Tricky Trapeze Theater (Tricky Trapeze Theatre in the British English Wii U version), otherwise known as World 5-2, is the second course in World 5 from Super Mario 3D World and its Nintendo Switch port Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. The level is unlocked by clearing Sunshine Seaside, and completion of either this level or Backstreet Bustle unlocks Chargin' Chuck Blockade Is Back.

Layout

A zipline lift takes the player to an area with Fizzlits and trapezes. Shortly after, another zipline lift takes the player to the Checkpoint Flag and some platforms filled with Mushroom Trampolines and Piranha Plants. A clear pipe takes the player to an area with swinging platforms with spiked bars and more trapezes. Eventually, the player reaches an area with a trapeze and the Goal Pole.

Green Stars

  • Green Star 1: On a high ledge at the beginning of the level.
  • Green Star 2: To the east of the rotating platforms, there is a pipe. When the player enters the pipe, they have to grab the Blue Coins to collect the Green Star.
  • Green Star 3: The Green Ring near the end of the level must be activated in order to get the Green Coins and the Green Star.

Stamp

Wii U version
Switch version
  • To the north of the rotating platforms, the player can use the Mushroom Trampoline to reach it. The stamp is Luigi jumping.

Luigi sighting

At the very beginning, if the player looks down at one of the pillars, an 8-bit Luigi can be seen in the clouds. This is slightly difficult to see.
