8.8
North American box art of Super Mario 3D World Super Mario 3D World (Wii U) Pre-ordered N/A
