Tropical Paper Toad Hunt
Template:Missionbox Tropical Paper Toad Hunt is the second mission of Twinsy Tropics in Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam.
Layout
The mission occurs in Twinsy Tropics's village area, and Mario and co. must rescue all twenty Paper Toads in the area. The first Paper Toads are just to the south of the Lakitu Info Center; one is held hostage by a Koopa Troopa, and another runs around and must be slid into. The next three Paper Toads are trapped in bubbles hovering above ground immediately to the east, and bubbles will occasionally drop down, making them vulnerable to being popped. Two more Paper Toads in bubbles are just up a little north and a little east, respectively, and both must be rescued via Trio Grab. Heading back to the west of the Lakitu Info Center, Mario and co. will encounter five more Paper Toads in bubbles; however, attempting to rescue them will cause the bubbles to ascend, so they must dash into a springboard on the other side to pop all of the bubbles and free the Paper Toads. Immediately south of the springboard is a Paper Toad held hostage by another Koopa Troopa, and further south are two more Paper Toads: one running around on paper terrain that must be slid into, and another in a bubble over water that must be rescued via Trio Grab. Heading further to the east below the bridge, Mario and co. encounter a Paper Toad in a narrow space that only Paper Mario can enter. The area further south yields a Paper Toad stuck underneath a cardboard rock slab which must be flipped over via Trio Hammer. Mario and co. must then head back to the west end of the bridge to free another Paper Toad in a narrow space, then get on the bridge to free the last two Paper Toads, who are both trapped in bubbles that constantly ascend and descend.
