Favorite games
Though dark and all, this game had all the remarks of not having to waste time in turn-based battles. Furthermore, I had completed the whole game at 100% a few years back. Now that I regot the game, I shall think of redoing the whole game by 100% again.
This game marked the birth of my likeness of the Mario & Luigi series.
This game is how my strong likeness for Toadette began.
The second game I had liked. It may have Toadette in it, but the whole storyline was bleak. WHERE'S THE ELITE TRIO IN THIS GAME WHEN YOU NEED 'EM?!?!

Loved this game as a kid, but this game is byfar way too painful to play since there were a couple of tears at some points of the game.
This game I had to bail out on cause of Archivist Toadette.
This game's side story was the WORST thing I have ever played! ...apart from those three chumps. They're kinda cool. Anyways, long story short, this game is too painful to even think about playing again.

Well, here we come. The bad game. I was hoping I'd make complaints over Captain Toad, but now that it's viral, seems like there's no way to prevent this from happening. What it actually feels like to me is that I have a heart, and Toadette is my idol. Toadette is gone. Gone gone GONE!!! GONE FOREVER!!! And to think of all the fun I started on Mario Tennis Aces, it's been fun contributing, and I'm still doing it. However, I don't know why, but I just can't get Toadette out of my head. And now all I can do is cry, cry, cry and go through a lot till a Super Mario Party trailer airs up. It seems like it's over. Toadette's never appearing in another Mario game again...

Log 53: The Quest for Tattles

Still grieving over the fact that Toadette will “never be in another Mario game again”, though I’m kinda depressed over it… So in order to make up for it, I decided that I should get Super Paper Mario. Besides, I used to play this from 2014 all the way towards 2016…and I’m (probably) gonna do it again!
Anywho, I tried playing a ROM version of the game on Dolphin 5.0, but right when the scene where Mario & Luigi set off to Bowser’s Castle in the beginning of the game, it crashed. I mean, ROMs just don’t work as good as you think. However, I was able to look into the files and look around, but then I found those script files. Thankfully, all of them were TXT files, so it’s easy to look at every little inch of dialogue.
Besides, there were also tattles that I’ve seen or haven’t seen in there. So I’m considering making a list of Super Paper Mario tattles. I’m not sure when I would submit it, and I’m not sure if I could remind TheFlameChomp about it or not. It’s hard to fill in a description on my own when I have a big gaming brain…

I just don't understand WHY... Why do people talk about Toadette "not really a Toad"? Basically it's a form of Toadette. I mean, it's like people are now thinking, "Oh no! Poor Toadette, cursed by Kamek!" or "How long have you been cast under this spell?" I mean, I'm a little happy that the whole Captain Toad thing is starting to fade away. I'm just bewildered over the three theories.

I mean, I'm a Nintendo kinda guy, and I find all these theories preeeeeetty false to be honest. I mean, I'm fine with Toadette being in NSMBUD, but what concerns me is that I've been trying to fill in for the Super Paper Mario bestiary. Right on the point when I was editing, I accidentally made a little error, and I knew if I left it like this, I woud be blocked indefinitely. I mean, one little accident is basically vandalism if you're not careful enough.

I just wish people can accept this looney crown to be only available to Toadette. I mean, you know how people kneel on making genderbend characters, such as in an “anime” appearance. It’s been giving me laughs…well…until early 2018’s videos… It’s like no one seems to care about funniness, or…was it that YouTube is being rejectful over them stupid policies about insulting Italians? I like all the wacky jokes! I mean, why they gotta trash ‘em on the modern videos and make it uptight and emotional? That’s just wrong! And sick at the same time!
I just wish these dumb arcs would end and then just make more ideas! Like, say, another SSENMODNAR? There’s NEVER gonna be a SSENMODNAR 13…since…13’s an unlucky number?

