The Train Ticket is a special item in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. Mario obtains the ticket from Don Pianta after reuniting him with his daughter, Francesca Pianta and her boyfriend, Frankie. It is required for Mario and his partners to board the Excess Express to Poshley Heights in their quest for the Garnet Star. The Train Ticket permanently remains in Mario's inventory, allowing him and his partners to ride the Excess Express from Rogueport to Poshley Heights, and vice versa, after they acquire the Garnet Star.
