I just joined to fix small spelling and grammatical errors as I see them. I'm not touching the content.
I still remember the day I got Mario Bros. 2 in the mail, and later when I got Super Mario World for Christmas. Why I can't remember Mario Bros. 3 in between, I couldn't tell you--I liked it more than those two put together.
I still play the first Super Mario Brothers very often... and sadly, I still cannot beat it without warping (except on All-Stars, of course, with the infinite continues)!
While Sunshine disappointed me, I'll stick with the majority opinion in saying that Galaxy will be a hit.