Sorry. I’m just overexcited over that new Bowser’s Inside Story remake. Besides, other than the Toads and the Shine Rank being replaced with the Boomerang Rank thus the big switcheroo with the Flower Rank, every single element in the game seems to be irreplaceable! Am I right?
Its just one little question: How come there are Oho Jees in this game? I mean, I don’t think they belong in the category of this RPG. Also, where were the Oho Jees? On a vacation to Cavi Cape? Err, something like that…

That’s right. “SS Company”: The other three followers of Fawful other than Midbus. I am bound to know the SS Company’s names, so apparently, everything’s just bizarre Japanese… So apparently, I can’t even play the game with such a symbolized mess!
Anyways, let’s get straight to the hype for Toadette’s Crowned-up adventure rather than just Bowser Jr.’s; I’m saying that it may seem unparticularly boring, but I really wanted to see Toadette’s forms besides Peachette (I know, Peachette is a lot popular, could be something where imagination comes true for her). I was kind of disappointed that Toadette’s forms aren’t what they were expected to be, but they were kind of OK. I’m just glad it’s not another thing about tracking treasure.
Some people say that Bowsette was killing off the Mario franchise (FYI, making it “canon”). Bowsette is like a bug spray, goshdangit! So, yeah. The bug spray will one day this year be thrown away in the trash, and next thing, it will be a discontinued brand of bug spray (dead meme if you catch my drift).
I’m more excited about Bowser Jr.’s Journey AND New Super Mario Bros. U (ft. Toadette and a crown that turns her into a princess) than anything in the Mario universe!
And forget everything I said back in 2018; that whole Tag Team Trouble nonsense is just ludicrous.

The Good News
Nintendo has finally settled the whole fanfic lore over Bowsette, now the queen of all the Ugandan Knuckles for showing her “DA WAE” as they’d call it. Besides, this meme was extremely overrated and is an F- for the children-esque environment of Mario. Glad Nintendo doesn’t want any genderbend characters as part of the franchise’s agenda. Am I right?

Log 61: I Kind of Regretted It…

It’s been about two whole weeks since those two new games were released. I enjoyed New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe most because of how you can play as Toadette and get an easy rating. Nabbit (AKA Nitbit) is useless to me since he doesn’t REALLY complete the courses at all.
I’m feeling a bit broken about Bowser Jr.’s Journey though. I will play a lot more, but there’s one part that upsets me to the point where it’s all Tag Team Trouble all over again. I don’t know about this, but there isn’t a lot of content acquired for Bowser Jr.’s Journey. Doesn’t anyone think Nintendo is too lazy to make new units other than Swoop (which is fully created)?
What I wanna say is I kind of regret crying over Toadette “not being in a Mario game ever again”.
2018, I felt like my world was just falling apart. In 2019, however, things get better.
I don’t know why, but I instantly regretted fullifying the TAOSMB3 quote list. I know, it’s embarrassing to me, but you’ll be amazed after a whole year worth of progress of how much effort I put into this.

It’s been about four weeks (DOUBLE THE NUMBER I SAID IN MY LAST LOG :P) since those two games came out. At first, Bowser’s Inside Story’s new remake was outright BIZARRE! Bizarre enough to laugh at the Fawful Guys’s crazy dance moves.
But…things just took a turn when I played today… I was so so so upset that I don’t think I respect the evil characters anymore. I’d rather abandon the evil characters outta my heart.
I never felt so scarred and touched by this…
I mean, yeah, I’m still gonna play that game, yes! It’s just that one scene is all Tag Team Troubleness all over again…
If I hear anyone say something that they got past seeing Bowser Jr. eat the Charred Spicy Drumstick while crying, there’s gonna be a lifelong issue here.

Log 63: How Great is Mario Maker 2 and What’s Worse Than Morton’s Malatone Tragedy?

