How Mario Party: The Top 100 should have been

Bobsled Run
  		2 vs. 2 Going Somewhere Race your bobsled to the finish line! First team there wins!
Bombs Away
  		Free-For-All Ducking and Dodging Dodge cannonballs from the pirate ship until the end!
Bumper Balls
  		Free-For-All Ducking and Dodging Ride on the ball and slam into your rivals to knock them off!
Desert Dash
  		2 vs. 2 Let's Limbo Work with your teammate and sync your moves to reach the goal!
Face Lift
  		Free-For-All Can It Be Done Look at the guide closely and stretch the face to match!
Key-pa-Way
  		Special Darkness Rising All you have to do is get the key to the door... with several Mechakoopas to avoid.
Piranha's Pursuit
  		1 vs. 3 Slow and Steady The chase is on as 3 players give Petey Piranha the water he needs to stalk the fourth!
Running of the Bulb
  		Special Slow and Steady Get the bulb to the end of the room without letting the Big Boo get it!
Shy Guy Says

Changes

  • The   and   buttons are now used in Shy Guy Says instead of the   and   buttons.
  • In Piranha's Pursuit, the Piranha Plant has been replaced by Petey Piranha.
  • In Key-pa-Way, the Spike Koopas have been replaced with Mechakoopas.
  • In Running of the Bulb, players can now pass the bulb to each other, making it more similar to Key-pa-Way.
    • Also, both have been changed to Special minigames.
  • Shell Shocked is now only playable in Stage 3.
  • In Torpedo Targets, there is now an arrow that points to where the target is.
  • Baby Bowser has been replaced with different enemies, depending on the minigame.
    • Koopa Troopas replace them in Pipe Cleaners.
    • Bowser Jr. replaces them in The Final Battle!.
  • In Butterfly Blitz, scores are now shown during the minigame, and are not counted at the end.
  • A fourth button command has been added in Fight Cards, most likely to give the team a better chance of winning.
  • The   and   buttons must now also be pushed in Gondola Glide.
  • Due to the Nintendo 3DS's lack of a second joystick, the stylus and touch screen are used to control the small spinner in Spinner Cell.
  • The holes in Hole Hogs have been rearranged to emulate the Nintendo 3DS's  ,  ,  ,  ,  , and   buttons, which are now used by the solo player to control the hammer.
  • Circles drawn by the lone player in Line in the Sand take noticeably longer to form than in Mario Party 9.
