A Tōsanbōru is a flashing spiked ball acting as an obstacle in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. It first and frequently appears in Pumpkin Zone Area 1 and later appears in Pumpkin Zone Area 4. It is attached to a chain and moves up and down every couple of seconds, usually in corridors which must be traversed to complete the level. It hurts the player if they touch it.