How great is Mario Maker 2? Why, yes! Not just Toadette being in the game, but a storm of new materials heading your way! I just can’t seem to know who this guy is supposed to be. It can take you up, yes, but the SMW version of it heavily references a miniature Ty-foo as it appears. I also can’t shake the feeling of waiting for a new trailer. Besides, I wanna see the details of the game and see how it goes! (I just hope Mario Maker 2 gets DLC.) Also, I wonder if this is canon: A Fire Bro/Sledge Bro hybrid enemy that you can turn a Hammer Bro into with a Super Mushroom and a Fire Flower. Slopes, Snake Blocks, new enemies…ANYTHING an upgraded level-making game would flourish! I wonder what the brand new elements for the game would be like? Find out soon at April!
What’s worse than Morton's Malatone Tragedy? My gaming era’s WORST enemy! I just wish this game were to be done, done, DONE!!! Extended Mario 3D World adventures, some stupid mushroom-shaped skeleton, EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS KOOPING GAME!!! IT’S HIDEOUS!!! I mean, just thinking about the new content of multiplayer makes me wanna RAGE! Congratulations, Nintendo. I trusted you, and you HAD to spill the beans on a new update for this game! I’m about 85% done with New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe. I just beat Roy, I collected all the Star Coins throughout the Rock Candy Mines (with a couple cheats), and now I just feel like there’s nothing to do other than that cherished game. Am I missing internet patience? And why am I still bored to the core over the April 11th Nintendo Direct? I mean, do you only play as Mario in Mario Maker 2? Can you change characters? I mean, there’s gotta be more than just all this boredom hoopla goin’ on!
Also, seeing Toadette in New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe didn’t just make a whole purpose for my life, but it left me with several questions over my past deeds… Why was I severely depressed throughout 2018? Why was I filling in all those TAOSMB3 quotes? Did I just wanna constantly talk about how terrible Treasure Tracker was?

Anyways, what’s Toadette without that crown, anyway? Just having her grab a Super Crown to become Peachette… Turns out I am quite used to that and I enjoy it. I am still quite ashamed that they’d make a Treasure Tracker out of how it started, but…that’s OK. I’m livin’ the dream!
I just hope Nintendo would explain more about Mario Maker 2, the tornado thing, and a bunch of new, cool, undiscovered stuff I can’t recall! Get your level elements ready, cause this is where things will REALLY get creative!
Log 65: Did I Change Nintendo?

Honestly, I know 100% I’m real fond to the Mario canon. But thing is, since New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe lifted my spirits with Toadette and the Super Crown that is usable only to her, was it an idea Nintendo ever came up with itself, or did I make Miyamoto the one to blame for Treasure Tracker and all that depressing nonsense I’ve blabbered over within last year?
I mean, here’s my theory: People might’ve outdone the whole head-or-hat mystery over Toad in between the cartoon Toad’s own spotted hat and the real Toad’s own mushroom head, and one Nintendo developer might’ve stumbled right onto my Mariowiki userpage wondering how in blazes was going on. Next thing, he starts to feel sullen about my “Toadette’s never appearing in another Mario game again” lie. I mean, I know for sure that was a lie. And I didn’t really mean to be the big upset of the Mario fandom.
Am I the leading cause of Nintendo adding Toadette in New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe? Was there ever a reason of why Nintendo had implemented that idea of the crown that caused some hot Bowser lady to pop out just about everywhere? I don’t mean to make Nintendo feel bad, but Toadette is better off showing up in tons of core Mario games such as Mario Odyssey and New Mario U Deluxe. She’s gonna be the BOMB in Mario Maker 2…at least…if she were to be my player 1 character, that’d be nice…I’m not truly sure if Luigi, Toad or Toadette can be a player 1 character. I must be regretting things in life others in the Mario fandom had never known…

Log 66: My Nintendo 3DS Goes Kablooey...AGAIN!!!

Welp, it's hopeless. My second Nintendo 3DS has broke. Nothing I can do to fix it. THANKS TO SOME KOOPING INCIDENT THAT HAPPENED!!! I mean, I initially had a blue case with a blue 3DS, but now, after about 30 seconds, my 3DS crashes. I think a drop might’ve caused this, cause I’m getting a third 3DS and I’m gonna have to try and get help on how to fix it.
Help me, guys. My second 3DS has all my data in there. Now everything is disappearing. Help me. I don’t wanna start at Level 1 again! I wanna proceed to the next level and the next until I reach Bowser for Pete’s sake!
I mean, I'm still desperate for a Nintendo Switch Online Membership that lasts a year.
Anyways, THANK GOD I still have that Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions game card from last year. It'll finally make the spotlight to become unboxed!
Also, I am not playing Bowser Jr.'s Journey ever again. All because of that one bad part; I am not explaining its contents.
Log 67: MY OWN 3DS DATA IS SAVED!!!

