So then, I've finally got around to creating this user page. It's very basic at the moment, and it'll probably stay that way, as I really can't be arsed making it fancy.

In any case, a little about myself. I'm Matt from northern England, 31 years old at the time of writing this (DOB 24/1/81) and my first Nintendo game was Donkey Kong Jr. on the BBC Micro. I owned a NES years ago, and loved the original Mario games; I've owned pretty much every Nintendo console except the original Game Boy, Virtual Boy and 3DS, which I will get when the new Paper Mario game comes out or something else I want; at the moment there are no games that appeal to me, so I thought I might as well wait. I still own my N64 with Donkey Kong 64, but my copy of Banjo-Tooie either broke or I lost it... they're my two favourite 3D platformers of that era - only the two Mario Galaxies hold a candle to them IMO.

I've been active on Mariowiki for at least two or three years. I used to always correct grammar mistakes but I've become a little lazy in that regard lately. I know a lot of useless facts about the games, so I incorporate them into the articles if they warrant inclusion. I try to be helpful and add important information, and that's pretty much it for now! Any questions, feel free to ask!