You wouldn’t BELIEVE what happened at that one moment! My 3DS, was sitting in the garbage, and I turned it on to make sure the error was still going, but turns out that the error actually lasted for a couple hours, no repair tutorials or throwaways taken. The only problem is…
- 1. The case
- 2. The replacement
- 3. Transferring the data (in which I don’t know if it’s a New Nintendo 3DS XL or if it was just a regular one)
Since the replacement is still riding on into my mailbox, I shall learn how to transfer all the data right onto the new one and learn which tools I should use (Not sure if I should use a tiny phillips or a tiny flathead, but regardless, it requires a screwdriver.) I shall decide whether to keep playing until the LED on my 3DS goes kablooey like in 2016 with the red one, and that I won’t have to worry about having the R button being stuck at certain moments since I had kept on using the button to skip cutscenes from the Mario & Luigi RPG series.
Thank god the 3DS is well-fixed and better. It’s like someone that’s important to another someone fell unconscious for 24 hours and woke up in a hospital wondering what in The Lost Levels just happened. I thank my 3DS for being renewed!
Log 68: Nintendo’s Book of Bitterness and Betterness

Yep. Nintendo fixes everything. Well, almost everything. I mean, sure, I have no idea of why I just wouldn’t stop watching that SMB3 episode with the wrestlers; I mean, I feel just doing that only makes matters worse, especially after seeing something upsetting happen in a game I didn’t like or will never play either ever again or I don’t have the will to play it.
I mean, Nintendo was able to fix a whole lotta fan-based problems lately (including mine), starting from the well-known New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, a game in which I feel Toadette is the star of and enhances a great storyline and a better approach for the franchise. Next was the whole massive sandbox of Super Mario Maker 2 waiting to roll down the front door on a certain mail wagon. I mean, can minor abandoned characters get their majority role? Why, yes. They can. It’s in the foretold Book of Bitterness and Betterness.
I’m just kidding. The Book of Bitterness and Betterness doesn’t exist… I’m just making this up. So anyways, E3 2019 was kinda dull; it mainly focused on mostly Zelda. Of course, I don’t mind Legend of Zelda, but always remember how many Bobs (SMG4 name for Garo Ninja) were there in Majora’s Mask cause I’m liking the WillFromAfar voice they make.
So yeah, again, E3 was pretty bland, and that there’s not a lotta Mario worth approaching; I would still appreciate new Mario amiibo, especially that of Toadette…if it comes…
Log 69: Good Gameplay, Bad Name Display

Luigi’s Mansion 3 may be a massive disappointment for me, but on the plus side, Luigi’s horrified expression on his face is totally priceless enough to have a tiny laugh at. But…it’s just missing one thing: a name. You know, like Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon; AKA Luigi’s Mansion 2? The third installment REALLY needs a title.
Speaking of titles, since the theme is a hotel that happens to be a ghastly scam that turned Mario, Peach, and three Toads into paintings, I think the new Luigi’s Mansion game should be retitled, “Luigi’s Mansion: Hotel Hoopla” or “Luigi’s Mansion: The Vacation Scam”. I just wish Luigi’s Mansion 3 would pull off a new title like “Yoshi” with “Yoshi’s Crafted World” and “Paper Mario” with “Paper Mario: Sticker Star”. In fact, I bore the latter… Now you know why Nintendo can’t keep up with titles.
I don’t prefer horror content (except Undertale (minus the Genocide Route, which I will never play ever) and Deltarune (isn’t playing that even a good idea? I’m pretty sure the game is gonna have a really scary twist applied to it.)) cause it’s not my type of gamestyle. I prefer roleplaying (only the ones that don’t let me down, such as Superstar Saga) and platforming (only the ones where Toadette joins in on the adventure), which are the most meta Mario games I’d rather play in the world.
Of course, I would LOVE to knock my clock on seeing the Illumination Mario movie that could come in the next three years. I’d be happy to see how weird the characters could look, you know, since the cast was in huge numbers, as the movie would be big enough to star Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Toadette on an adventure to stop Bowser and his evil minions. (who absolutely are turtles and other monsters, and NOT the ones that adore bananas)
Besides, whenever I get an update on new Mario games, hopefully a changed-up Paper Mario with all the old elements, which would be likely to happen since this is a different generation of the plumber, I’d agree that this generation of Nintendo is rather a helpful one that makes the company more assertive with terrible opinions. (except you, Waluigi; you weren’t made to smash)
Log 70: Unhappy Gamers

Okay, so lemme get this straight… Why do millions of people have to rant about the most minor changes in every instance of media within every franchise? It’s like that live-action Sonic movie trailer that made people hate the realistic “ugly” looking Sonic.
Oh, and here’s another rant I’ve heard recently: People are “bringing back the National Dex” thanks to E3. Seriously, Pokemon fans, why can’t you play how it is? You can’t catch, like, all 800 of these obsessive creatures like forever. #BringBackNationalDex: It’s all viral. Once it’s viral, it’s all over the web.
Rants about Waluigi “not being in Smash”… Movie Sonic looking “ugly”… “Bringing back” the National Dex…
Sigh…this is why I don’t trust ranters… I mean, I was a ranter once, but…I feel all that has changed. And I’m glad I’m much more accepting to Nintendo since the beginning of the year.
Log 71: Preparing for Literal Cat Mario (and I mean by the flash game)

Sigh, at long last, Super Mario Maker 2 is gonna come out in five days! Ooooh, it’s so long I can’t wait any longer!!!
When this game comes out, here’s what I’ll do: I will change my character to be Toadette, start to make some levels and play around with some of the levels. (i.e. Troll levels, silly stuff, etc.) Trust me, the invisible coin block traps are absolutely funny, but do you want to know what’s even funnier than that?
LITERAL CAT MARIO!!!
And I mean either Mario, Luigi, Toad, or Toadette as cats, going through all these obstacles and going through things like invisible block traps, invisible blocks in cruel places, all that! The 3D World style is LITERALLY the Cat Mario flash game if you are playing in the 3D World style and you are giving Mario and co. a cat suit.
Look out, fellers! Cats Unite is coming soon in no more than five days! I’m so excited about this so much that I can hardly wait!
Log 72: The Return of a Cash Cow Era

I know I’ve said this before 37 logs ago, but I’m getting that feeling Mario and Angry Birds are related to each other all over again.
I mean, reason is that they don’t use proper dialogue in which they say a few simple wording. Besides, who wants a Netflix adaptation where all the Mushroom Kingdom characters go mute? Bet that would be disatisfying.
I mean, I get it. The characters can’t talk, they will in the 2022 movie, I’m sure of it. I just can’t stand the whole purpose of Super Mario Maker 2’s story mode.
I’m just saying that I hate the story mode of Mario Maker 2. Everything else is A-OK.
For Mario Maker 2’s story mode, I feel the entire plot is that Mario, Toade- uh, I mean Chief, Taskmaster, and all the other Toad laborers are even stupider than I imagine them. Get an education, plumber! And go to school already! You’re at least a man’s age and that personality should be proper, but Chief on the other hand…SOOOOOOO out of character.
Thankfully, in my world, they’re not as stupid as they were in Mario Maker 2’s story mode.
Bowser must be as stupid as Peach since they always have security system that always flaw out; Toads sleeping on the job, Koopalings getting whiplashed! It’s like the whole method of the pigs stealing the birds’s and the birds having to crash massive towers in order to stop them.
This one mode of Mario Maker 2 violates me for some reason… Nothing else to come, nothing new in store for the Madbird…sigh…
Sigh, I can’t believe I lied to myself about not being a total ranter. I don’t do picture rants anymore cause they’re so immature, so thank god I don’t do those anymore.
Log 73: My Opinion on Bowser’s Inside Story + Bowser Jr.’s Journey

Hey. I just want to tell you something I hate about Bowser Jr.’s Journey, the side game to Bowser’s Inside Story’s 3DS remake, even though you can play the original with a simple DS cartridge.
This doesn’t revolve around the emotion of the game since I don’t want this being about tearful garbage that is the sin of all the cutscenes in this side game. The real reason of why I hate Bowser Jr.’s Journey is because of the enemy troops. They were seemingly rushed on the sprites and they didn’t even do the job to correct every single Kooping error! Seriously, next time, Nintendo, Ice Bros better have red tongues or there’ll be more serious problems. I mean, did you see Sergeant Guy’s shoes? In battle, his shoes were blue when they were supposed to be brown! UGH! Even the most tiniest errors suck Donkey Kong!
It isn’t just that, no! They have reused graphics from Dream Team, Paper Jam, and Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions. Seriously, Nintendo. Try and get the time to make new troops already!
Also, it’s those dang glitches that keep popping up. You fight a Sniffle Thwomp in Bowser’s Castle, and BAM! The game is stuck! Two enemy Big Tail Goombas do a failed attack where it just says “DUMMY” after they attack! WHOOSH! The black dummy box is such a dummy! Seriously, that really IS a cute tail fail…LITERALLY! And it’s not cute!
At least Paper Jam’s glitches/bugs aren’t as more revealing as Bowser Jr.’s Journey’s were. I mean, the Mario & Luigi RPG series really needs to approve more of all the new enemies and stuff. Who knows? Maybe add new story elements and new wacky characters like the Best Fitness Friends? At least they were the last known original characters in the Mario RPG universe of our latest generation!
Seriously, Nintendo. Don’t rush yourselves making the next Mario & Luigi game; you probably don’t know how a side story would work for a Partners in Time remake anyway…
Log 74: Rescue Princesses, Not Rebuild Their Castles

Welp, nothing Mario-related is coming again. I am hoping that something good were to happen in the franchise, but all that comes out is nada. Do you ever get that feeling? I do.
So, it’s towards the end of July, and that I just wanna say something about Mario Maker 2. I know I’ve said this before, but building the levels and playing them over and over seems kinda fun, but then it becomes boring about a month later.
The only think I don’t like is the story mode of the game. Plotpoint: The entire story is pointless, plot twists take place within every step, and next thing, you’re off to over 100 pre-made courses making moolah.
Honestly, I kinda prefer New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe over Super Mario Maker 2’s story mode. (the rest of Mario Maker 2 is OK)
I mean, Super Mario Maker 2 is OK, but let’s cut to the chase: New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe I feel should have a story which crosses with after the end of the special episode of Treasure Tracker and the aftermath of Peach’s rescue. Besides, this marks as Toadette’s change of actions throughout the story. I mean, I know making an entire story of New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe may seem tedious, but I digress…New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe has a much better suitable environment for me than Super Mario Maker 2…’s story mode.
Would you ever hit Morton with two fireballs and jump on him for a quick defeat? You bet that’d happen.
Would you jump over the flagpole while you can? That’s an opportunity.
Can you withstand a bajillion minions with all your strength? …Kind of off.
But seriously. Save princess from a Koopa king’s takeover. Not build her castle worth a thousand coins.

Welp, it’s that time again. Another Odyssey era!
If this is true, then I am really 100% certain that the Toad Brigade will be in there…including the Rise of Archivism! AAAUGH!!! WHY IS LIFE SO HARD WHEN YOU AT LEAST EXPECT IT, MADBIRD82?!?!
I thought there would be no more Odyssey stuff going along this year! Turns out that Nintendo’s pushing off the lore into turning it into an Odyssey Sunshine crossover, whichever comes first!
I…I can’t believe all along, I feel my heart is just hurtin’ thinking about Toadette maining in another 2D side-scrolling platform with Mario, Luigi, and (a) Toad.
If another Mario game comes by to turn this around, well...surprise me! Sigh...guess the only thing I should say now is…
I am doomed.
